Chapter Eight: What Now?

“So am I allowed back into the pack now?” Bianca asked her father as they sat and talked while Brody was outside making some phone calls to arrange for them both to be moved up to Third Year status at school.

“I wish it were that simple baby girl mated to the prince or not there are still laws that we have to abide by so until we get this all figured out I think its best we keep things the way they have been but trust me if I have it my way you will resume your status one day.” Her father said hugging her.

“Thank you daddy I have missed you so much and I will be patiently awaiting my return to society as your daughter knowing that you never stopped loving me. Who knows maybe one day you’ll even get to meet your granddaughter.” Bianca smiled as she pulled out a picture of Hope to show him.

“I’m so glad you understand and oh my goodness she has really gotten big we have missed so much of her life she doesn’t even know we exist.” He said sadly. “Actually I have told her about you and mom numerous times but I won’t lie she has been calling Mr. and Mrs. Daniels nana and papa since she started talking.” Bianca said not sure how her father would react.

“Even though it hurts to hear that I am thankful that she has grandparents who are smart and loving. I assume they took you in as their own as well?” he questioned. “Yes they did and I love them so much they have helped Hope and me so much throughout the hardest time in my life.” Bianca replied tearing up.

“Is everything ok?” Brody asked bursting through the front door. “Yea just having a heart to heart with my dad so my emotions are all over the place I’m sorry.” Bianca replied smiling up at him putting him and his wolf at ease.

“Ok I just wanted to make sure because my wolf was going crazy reacting to your emotions.” He smiled lightly kissing her forehead. “Its going to take me awhile to get used to this whole mate thing I mean I’ve never shared anything with another and now being able to sense each other’s feelings and everything else is going to be intense.

Bianca admitted as she rubbed the back of Brody’s hand.

“Yes and once we have completed the mating things will be even more intense because not only will we share emotions but we will be able to communicate without even speaking out loud.” Brody smiled at the thought of them being fully mated.

“That will just be trippy.” Bianca laughed trying her best to hide how nervous the thought of being fully mated to him made her. Even Brody could sense her nervousness he brushed it off knowing that he was going to take his time with Bianca and do everything the proper way ensuring her trust.

“I hate to run you guys off but I have a pack meeting I need to get to before too long and I need to finish going over all my notes for tonight’s meeting.” Mr. Stone said standing up. “Its ok daddy I understand we need to get back to school anyways.” Bianca said hugging her father once more.

“I don’t want to let you go now that I have you back.” Mr. Stone said as he squeezed her tighter. “I know daddy but you never lost me just temporarily misplaced me.” Bianca replied kissing him on the cheek.

“Thank you again your highness you’ll never know how much I appreciate you accepting my daughter and for you brining her here to save her life.” Mr. Stone said shaking his hand then pulling him into a hug.

“Trust me sir I am forever grateful to you for helping save her life giving her and I a chance at true happiness.” Brody smiled taking Bianca’s hand in his. Bianca returned his smile as they walked out to his car.

“Ugh I don’t want to go back to school not after the lovely display that just happened a couple hours ago.” Bianca pouted. “Don’t worry baby we aren’t going back to school tonight in fact we don’t have to go back until they get our paperwork ready for us to move up to Third Year’s.” he smiled sensing the pure joy she was feeling.

“Are you serious, I don’t have to go back as a Second Year anymore?” she asked overly excited. “Yes I am not only that people are going to start treating you with the respect you deserve or they will answer to me.” He growled as he thought back to the way people had been treating her.

“I am really going to enjoy being mated to you but one question why didn’t you tell me you were royalty when we first met I mean I knew you weren’t a normal wolf but never would have thought you were royal.” She said as they headed out of town.

“I wasn’t supposed to let anyone know I was here but after last night at the club it became more than known that the royal family was here in Deadwood.” He replied taking her hand in his.

“Thank you for getting Sara and I out of there last night before everything went down.” She smiled up at him. “I knew I had to protect you when I saw you were there then you kissed me only awakening my urge to get you out which you did on your own causing my wolf and I to be at ease knowing you were safe.” He replied as he was heading towards Equality.

“Where are we going?” she asked as he continued driving into town. “I was hoping you wouldn’t mind me coming to your house to spend some alone time with you.” He said hoping she wouldn’t care.

“I guess that’s ok but my house is a bit of a mess from rushing around today.” She said biting her lip which drove Brody crazy he wanted to pull over and finish their mating right then and there.

“I’m not there to inspect or anything I just want to spend time with my woman.” He grinned as he readjusted himself. He knew it was going to be hard to fight the urge to mate with her right away but he also knew that it was crucial he go about things in way that let Bianca know she could trust him along with preparing her for the life of a royal mate.

Bianca was a little nervous because she could sense his arousal and then him fighting his wolf’s urges to claim her wolf as his but she couldn’t deny that she was fighting her wolf at the same time not because she didn’t want to complete the mating transition with Brody but because she was afraid once they were fully mated something bad would happen leaving her broken.

So she wanted to take things slow with him finding out just how serious he is about being mated to her and whether or not he will accept Hope along with her. “Wait we can’t go to my house I have to go get Hope and my car from the Daniels house.” Bianca blurted out not really thinking about it.

“Ok then we will go there first pick her up and I will follow you in your car to your house.” He said turning to head towards the Daniels. “Are you sure you’re ready to meet my daughter?” Bianca asked skeptical.

“Of course I am, not only have I heard tons about her at work but she is yours and now that you are mine that makes her mine in a round about way.” He said hoping he made sense. Bianca just stared at him not sure what to say.

Thankful they had pulled up to the Daniels’ house Bianca hopped out and went inside to get Hope. “B why aren’t you in school did something happen?” Tanya asked. “Yeah something happened alright but I can’t go back until they get my paperwork ready to move me up to a Third Year.” Bianca beamed.

“Wait does that mean you found your mate?” she asked excitedly. “Yes I did and it’s funny he’s been right under my nose for awhile now.” Bianca laughed. “It’s Brody isn’t it?” Tanya asked hugging her.

“Yep sure is crazy huh? My mate is the prince of the royal family.” Bianca said out loud for the first time. “Oh my god, I am so happy for you honey.” Tanya said squeezing Bianca to her again.

“Thank you so much I’m still processing everything I haven’t even told Sara yet she is probably freaking out since I had to leave school early.” Bianca said realizing that she needed to call her to let her know she was alright.

“I tell you what why don’t you leave Hope here for the night and you go get cozy with that mate of yours because I’m sure your wolves are dying to claim each other.” She said knowingly.

“I know mine is and pretty sure his is too but I’m scared what if we complete the mating only for him and his family to reject Hope that would tear me apart.” Bianca said letting her fear show.

“Trust me if he accept you already then I am sure he will accept Hope if he hasn’t already.” She said hugging her again. About that time they heard a knock at the door. “Oh no I bet that’s him checking that I am ok, I forget he can feel what I feel.” Bianca said answering the door.

“Are you ok?” he asked pulling her to him. “Yes I’m fine sorry why don’t you come in so I can introduce you to Sara’s parents?” Bianca said taking his hand. “I think you mean your parents?” Tanya corrected. “Sorry mother.” Bianca laughed.

“It is so nice to finally meet you we have heard so much about you since the day you started working with B.” she said hugging him. “Oh really, all good I hope.” Brody smiled. “Of course I had a feeling that you may just be the one for our Bianca.” She teased as they walked into the living room where Hope was snuggled up on the couch with Mr. Daniels watching a movie.
