Chapter 79

Sanem was now seven months pregnant, and she's definitely starting to feel it.

Today was the McKinnon launch, Can and Sanem, decided to send everyone home after lunch so they can get ready for tonight.

SANEM: "Can, I need to find a dress for tonight nothing fits."

CAN: "okay bebek, let's go together, give me five minutes and we're on our way."

Sanem sat on the couch and put her feet up to rest a couple of minutes, Can is smiling looking at Sanem, he could see how the pregnancy is making her tired and uncomfortable. He goes over and sits at her feet and starts rubbing her feet.

SANEM: "that feels so good Can, thank you."

CAN: "anytime bebek, are you ready to go?"

SANEM: "yes, let's see if I find anything, I'm so big." Can looks at her and smiles "

CAN: my love, you look beautiful, and our girls are going to have the most beautiful mommy."

She kisses him.

SANEM: "and the most handsome and best baba in the world. Thank you Can for trying to make me feel better. I know I've been miserable lately. (She starts tearing) I'm sorry."

CAN: "Bebek, you're perfect, please don't cry, come let's go, we'll eat lunch and get you a beautiful dress to wear." He starts helping her up and Leyla and Emre come into Can's office as they are leaving.

LEYLA: "we're going to lunch and then dress shopping do you want to come with me Sanem."

SANEM: "how about if we all go to lunch together, and then Leyla and I go dress shopping together and you guys can wait at the cafe by the water."

They all agreed. They had lunch together and Sanem and Leyla went dress shopping. Leyla found a dress easy, she's hardly even showing, but Sanem was having a hard time.

LEYLA: "Sanem, you're just being picky"

SANEM: "I just want to look nice Leyla, I feel so fat and swollen, I want to look nice for Can." And she starts tearing. Leyla hugs her.

LEYLA: "Sanem Can loves you so much, you can wear jeans and a t shirt he wouldn't care." She starts giggling

SANEM: "if only they would fit, I probably be much more comfortable in jeans and a t shirt."

They shopped for a little while longer. Sanem found the perfect dress.

LEYLA: " Sanem that dress is perfect on you, and the color. It brings out your dark skin tones. Can is going to love it, you know for a pregnant woman you look very sexy in that dress."

SANEM: "like you in yours, that baby blue strapless makes you look just as sexy, pregnancy becomes you Abla."

LEYLA: " You too sister, come let's go find the guys and go home and get ready."

Can was ready and waiting passionately for Sanem to get ready. Aziz came by with Miriban and told them he would meet them there.

CAN: "bebek are you almost ready ?"

SANEM: be out in a minute"okay Can Divit, I hope you like this dress, even though I look like I'm about to pop. Sanem opens the door and comes out looking beautiful as always,

Can just stared at her and smiled, he kissed both of her hands and then hugs her and started nibbling on her neck.

CAN; bebek, pregnancy becomes you, you look beautiful, you always manage to take my breath away you look stunning." She had tears in her eyes.

SANEM: "really Can, I don't look fat.? I want to look nice for you."

CAN: " bebek, you look hot, but then again you always manage to take my breath away, you could wear a pair of jeans and a t shirt and still manage to make me hot."

He turns her around and looks at her behind. " and that ass of yours is making me hot right now."

He hugs her tightly and starts caressing her back and butt. He's kissing her neck. He looks at her and says "

Sanem, don't tell me you don't have underwear on again, how many times do I have to tell you I don't want you going without underwear on. Guys are going to be looking at your hot ass." Sanem kisses him passionately and changes the subject.

SANEM: you know Can, you look so handsome tonight. You are making me hot, if it wasn't for the McKinnon's I would definitely be staying home and making love to you."

Can smiles, and says " thanks princess, nice save, trying to change the subject. I still don't like the fact that you have no underwear on"

SANEM: " Actually I do , it's a thong okay, a very thin one, do you Want me to show you?" She starts pulling up her dress and he grabs her hand.

CAN: "I would love for you to show me, but if you show me now we won't make it to the launch."

He kiss her roughly and gives her little bites on her neck. "Tonight, when we get home you can show me."

SANEM: "whatever you say my love."

They got to the launch, it was crowded but a beautiful venue with music. Can and Sanem were mingling with the guests,  Can went to grab a drink at the bar.

LEYLA: "Sanem, look who is staring at you, Ceyda. Ah and here she comes."

CEYDA: "Sanem, how nice to see you. All of you."

And she smiles sarcastically."

SANEM: "yes, Ceyda nice to see you too."

CEYDA: "so I see you got married, you snagged Can, he's a good man you must of been pregnant and he had to marry you." Sanem feels Can behind her and he wraps his arms around her stomach."

CAN: "actually Ceyda she wasn't pregnant when we got married, but we loved making this baby together. Right my love." And he kisses her shoulder.

SANEM: "yes, Ceyda, every night with Can is very passionate.!" Ceyda looks at them and walks away. They both start laughing.

CAN: I guess we told her."

SANEM: "that we did my hunky husband."

Sanem and Leyla sat down for a while because their feet were hurting.

And Can and Emre went to get a drink at the bar.

EMRE: "well brother the launch went well don't you think?"

CAN: " the McKinnons seemed pleased" can heard his named called "Can Divit, it's so nice to see you again?" She goes up and kisses him close to his lips . He looks at her and did a double take.

CAN: Alara is that you? I can't believe it, how are you! It must be like five years since I saw you last. Emre, this is Alara we worked together for six months in the Balkins."

EMRE: "very nice to meet you, it must of been hard working for a perfectionist, especially when it comes to his photography." She looks at Can and smiles and fixes his collar with both hands.

ALARA: "Actually it wasn't that bad, we got a long very well, right Can." Of course Emre and Can didn't pick up on the way she said it. But Alara remembers Can very well.  They were together for the most part of the assignment, and a couple for like one months.

And she seems very interested again.

CAN: "so how did you end up here, do you know the McKinnon's?"

ALARA: " actually I'm friends with their daughter."

CAN: "that's nice, what a coincidence."

She's just looking at him, he's even more handsome than he was five years ago

Sanem and Leyla are watching Can and Emre at the bar, and they see this beautiful brunette walk up to Can and kiss him very close to his mouth.

SANEM: "who is that, she's a little too cozy up against Can, look how close she's standing  next him."

LEYLA: "I don't know, but she looks kind of clingy."

SANEM: "that she does, I think it's time we go up and go to the bar"

Someone started talking to Emre and Can and Alara were talking about old times and people they worked with. She was standing very close to him and touching his arm.

ALARA: "Can, I have to tell you, I think of you often, we were good together weren't we, I miss you and our relationship and our nights together. I tried to reach out to you, but you were nowhere to be found."

Sanem heard her, what the hell they were a couple! And it sounds like they were sleeping partners!

CAN: "You know my job kept me busy, I loved to travel but now  I'm working with my father and brother at my father's company."

ALARA: "Can" (And she rubs his arm) I thought maybe we can start were we left off, if you want I'm staying at a hotel in the city" Can, looked at her with no emotion, he knew that she had feelings for him back then and  he thought at one time maybe he would eventually have feelings for her , but the more time he spent with her the more he new that he couldn't feel what she did.  The relationship thing was not for him, And he told her that when they broke up and he left.  Only Sanem made me feel things I thought I could never feel. My love. There is no one else like her, my other half.

CAN: "Actually Alara," and Sanem walks up to Can and takes his hand. She heard everything and she wasn't happy. "This is my beautiful wife, and we're having a baby." She was shocked, she couldn't believe it, she looked at Sanem and smiled, but you can see that she wasn't happy Can was married. Can pulls Sanem close and hugs her tightly and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

Alara is just staring at her, she is very pretty, but doesn't look like Can's type but for a pregnant woman she looks very pretty and sexy.

SANEM: nice to meet you, I'm Sanem."

ALRA: "oh yes, nice to meet you too, I'm Alara, Can and I worked very closely together for six months in the Balkins about five years ago" and she winks at Can.

Can just looked away and cleared his throat.

CAN: "well it was nice seeing you, enjoy your stay in the city."

ALARA: "I'll be here for a while maybe we can get together and talk about old times." Can is not happy right now.

CAN; "sorry but I'm very busy with work, and preparing for the birth of our baby." Can takes Sanem's  hand and kisses it. " come Sanem

lets dance and they walk away. Alara was staring at Sanem, how come he can fall in love with her and he never loved me. Maybe if I remind him of what we had he might think about coming back to me.

Sanem and Can are dancing, but Can feels Sanem's tension. Can holds her close and starts caressing her back and kisses her neck. But she's not talking, he can tell that she's just being affectionate because of Alara

The rest of the night Can stayed by Sanem's side holding her hand or keeping his arm around her waste.

But he constantly felt her stiffen, damn what were the chances of an old girlfriend showing up here at the launch. Old girlfriend that's it, nothing more I didn't love her.

Can and Sanem left the launch, but Sanem was very quiet, she didn't want to talk to Can right now because if she says anything she will blow up on him. They walk into the house, Can grabs Sanem and brings her close and tries to kiss her.

SANEM: " not happening, I'm very tired I'm going to bed!"

CAN: " Sanem, let's talk, please, I know you have questions, so let's sit down and talk."

Sanem just looked at him put her hands on her hips and looks him straight in the eyes.

SANEM: "I don't think so, maybe you should have went to the hotel with your ex girlfriend!! and she walks away. He goes to grab her and she pulls her arm away.

CAN: " Sanem, please talk to me, don't be upset, I wasn't a saint before I met you, you knew that."

SANEM: "oh I know, but you sat there talking to her like you were still a couple, while I sat there and watched. You could have told her from the beginning that you were married, you didn't put a stop to it when she was talking about your relationship and your nights together. They must of been hot for you not to put a stop to it, it's nice reminiscing with old girlfriends isn't it Can, especially while your wife is watching!!"

CAN; Sanem, stop it, I didn't even hear her say that, I'm sorry, really, even if she was a girlfriend, I never had feelings for her like I did with you, please Sanem don't be angry, you know I love you."

SANEM; "good night Can!" And she walks away.

I really wasn't listening to what Alara was saying, but Sanem was. I can't believe this.

CAN: " Sanem, I really didn't pick up on what she was saying." Sanem opens the door.

SANEM: "really Can, she's talking to you like she's your lover , she's fixing your collar and rubbing your arm, you didn't notice and she was glued to your side, did you see the way she looked at me when you told her I was your wife!! Damn I wish I had a lot of boyfriends before you!! And she shuts the door again.

Can is thinking thank god she didn't, because those guys wouldn't have made it within five feet of her . He talked to her through the door.

CAN:"Sanem, think what you want, but I love you and you know it. I will let you rest because you need it. I love you and only you. And that my princess will never change. You and my girls are my number one priority. I love all three of you with my heart and soul I would give my life for the three of you. Good night princess, sweet dreams."
