CHAPTER 38: The Powerful Mates

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Everyone, even the rogues feared on what Jang Songmyun has became while Jungkook just growled as he shielded Taehyung behind his back when the male landed.

While Daehyun was just standing there until Jongsuk tackled him down, but everyone was quiet and all was heard was Jang Songmyun-or more specifically the Demon Hound's breathing as he growls at anything he sees.

Taehyung and Jungkook looked at each other and nodded, JK took over control and started making a ball of light, that was also a teleportation spell.

Taehyung looked back at the others and decided to link all of them.

Be careful, all of you! Me and Kookie will be back to finish off this Demon Hound, so while we're gone, finish the job, and let's all go home together! Happy and victorious!

Taehyung says and all of the warriors and his friends and brothers cheered, Taehyung smiled and then Jungkook grabbed his hand as they both ran towards the Demon Hound and all disappeared.

Leaving the warriors to fight the now remaining rogues as Jongsuk has now tied Daehyun up.

Jungkook and Taehyung teleported in an unknown location, and they heard Jang Songmyun growl at them, as he recognized this place.

"YOU IMBECILES!! WHY DID YOU BRING ME HERE?!" He growled and Jungkook remembers what this place is

"This is the Solaresou Scape" Jungkook says and Taehyung looks at him

"What?" He asks

"This is where the Moon Goddess and my ancestor banished the Demon Hound" Jungkook pauses and looks at Taehyung

"And now.. we're going to destroy him" he says and Taehyung just grips his hand

"I'll follow your lead on this one Kookie" Taehyung says

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Me and Tae both looked back at the Demon Hound as he was still panicking to be back in this place.

I looked at Tae and let go of his hand and he looked back at me and got the point, we both nodded at each other and started running different directions towards the Demon Hound.

"Moon blaze" I chanted quietly and a light sparked as I saw Tae is holding a water spear

We both threw it at the same time and saw the Demon Hound get hit as he growled in pain when he got hit, he glared at me and started chanting his own, then he made a dark flame and aimed it at me and threw it.

But luckily Tae flew and took my hand as we both dodged the attack, then he let go and I landed on my feet and started chanting again and this time, a star spark appeared and I threw it as Tae charged towards him with fire katanas.

The Demon Hound was able to dodge the spark but Tae got an advantage and was able to stab his leg and he flew back in the air as the Demon Hound wad about to grab him.

"Solar flare!" I chanted and threw a sun fire at him as Tae did the same

"Flame thrower!" Tae chanted

And we were able to hit him again, which made him weak now, and from what I remember from what mom told me, that my ancestor Gunwoo used 20 hits, and when he becomes weak, only two more hits are needed, but since Tae is powerful, we can do it together.

Pup! We can do 2 more hits and then he'll be gone forever

I linked to to him, and saw him dodge from an attack.

Really?

Yes! But we have to do it together!

I linked and he summoned his wings and flew towards me, and he closed his wings as an attack was aimed at him, but luckily I was there to catch him.

What should we do Kookie?

He asked me.

A bow and arrow might do the trick, but you're going to have to use all of your elements onto the bow while mine at the arrow, can we do that pup?

I said and asked him back, and I felt him hug me.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jungkook, sets Taehyung down and they both looked at each other, and both nodded and Taehyung went in front of Jungkook, as the Demon Hound was confused until he figured it out what they were doing so he started summoning a dark energy, while Jungkook and Taehyung both closed their eyes and then they felt the bow and arrow forming.

Soon they opened their eyes and it glowed the same color and look, and the Demon Hound gasped in horror once he saw those eyes again, but now more powerful.

And without even thinking, he threw the dark energy at Taehyung and Jungkook, but both were able to dodge it and aim the bow and arrow towards the Demon Hound and fire it towards him.

It hit the Demon Hound, and he started roaring in pain as the arrow hit his chest, he soon started disappearing into ashes and smoke and soon exploded.

Taehyung Jungkook stepped away from each other and their eyes went back to normal and they both felt dizzy, Taehyung fainted and Jungkook caught him and teleported them out of there.

Victorious was on the other side as they all defeated the rogues from the Black Blood Pack, Jin and Jimin being carried by their mates, as Chanyeol and Jisung hugged each other, while the warriors cheered and yelled in victory.

Jin, Namjoon, Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi soon ran towards Jungkook with an unconscious Taehyung in his arms and they all cheered for him, Jungkook smiled a small one and felt dizzy until he heard his friends calling his name before darkness surrounded him.

Jungkook soon woke up, back in his old room back here in the Crescent Canine Pack, he got out of his bed and left his room as he tried to find his mate.

He went into the living room and was soon in a tight hug by his mom, Jeon Lily.

"My little bunbun!!" Jeon Lily says and Jungkook laughs as he hugs his mom back

They soon pulled away and Jungkook was now in a hug with his dad, then soon pulled away as Jeon Jungho placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder with a smile on his face.

"My son, I'm glad you're safe" Jungho says

Jungkook also smiles, and looks around and saw his friends and noticed that his mate is missing.

"Looking for your mate Kook?" Hoseok asks and Jungkook nods

And the air suddenly felt gloomy once they know where Jungkook's mate is, and Jungkook sensed that.

"Is he not here?" He asked

"He's here Jungkook, actually, they're going to be staying here now" Jungho says

"Why? Did something happen to their pack?" Jungkook asks as he became worried

"Alpha Gong-yoo has been buried here in our pack, and Taehyung doesn't want to leave because he also wants to be with you" Namjoon says and Jungkook looks at him

"But.. Tae's the future Alpha of his pack! He can't just drop out of the position just to be with me! I'll move out instead and make Namjoon hyung the Alpha of our pack and go be with him!" Jungkook says

Everyone was shock at Jungkook's words, and Jungho and Lily couldn't be more proud of their son for finally being mature, like a real Alpha should do.

They were so busy talking to each other that they didn't notice another presences in the room who just came back from the graveyard along with his mom, Taehyung teared up when Jungkook would drop the position of being Alpha just so he could join him back at Solar Artic Pack, but he finally made his choice and decided to interfere.

"Don't you want me to stay here and be your Luna Kookie?" Taehyung asks

They all looked at the male and Jungkook smiled as he ran up to his mate and hugged him as he nuzzled his head into his mate's fluffy platinum gray hair that smelled like his original scent, lavender and honey.

Taehyung also nuzzled his head into the crook of Jungkook's neck and sniffed his mate's scent of mint and pine, they soon pulled away and Jungkook looked at him.

"Of course I want you to be my Luna, pup, but what about your pack? Who will lead your people?" Jungkook asks him softly

"I talked to an Alpha who knows appa, he also knows that we're mates and asked me on what I should do" Taehyung says as he looks back at Jungkook

"And what did you say pup?" Jungkook asks

"That I'll stay here and be your Luna, as the one who talked to me will be the Alpha of the Lunar Dusk Pack, he's also actually a friend of Jongsuk hyung" Taehyung says

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows when he heard the new name of the once Solar Artic Pack became the Lunar Dusk Pack.

"Why would you allow him to change the name of your pack?" Jungkook asks as Taehyung smiles at him

"Because I thought, you would actually allow for our pack names to combine, as soon as I take your surname" Taehyung says

And Jungkook swears his heart started beating fast again at what Taehyung said that he kissed him in front of his parents, his soon mother-in-law and brother-in-law, and friends who all smiled as they watched the love that is shared between them.

Jungkook and Taehyung soon pulled away from each other and smiled.

"Alright pup, I'll do whatever you say, but.." Jungkook pauses and Taehyung looks at him

"Yes Kookie?" Taehyung asks

"What's the name of the Alpha of the Lunar Dusk Pack?" Jungkook asks

"Jaehyun.. Choi Jaehyun" Taehyung says and Jungkook was shock

"The one with the IQ level of 169?" Jungkook asks and Taehyung nods

"Then that pack will be in good hands" Jungkook says as he hugs Taehyung again

Then soon, he remembered something and pulled away from Taehyung and ran upstairs to get something, while Taehyung just stood there, confused and pouted as he missed his mate's warmth.

Then soon, Jungkook came back down, panting, and holding something behind his back.

"Kookie, what did you d-"

"Taehyung, can I please say something?" Jungkook asks and Taehyung nods

"When we first met, it wasn't what all mates do, that jump on each other and sniff each other's scents, we were more on going at each other's necks because of the whole sleeping with other wolves" Jungkook starts and everyone laughs at him

"But, when me and the others stayed at the Solar Artic Pack, I became jealous of whoever comes close to you and clings to you, like what happened with Lisa, and then.. when you showed me your burnt mark bruises, I felt awful, as I'm the worst mate every yet you let me prove myself to you.. we became one after our date, you let me love you as I let you love me, I get to find out the real you, and even after everything that happened, we're still together as one, as powerful mates" Jungkook says and Taehyung was now crying

Jungkook lets go of his hand and Taehyung's eyes widen as he cried more, as he looked at Jungkook, who knelt down on one knee as he opened a velvet box that has gold ring with a diamond on it and with a smile on hid face as he teared up as well.

"Kim Taehyung, will you become my Luna and make me the happiest true blood in the Wolfen World and marry me?" Jungkook asks

Taehyung shakes as he sobs but he nods his head as a yes and Jungkook smiled his bunny smile as he slipped the ring onto Taehyung's finger and kissed him.

While everyone all teared up as they witnessed Jungkook's proposal and all cheered for the engaged couple.
