Trubbish Marks

Your POV:

Ahhhh, it's a wonderful day outside. Ponies were mingling at the stores. I was currently doing what I should've really been doing. Being the towns protector.... Which I gave myself that title, unofficially and no one can take that title away. I was on the balcony of the library as I look down at the town keeping watch in case of any trouble.

"Would you please get off the balcony! Ponies are starting to talk!" I heard Twilight call out from inside. "Fine...." I said in annoyance.

Time skip

"Ok..... I'm sure looking at eye level for trouble can also work." I said as I was in the market. I was waking through the market making sure that the town is safe..... "This is sooooo boring...." I groaned in boredom. "This town is too peaceful." I said as I stopped in the middle of the street. This was proven to be a bad idea as I was knocked to the sky by three fast moving objects and I hit the ground on my back.

"Ooowwwww...." I said as I was slowly getting back up. "Sorry (y/n), we didn't mean to bump into you." I heard familiar voice which I looked to see Applebloom with her friends.

"It's fine, that was probably the most exciting thing that has happened today." I said "so what are you doing in the marketplace?" Sweetie belle asked me. "Well, you girls know that I am kinda the towns protector?" "No." "Not really." "Applejack said you gave yourself that job to avoid having a real job." They all said. "Ok, I guess I haven't been doing this a lot when I should to. Also I do have a real job. You can tell Applejack that I work at the library with Twilight." I told them.

"Well I hope you find something to do. We are going to be getting our Cutie Marks!" "Cutie Mark Crusaders forest explorers!" They all yelled which I had to cover my ears as I watched them head off. "Oooowwww.... Boy are they excited." I said as I went back to keeping the town safe..... Maybe I should rethink this protector thing.

Timeskip

Applebloom POV:

"So are we really gonna explore the everfree forest?" I asked in worry. "Well it is the only forest that is near." Scootaloo answered as we were standing outside the forest. "But my sister said it is a dangerous place and it is filled with creatures that are very dangerous." Sweetie said. "Well.... Where can we explore a forest?" Scootaloo asks.

"How about we get our cutie marks in forest explorers in sweet apple acres." I suggested as we then heard some rustling from the forest. "Somethings in the bushes." I said in worry as the bush was rustling even more. As the we were backing away from the bush a very strange looking creature appears from the bush.

"Trubb!" The creature said with a smile. "That doesn't look dangerous." Sweetie said in confusion. "It kinda looks like something from Manehattan?" Scootaloo said in confusion.

Your POV:

I was now at the town center sitting by the fountain. "I'm soooooo bored." I said as I was leaning back my head. "I wish something can happen!" I yelled as I saw a gray Pegasus crashing to a lamp post and her mail bag flew towards the fountain where I was at and I quickly jumped to the air and I caught the bag. I was about to hit the water but I used my hind hooves to fire a hydro pump away from the fountain.

I landed on the ground and hit a building, luckily it wasn't hard enough to go threw it. "Owww." I said as the grey mare with yellow mane came up to me. "Thank you for saving the mailbag." She said as I looked up. "Don't mention it." I said as I hand her the bag. "Hey, aren't you the mare/stallion that saved me from the imp?" The mare asked as I looked at her and notice the small scar from the mare that was attacked from the Morgrem.

"Oh, it's you and Yeah... that was me." I said as I got up. "Well thank you. You saved me twice." She said. "It's no problem. After all I am the towns protector." I said with a proud smile. "Really? I don't remember hearing about that?" She said in confusion. "It's.... Kinda unofficial." I admitted which she giggled. "Well, even if you are unofficial, I'm glad that you are around." She said.

"Thank you miss... umm?" "Oh, my name is Ditzy Doo. But most ponies calm me Derpy hooves." She said. "Well it's nice to meet you Ditzy. My name is (y/n) and I hope we can be friends." I said. "Me two." She said as she was getting her bag ready. "I better deliver this mail. We should meet up again sometime later." She said. "Sounds like a plan." I said as she flew away nearly hitting another lamppost.

Scootaloo POV:

The three of us had brought the creature to a barn in Sweet apple acres we watch it play around the barn. "So what you girls think this creature is supposed to be?" I asked. "It looks like a trash bag that developed eyes and a mouth." Sweetie said. "It certainly is a unique looking creature that I have ever saw." Applebloom said. "At least its friendly.... Despite the smell." I said as the creature was jumping on a couple of hay bales.

"Applebloom? Are you and your friends in there?! I heard from ponies in the marketplace that you were heading to the everfree and I was hoping that-" We Applejack yell out as she came in the barn only to start gagging from the smell. "Ugh!!! What in tarnation is that smell!?!" She yelled as she was now coughing. "It smells like something had died in here." She said as she looks to see the creature was coming towards her.

"What in tarnation is that!?" Applejack said in surprise as the creature jumped to her and hugged her which caused AJ to turn green. "Well now I know what's causing the smell." She said as the creature let go and AJ was trying to not barf. "Ok... I'm gonna assume that you found this creature in the forest." She said.

"It's more like it found us outside of the forest." Applebloom explained. "Well, I'm glad that you at least didn't go into to the forest but you still shouldn't have brought this..... umm.... Sentient.... Trash bag? .....Ok what exactly is that thing." Applejack said. "That's what we're trying to figure out." I said. "Well if it came from the Everfree there's a good chance that (y/n) would know. He/she's identified creatures that keeps coming from there." AJ suggested.

"That's a good idea sis! Let's go crusader." Applebloom said as we were now on our way to find (y/n). "Hey! Don't forget the creature!" We heard Applejack called out as we return to bring the creature with us.

No POV:

Edge of the Everfree

"GAAARRRR!!!!

Your POV:

I was walking through the peaceful streets of Ponyville and I was about ready to head back to the library. "I wish I was in a Pokémon only world. Then I wouldn't be so bored." I said in frustration as I then heard a Yelp coming from a gardening shop. "What's this. A cry fro help." I said I. Happiness as I went into the shop and I said. "Never fear because I am here to help!"

"Well the can you help me get up hero!" I heard annoyed voice coming from the ground as I saw a green mare with a striped sweater on the floor and she looked annoyed.

"Sorry." I said in embarrassment as I helped her up. "Uh Huh." She said as she walks to the plant that was on the ground next to a broken pot. "Ugh! I can't believe that pony put you on the top shelf and away from the sun." She said as she picks up the plant from broken glass and tries to keep the dirt in its roots. I then looked for a empty pot and once I found one I brought it to her.

"Thanks." She grumbled as she put the plant into the new pot and was putting in some dirt in it with as well. "I think that would have to do." She said as she places the plant on a table next to sunlight. "Do you need me to water it?" I asked. "No." She said as she walked to the back and brought a broom and a bucket. "I do need you to clean this so I can water the other plants and make sure that no pony else thought it was a good idea to put plants in places where there shouldn't be." She said as she hands me the broom. "And I thought I wouldn't have to do this if I wasn't at the library." I thought as I was now cleaning up the mess that I didn't do, but I didn't exactly have anything else to do.

Sweetie belle POV:

We have been looking for (y/n) for an while but we couldn't find him/her anywhere around Ponyville, so we figured he/she went back to golden oak library so we decided to head there. When we went in we immediately heard Twilight yelling. "Spike!! What is that smell!?!! Ugh!! It smells like-" before Twilight finished her sentence she saw us by the front door. "Oh hey girls!?" She nervously and quickly. "When did you get here... hehe.... And by any chance do you three smell anything?" She asked us.

"It's probably from trubby." I answered. "Trubby?" Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Twillight both said in confusion. "It's the name I thought of for him. He kept saying trub so I thought it would fit." I said as the other crusaders both said "Ooohhhh." While twilight then jumped back when she saw Trubby twilling out. "What is that!?!"

Pinkie POV:

It is another beautiful day here at Sugarcube Corner. Seeing all those happy smiles coming from ponies faces are just the best as I gave them their orders. "Hello! How may I-" I then stopped my sentence when I smelled something that is just horrible. "Ugh!! Who cut the cheese?" I asked as I was trying to cover my nose and so were other ponies as we then heard a angry roar. "GAAAARRRR!!!!"

Your POV:

"Good thing nothing was wrong." I said as I exited the gardening store. "Although I can't seem to recall what the pony who works there looks like? Or what was that scream.... Was there a scream? ....ahh, It's probably not important." I thought as I was walking through the street until I heard a explosion near Sugarcube Corner. "Finally! My first protector mission has arrived!" I said as I ran to the source of the explosion.

Twilight POV:

"Fascinating." I said as I was studying the creature as it was coloring with the crayons and paper that I gave it. "He is truly fascinating. I have never seen a creature like Trubby in my life." I said as the CMC were sitting next to the creature also coloring. "So you think (y/n) will be able to tell us what Trubby is?" Applebloom asks. "It's possible." I said as I was drawing sketches of the creature on my notebook.

"I'm glad that you brought it here. Because I doubt ponies would appreciate smelling Trubby whenever he walks around town." I told them as I was wearing a close-pin. "Your telling me!" Spike said as he was also wearing a nose pin and he was standing on the stairs. "I mean, how can you three stand it's smell!?" Spike asks them.

"That is a good question? ....maybe it doesn't smell to ponies it trusts?" I said "Or we're just used to it." Scootaloo said. "That's also a theory." I said as I wrote that down until we heard a loud explosion coming from outside. "What was that?!" Spike and the CMC yelled out and Trubby let out a startled cry and it's stench became stronger.

"Ughh!?!?!" We all flinched from the smell. "Well! It looks like when Trubby gets scared he releases a stronger stench. This must be a defense mechanism to ward of predators.... Or something." I said as I was trying to cover my nose. "These pins are useless!" Spike yells as he was on the ground. The cmc were trying to calm Trubby as I was trying to open the door. "Spike..... uhhh.... Can one of you girls get the windows open and leave this door open. I'm gonna figure out what made that noise." I said as I walked out of the library to figure out what caused the explosion.

No POV:

"Gaaaarrrbbbbboooooddoooorrrrr!!!!"

A a very angry roar came from the streets which came from a Garbodor. It fires a acid spray at a building which causes the wall to the building to melt. It keeps firing it as ponies are running away in fear and from its horrible stench. In the sky Rainbow sees the creature attacking. "Oh no you don't!" She yelled as she charges to the creature but after one Whiff from the stench caused her start gagging and crash into Sugarcube corner.

"Urk!! Gaaahhhh!!!" She yelled as she was trying not to vomit. "Alright you big meanie!! Prepare for cupcake justice!!" Pinkie yelled from inside the corner as she starts throwing the cupcakes at the garbodor which wasn't proving to work as it ate some of them. The garbodor then released a powerful belch attack at her which launched her to the back of the kitchen and the sounds of gagging and vomiting were heard inside the kitchen.

"Take this!" A yell was made as (y/n) jumps from a building and fires a barrage of bubbles at the garbodor. The garbodor flinches a tiny bit from the attack until it returns the favor by firing a slude bomb at the Keldeo launching to a wall. He/she gets up as he/she fires a hydro pump at it launching to another wall.

"Garrrr!!! It roared in fury as it fires a purple gas at the young Keldeo who starts coughing. "Ugh!! That is foul!!" He/she yelled as he/she flinches in pain. "Oh man, that was poison gas." He/she said As Twilight came up to (y/n) and when she took one sniff she started gagging. "Gahhh!! That stench is stranger then I have ever smelled today!" She yelled.

"Yeah... ow! That would be from the garbodor. Ow!! The trash heap poke- Oww!!!" He/she yelled. "Are you ok?" She asked him/her. "Yeah... I was just- Oww!!! Hit by a poison gaAAAASSS!!!" (Y/n) yelled as he starts vomiting. "Gaaarrrr!!!" the garbodor yelled as it starts firing acid spray at buildings. "That thing is angry. I wonder why?" Twilight said as she thought. "Who knows!? Gahhh!!! Maybe someone hurt it.... Ooooo..... Simone took its kid..... owww.... Or thecpuodve even just made fun of it.... Oh man I am gonna be in bed for weeks...." (Y/n) said.

"Hmmm..." twilight hummed until she then thought of something. "Wait? Does Garbodor have a pre evolution?" Twilight asked. "Yeah.... It'll be trubbish...." "Trubby..." Twilight said as she ran off. "Wait?! Where you going? And what's a Trubby? Ooohhh this poison gas effect is just horrible." He/she said as he/she passed out.

Twilight POV:

I arrived at the library to see the cmc had calmed down Trubby. "Girls!" I yelled which spooked them. "Is everything alright?" Sweetie asked in worry. "It will be once we return Trubby back to his parent. His mom or dad is causing destruction looking for the little guy." I told them. "And you three are going to return apologize." I told them.

Time skip

"We're sorry." They said as the Trubbish was hugging its mom or dad.... I can't tell to be honest and they only one who could is passed out. "We didn't mean to take him. He just kinda followed us at first" Scootaloo said. "We didn't hurt him. And we had fun coloring with him." Sweetie said. "Gar." "Trub trub!" Trubby was talking to his.... What gender is that garbodor. "The Garbodor relaxed and it spoke what I can guess is that it forgives them. "Boy, times like this I kinda wish there was a way I can communicate with the Pokémon. And (y/n) is certainly not going to do that job."

Trubby then walked to the cmc and gave them a hug as they returned the favor. "We'll miss you Trubby!" They said as they release from their hug and the two Pokémon went on their way back home. "Do you think we'll see Trubby again Twilight?" Applebloom asked me. "They live in the Everfree so I'm gonna say that there's a chance that you will. But please promise you will get the garbodor's permission before bringing Trubby here. I don't think Ponyville can handle another stink attack." I said as they all nodded in understanding.

"So is anypony gonna help him/her or..." Scootaloo asks as she motions to (y/n) who was on the ground. "Oh! Hehe... I should probably take him/her to the hospital to see what they can do for him/her." I said as I picked him/her up and went to the hospital. Hopefully the doctors would know how to heal him/her.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I was kinda wanting to see how I can do a chapter that wasn't based on a ep from the show. I think I did ok and I hope you like the little tease of a future story idea that'll come around in a future season one day.

I just saw the trailer for the movie Sonic the hedgehog 2 and the game trailer for Sonic Frontier. Finally I saw the new husien form for Voltorb and it looks adorable. It's kinda cool that they gave it a wooden look and it just so simple that it works. Also the sonic trailers were awesome and I can't wait for them to come out.
