Chapter 6

"Ramices? Is that you? What happened? Oh my gosh, I can't believe this..." Sid greeted to me. After a year, he come back to visit me. He asked if I can pick him up in the airport, since I have nothing to do I say yes to his request.

"What's wrong? As if you see a ghost in me." I said sulking.

"Best, You really look gorgeous now. How this happened?" he said in disbelief.

"Mom, forced me to hangout in the gym this past few months. She only prepared me salad for 3 months, she make me suffer a lot." I said pouting.

"Really, that's great! Good for you, look at you now, very handsome and very sexy. Wait, your hair, finally you decided to cut it. You really shocked me Ram. This is the best transformation I've ever seen." Sid said in happiness.

"You exaggerated." I said and drag him in my car.

He decided to stay in our house for the meantime while he's having a month vacation.

"I'm looking forward to see your mom. I really missed her cook."

"Well, thanks to you I can appreciate a proper meal while your here."

"Dont expect, now I'm here I'll make sure, you still continue to have a sexy body."

I sigh. "You always my mom's ally." I said in disappointment.

"True!" he said and laugh.

When we got home, mom already prepared our dinner. I gulped when I see my favorite food in the table.

"Just take a look, but you can't eat it." mom's said when he notice me staring the food.

"Mom! Let me eat it, I really craving for it." I protest.

"I feel sad for you best, but don't worry auntie and I will surely enjoy this food." Sid tease.

"That's unfair!" I sulking.

"I'm just joking, of course I let you eat. But you must discipline yourself. Don't let your effort go to trash okey."

"Yes, I know mom." I said.

The dinner had many stories to tell. Mom and Sid can't stop their mouth in reminiscing the past. They both become talkative all of a sudden.

"Ram, do you remember Axel, your first love?" Sid suddenly asked.

"What about him?" I replied not interested.

"I heard he have his own company now."

"Good for him." I just said.

"They currently hiring staff." he announced.

"And so?"

"Why don't you try to apply to his company?"

"Why would I do that?"

"Just saying, what if this is the time you waited. I mean the chance to work on your field. You're doing a part time this past year, what about a regular work this time?"

"As if, I surely hired." I said sarcastic.

"Just try it." Sid encourage.

"What's wrong with you? Why pushing me now? You used to hated that man before remember?"

"That was a long time ago. Beside he asked about you." Sid said smiling.

"I don't believe you."

"Honestly. I accidentally bumped him in Canada. His doing a business there a month ago. He said his apology to me and asking about you." Sid said looking at my reaction. "He still the one right?" he teased.

"It doesn't matter. By this time I'm sure he's already a married man." I said and drink the water in my glass.
