Prakash Sanyal asked continuing the discussion with Rajeev regarding the important decisions to be taken in the next week, seated in Prakash Sir's cabin..."Next week .... we are going to leave on Tuesday .... The meeting is scheduled on Wednesday" Rajeev replied.The completion of the final stage discussions of a business deal with Arkoma , a Germany-based chemical company.."I won't be able to come ... I'm not so fervent now ... you go ahead and finish the final presentation..." Prakash Sir's voice was mixed with an air of fatigue.."Well then, what should we do about the investment of Supreme in Malaysia... The plan is ready.. Wait, I will show you" Rajeev began to open the report on his laptop.."Rajeev, what do you think?" Prakash sir enquired..."I believe that this is the best opportunity to monopolize the pharma sector in Malaysia, Sir" Rajeev replied in a tone of assurance and confidence..."Then, finalize it yourself... I am not keen on seeing any more reports ... All of your previous decisions regarding Supreme's investment in the international industrial sector have been beneficial... Take the decisions by yourself henceforth... Now, give me some time off... You and Shweta can take all the affairs in your hands... It's time for me to retire" Sanyal Sir said, with a light smile of pride glowing on his face..."WHAT?? ... NO WAY ... Not at all , Sir ... Supreme and I will always need your guidance ... Plus, Shweta is currently handling Supreme's East-Asia region very well... Many projects are starting in Singapore and Malaysia" Rajeev spoke appreciatively about Shweta.."Aree, she has now become proficient in the business because of your training ... She no longer has time to leisurely come and meet us .. That day she came and went back immediately .... She has taken the Singapore project much to heart" Sanyal Sir's voice was mingled with happiness and a tinge of worry.."Yes, during the entire dinner she was talking about the project" Rajeev replied honestly...'But was I even paying attention.. What exactly was she talking about?' For a moment, Megha's face flashed before his eyes... The tender look in her direction ... those sneaking glances ... that sweet smile ... those entrancing eyes...Taking a deep breath and shaking his head hurriedly, he tried to remove Megha's thoughts which had suddenly occupied his mind but miserably failed ...'Rajeev , don't think too much about her ... She is married ... I mean i think she is ... but does she have a Mangalsutra around her neck?? ... No!! ... Sitting in the car, she was playing with the chain around her neck... But then again , not everyone wears a Mangalsutra these days .. It is the 21st century after all .... She will surely be married , won't she?? But then, that day , what was she doing with Purab? ... Of course, colleagues can have dinner together .. But then, why is her name Miss. Megha Joshi? Why hasn't she changed it to Mrs. Joshi or Mrs. Someone else?.... Of course, it's her decision whether or not to change name after marriage ... Perhaps she didn't want to change her name... Oh god !! Rajeev , please , get her thoughts out of your mind' He chided himself..."Rajeev" ... "Rajeev" Sanyal sir called him twice ..."Yes sir .. what were you talking about?" Rajeev was abruptly shaken out of his reverie.."Aree , whose thoughts are you lost in? There is such a beautiful smile on your face when you are thinking of Shweta ... To be honest , she is exactly like a storm .... She always leaves the office with a bang ..." The faint smile on Rajeev's face did not escape Sanyal sir's sharp eyes.."No, i was actually thinking about the project" Rajeev replied defensively ... He had actually not been thinking of the storm named Shweta but of a breeze named Megha ...A breeze that had flown through his mind so swiftly as to leave it completely muddled ..."You look tired , Prakash Sir ... Do rest for a while ... As i informed you yesterday, I am starting the process of the takeover of Technosys ... Supreme group will be taking over this company as soon as possible ... In the absence of any further complications , Technosys will merge with Supreme in the next six moths..I will be appointing our usual M&A Consultancy firm JPM for this job ... They will handle all the takeover formalities and Supreme's team will support them as and when needed" Promising this confidently, Rajeev stepped out of Sanyal Sir's cabin..Looking at Rajeev's figure receding out of the cabin, Prakash sir thought, 'He always takes care of me... Although we are not blood related, he loves me like a child... He never takes time off to look after his own health.. Heaven only knows if he at least sits quietly for 5 minutes in the course of the entire day... He stays up working at home till 2 in the night ... Although Supreme Group is now at the forefront, Rajeev's struggle has not yet stopped ... Sometimes i feel as though the colleagues who work with Rajeev don't know him well... Why is everyone so afraid of him ... Albeit he has a strict nature, he has his own reasons ...
