Right now, all his previous plans did not achieve the effect he desired as Sophia was allegedly in mortal

danger, hanging between life and death!

“Mr. Knight, should we upload the video now?” Caleb wanted to do something for Alice, fearing that she

might die in the kidnapper’s hand if they did not do anything.

“Hold on.” Ethan recalled the scene at the wedding, thinking that if the Little Fox he was looking for

really was Alice, then she would not just sit there and accept her fate. His gut was telling him that she

would retaliate and things might even turn around in their favor!

At the same time, the live news made him chuckle, for he thought that it was amusing to go against her

own grandmother!

It’s about time to put the plan into action.

Taking her phone out, Alice phoned Elijah, who became excited upon seeing that it was her. In his

head, he thought that she must be calling to plead for mercy.

Since his goal was to obtain Woland Group, he predicted that he could name any price if Alice was

begging him. Yet, Elijah did not know that disaster was heading his way, for he was still immersed in his

own dreamland!

Barely holding in his laughter, Eljiah remembered that the media was all over the room, so he needed

to keep his facade up. Exiting the ward with his phone in hand, he went to a secluded corner before

answering the call. “How dare you call me! You assaulted your grandmother until she was admitted to a

hospital, you…”

Eljiah wanted to strike first.

“Uncle Elijah, I have something here that you might be interested in seeing.” Without wasting her

words, Alice stated her aim openly.

“What is it?”

This stunned Eljiah. This is different than what I’ve thought. Isn’t she going to plead for mercy?

“I’ll send a few photos for you to see, Uncle Elijah.” Alice then uploaded some photos to him.

Not thinking too much into it, Elijah was shocked upon seeing what the content of the photos were.

“What do you want, Alice?”

Smiling, she replied, “Is it not obvious what I want?”

“Where did you get these photos?” Elijah had a very fierce expression. Although he could suppress his

voice, he failed to suppress his anger and fear.

“Uncle Elijah, if you didn’t want anyone to know about this, then you shouldn’t have done it. Not only do

I have photos of you and Emma’s intimate moments, I even have a video of it. Do you want to take a

look? If you want to, I can send it over shortly.”

“What do you want?” Elijah played the video with shaky hands. Although he did not know when Alice

managed to record this, he knew that he would be finished if the video got out.

Now, everyone knew that Emma was his daughter, so this kind of scandal would place him in a very

hard spot.

“As for the incident where the old hag was assaulted, you should settle it in a satisfactory way. If I don’t

like it, you should know what the consequences are.”

Since Alice already achieved her aim, she did not want to stay even a second more on this call.

Hanging up right after that, she believed that she was in for a very spectacular show.

At that moment in the villa, Caleb did not understand what Ethan meant by telling him to wait. Things

have already reached this point, so why are we still waiting around?

What else can we wait for? What else is there to see?

Caleb had been keeping tabs on what happened online when he suddenly saw that Eljiah was about to

host a press conference, which confused him. “Elijah is hosting a press conference now? Does he still

want to further slander Miss Woland? Why is he going so far? He’s just plainly humiliating Miss Woland

now! That b*stard is too cruel!”

This made Ethan smirk. Elijah has been hiding behind the scenes all along and has not directly pointed

the blame at Alice, so he would not hold a press conference just to condemn her now.

“My aim for holding a press conference today is to explain yesterday’s incident and to prove my niece’s

innocence.”

Since the media was broadcasting this live, Elijah’s voice came from the phone as soon as Caleb

clicked on the livestream.

“What? What is he playing at?” Caleb did not believe his words, for Elijah was defaming Alice the

moment before. Now, he wants to help prove Miss Woland’s innocence?

As the incident had been rapidly escalating from yesterday, the reporters could smell a huge scoop, so

they squeezed to the front. “Mr. Woland, what do you mean by this?”

“My mother’s wound on her head was not caused by Alice.”

Although Elijah was very unwilling, he could only stand on Alice’s side since he could not afford risking

the video being leaked. “The wound was actually caused by her falling on her own.”

This statement took everything within Eljiah to say!

“But, it was Old Mrs. Woland who said that her wound was caused by Alice.” Naturally, the journalists

were not fools.

“My mother is getting on in age, so she has become a bit confused. She remembered it wrongly.” Elijah

could feel his blood pressure flying up.

“Yesterday, you also personally stated to the media that it was Alice that hurt Old Mrs. Woland, Mr.

Woland.”

Journalists were all very curious about this, so they did not plan on letting it go just like that.

breaths before he could say it.

Elijah’s words had technically pushed the blame onto his wife and sister, as he painted himself as a

bystander who did not know much.

No matter what, he had completely cleared Alice’s name.

With his weakness in her hands, Elijah did not dare to not clear her name. He was even worried that

she might not be satisfied with this!

“The f*ck? What is this mess? What is actually happening?” Caleb was stunned by this development.

“Basically, Elijah framed himself, his mother, his wife, and his sister. Did he make everyone in his family

look bad just to clear Miss Woland’s name? Is he under some curse? Or is he being possessed?”
