“Dad wants me to marry Natalie Johnson?” Nathan looked at the letter in his hand speechlessly.

Natalie Johnson was his childhood friend. She had been good-looking since she was a kid and was probably even more beautiful now.

Nathan’s father’s words were very strict and left Nathan no other choices, so he had to do what his dad had ordered.

Early the next morning, the prisoners were celebrating when Nathan left the Devendill Prison. Once he left, they could do whatever they wanted again!

The celebrating prisoners fell silent in an instant and began to shiver.

Nathan looked at some typical troublemakers and grinned. Then, he brought his luggage, left the Devendill Prison, where he had lived for more than a decade, and got on a plane to Mimar City.

“How can I meet this woman wherever I go?!” Nathan frowned after entering the first-class cabin.

There were eight seats in the first class, and one of them was occupied by Jade, whom he had just met.

Jade was dressed casually in black. Although she took off her uniform, she still looked very arrogant.

She was also startled when she saw Nathan. She shook her head and didn’t speak.

“Didn’t Ms. Perkins tell you that you are not worthy of her? Why are you following her?” Brinn, the assistant of Jade, asked in a deep voice, her pretty face was cold as ice.

Nathan didn’t say a word When they met at the gate of Devendill Prison. But now he followed her to the plane, which was rather shameful. It was important for a man to know when to let go.

Suddenly, three men rushed in and aimed their guns at Jade.

“General Perkins, you arrested our boss and brought us a lot of trouble!” The person in the front thumbed the safety catch and sneered.

The passengers in the first-class cabin were frozen.

How did these three guys board the plane with guns?!

Nathan put down the magazine, glanced at them, and then picked it up again as if he had become blind.

Brinn’s face turned pale. She didn’t expect Beardo’s men to chase after them to the plane!

She turned around and glanced at Nathan.

The other party was sitting in the blind spot of those three men. If he took the opportunity to attack them, she would have a chance to fight back. But Nathan was still in his seat as if something in the magazine deeply attracted him.

This coward! Fortunately, Ms. Jade has broken the engagement with him!

Brinn became nervous.

Jade said blankly, “Well. It seems that I haven’t captured all of Beardo’s men. Or, there is still someone behind him.”

The man with the gun sneered and said, “This is not what you should be concerned about, General Perkins. Come with us!”

Brinn once again looked at Nathan. At this time, the only chance that she could turn the situation around was if Nathan attacked those three men first.

Brinn gritted her teeth in anger when she saw Nathan didn’t move.

Jade looked directly at the three men.

She smiled slightly and said, “Do you know there is a saying about the martial art of Hechland? The closer, the scarier.”

The men’s expressions changed, and they shouted, “Stop talking nonsense! Just follow us immediately if you don’t want to die!”

As soon as they finished speaking, Jade stood up in a flash, reached out her hand, and took the pistol from one man. At the same time, she struck his throat with her hand and knocked him out. Then, she did the same to the other two’s foreheads before they could react.

Jade quickly brought down the three dangerous hijackers in the blink of an eye.

Brinn was taken aback. She didn’t expect Jade could bring down three armed men by herself and didn’t cause any harm to the others.

“Sorry for making you all startled. I will ask someone to come over immediately so this flight will not be delayed.” Jade bowed slightly and smiled at the stunned crowd.

One of the passengers seemed to recognize her and exclaimed, “You are Lieutenant General Perkins, right? A rising star of our military and a great fighter!”

“I didn’t know you were General Perkins! It’s our honor to travel with you!”

“With General Perkins here, this flight can’t be safer! You don’t need to worry!”

After everyone recognized Jade, they all started to praise her.

Soon, some soldiers came to escort the three hijackers, and the flight was not delayed.

Brinn couldn’t help but look at Nathan with disdain.

This coward didn’t look like a man at all.

Jade said indifferently to Nathan, “You’re not worthy, don’t follow me anymore. I won’t change my mind.”

Brinn also sneered. “If you follow her again, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

Their words attracted everyone’s attention, and they all looked at Nathan in disdain. However, Nathan didn’t pay any attention to this sarcasm.

After arriving at the airport in Mimar City, he took his luggage and left.

“This is…” Brinn noticed a letter left on Nathan’s seat, she picked it up and handed it to Jade.

Jade glanced at it, then froze for a while.

She smiled, “He didn’t come for me, but for another woman… It’s good for him. He should be clear that we are not a good match. After this incident, he might not chase after me anymore.”

Nathan, who had just gotten off the plane, walked out of the airport and saw a familiar man.

“Mr. Nathan!” After seeing Nathan, the man bowed deeply and greeted him respectfully.

Royce.

Jade had just walked out of the airport when she saw a luxurious Rolls-Royce drive past her. She vaguely saw a familiar figure from the window.

Jade laughed at herself.

Nathan had been expelled from the Evans family. How could he afford such a luxury car?
