Ticket Master

(Y/n) POV:

It had been a few days since Nightmare Moon and I had told my new friends that I was human and what those creatures are, including me. They were a bit shocked at first but after the while they got used to what I had told them. After that I have been living at the library with Twilight and Spike and I started working as the towns protector..... well, Unofficially, that is.... I gave myself that job.

But I made sure the town is safe from danger and I get to train myself so that I could learn to use my moves properly and so I can finally learn how to use Secret Sword. Currently me, Twilight, and Spike were helping Applejack at her farm.

"Thank you kindly, Twilight, (y/n),  for helping me out. I bet Big McIntosh I could get all these Golden Delicious in the barn by lunchtime. If I win, he's gonna walk down Stirrup Street in one of Granny's girdles. " applejack said as I laughed at the thought. "Your welcome and again.... I'm sorry about kicking down one of your trees."

I said as I motioned to a broken down apple tree. "It's alright, (y/n), you just didn't know your own strength." She said to me. "Yeah, but it certainly showed how strong my back hooves are." I said as I was carrying some baskets. "I'm just glad that the goal is lunchtime. All this hard work is making me hungry." Twilight said

"I know, right?" Spike said as he was checking the apples. "Puh-lease, Spike. You've been lounging on my back all morning while we worked." Twilight told him. "Exactly. You three are taking so long, I missed snack-time." He said as me and Twilights stomach growled in hunger.

"Eh, I guess we better get some food." Twilight said as she laughed nervously. "That might be a good idea." I said in agreement as Spike pulled out one delicious looking apple. "Oh Spike, that looks delicious!" "Indeed!" Me and Twilight both said as Spike then ate the apple. "Spike." Me and Twilight said annoyance. "What?" He said in confusion as he burped and a piece paper appears.

"Dragons can burp up paper!?" I yelled in surprise. "Actually its a letter that princess Celestia sends via magic which Spike can use his magic to send her letters and receive letters from her." Twilight explained to me as spike opens the letter and begins to read it.

"Hear ye, hear ye. Her Grand Royal Highness, Princess Celestia of Equestria, is pleased to announce the Grand Galloping Gala to be held in the magnificent capital city of Canterlot, on the 21st day of, eh, yadda yadda yadda, cordially extends an invitation to Twilight Sparkle plus one guest." "The Grand Galloping Gala!" Twilight and Applejack yelled a delighted surprise. "What's so special about this Gala?" I asked as they were cheering about going to this Gala.

"The Grand Galloping Gala is held every year and it is said that it is the most extravagant party in Equestria. Everypony wants to go." Twilight said. "Except for me. I don't want any of that girly frilly frou-frou nonsense." Spike said in frustration. "Aw, come on Spike. A dance would be nice." Twilight told him.

"Nice? It's a heap good more than just nice. I'd love to go. Land sakes..." applejack said as she pauses and then she begins. "If I had an apple stand set up, ponies would be chowin' our tasty vittles 'til the cows came home. Do you have any idea how much business I could drum up for Sweet Apple Acres? Why, with all that money, we could do a heap of fixin' up 'round here. We could replace that saggy old roof, and Big McIntosh could replace that saggy old plow, and Granny Smith could replace that saggy old hip." She told us what she would do if she went. "Why, I'd give my left hind leg to go to that gala."

"Maybe you should-" I was fixing to say to Twilight until we heard. "Whoa!" A light blue Pegasus crashed down on the ground which was Rainbow dash. "Are we talking about the Grand Galloping Gala?" She asked as she got up. "Rainbow Dash. You told me you were too busy to help me harvest apples. What were you busy doing? Spyin'?" Applejack asked in suspicion.

"No, I was busy napping, " rainbow said as she motions to the cloud that had a pillow on it. "Now I'm kinda curious about how sleeping on a cloud would feel like?" I asked myself as Rainbow continues. "and I just happened to hear that you have an extra ticket?" "Yeah, but—" Twilight begun but Rainbow interrupted her. "YES! This is so awesome. The Wonderbolts perform at the Grand Galloping Gala every year. I can see it now..."

Rainbow said as she begun to tell us why she wants it. "Everyone would be watching the sky. Their eyes riveted on the Wonderbolts, but then in would fly Rainbow Dash! I would draw their attention with my Super Speed Strut. Then, I would mesmerize 'em with my Fantastic Filly Flash. And for my grand finale, the Buccaneer Blaze! The ponies would go wild! The Wonderbolts would insist that my signature moves be incorporated into their routine, and then welcome me as their newest member. Don't you see, Twilight? This could be my one chance to show 'em my stuff. You gotta take me!" Rainbow asks as Applejack pulled Rainbow's tail.

"Hold on just one pony pickin' minute here." Applejack began as she then spits and continues. "I asked for that ticket first." "So? That doesn't mean you own it." "Oh, yeah? Well I challenge you to a hoof-wrestle. Winner gets the ticket." Applejack challenged as Applejack and Rainbow dash began to hoof-wrestle.

I then fired a small hydro pump at them to cool them off. "That was... a bit.... Unnecessary?" Twilight told me. "At least it got their attention." I said as Applejack and Rainbow were recovering from the blast of water. "Look, Girls... these tickets are mine and I'll decide on who gets the tickets based on who has the best reason to have the extra ticket." Twilight told them.

"Drummin' up business for the farm?" "A chance to audition for the Wonderbolts?" "Money t' fix Granny's hip." "Living the dream." Applejack and Rainbow each gave their reasons. "Oh my, those were all pretty good reasons, aren't they?" Twilight said unsure of what to do. "Yeahhh.... I don't know who to choose either?" I said as both me and Twilights stomach growled.

"Listen to that, We're starving. I don't know about you, but I can't make important decisions on an empty stomach, so I'll, uh, think about it over lunch and get back to you two, okay?" Twilight asked them. "Okay." They both said as me and Twilight went on our way for lunch.

Timeskip

Me, Spike, and Twilight were walking and Twilight was trying to decide on who to give the tickets to. "Any ideas?" I asked her as she sighed. " I don't know (y/n), but I really can't think straight when I'm hungry, so where should we eat?" She asked me. "I don't know, I'm still trying to figure this place out." I told her as Pinkie came out of nowhere and crashed into Twilight.

"Oh my gosh! Twilight, are you ok!?" I asked as she got up and we then heard Pinkie screaming  about bats until she figured what was covering her eyes. "tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala?!" "I assume you are interested in the Gala?" I said. "How can I not!? It's the most amazing incredible tremendous super-fun wonderful terrifically humongous party in all of Equestria! I've always always always wanted to go!" Pinkie said music started playing.

"Where's that music coming from?" I asked in confusion as Pinkie started to sing.

With decorations like streamers and fairy-lights and pinwheels and piñatas and pin-cushions. With goodies like sugar cubes and sugar canes and sundaes and sun-beams and sarsaparilla. And I get to play my favorite-est of favorite fantabulous games like Pin the Tail on the Pony!

As she finished her song about the gala she ran to Twilight and starting shaking her hoof. "Oh thank you, Twilight, it's the most wonderful-est gift ever." "Um, actually—" twilight tried to tell her about her situation until we heard as gasp. "Are these what I think they are?" Rarity asked as she was holding the tickets. "Oh boy.... I think I can see where this is going." I said.

"Yes, yes, yes! Twilight's taking me to the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot." Pinkie said in excitement. "The gala? I design ensembles for the gala every year, but I've never had the opportunity to attend. Oh, the society, the culture, the glamour! It's where I truly belong, and where I'm destined to meet him." Rarity said and put the emphasis on him fro some reason.

"Uhhh.... Whose exactly is him?" I asked her. "Him." She said again as she was close to my face. "I would stroll through the gala, and everyone would wonder, "Who is that mysterious mare?" They would never guess that I was just a simple pony from little old Ponyville. Why, I would cause such a sensation that I would be invited for an audience with Princess Celestia herself, and the princess would be so taken with the style and elegance that she would introduce me to him, her nephew: the most handsome, eligible unicorn stallion in Canterlot. Our eyes would meet, our hearts would melt. Our courtship would be magnificent. He would ask for my hoof in marriage, and of course I would say, "Yes!" We would have a royal wedding, befitting a princess, which is" she then giggles and says. "what I would become upon marrying him, the stallion of my dreams. Twilight, I simply cannot believe you would invite Pinkie Pie so she can... party, and prevent me from meeting my true love. How could you? Hmph." Rarity in frustration.

"Oh no..." twilight said in worry. "Don't worry, I'll handle this." I told her. "Girls, Twilight hasn't decided on who gets the tickets." I told them. "She hasn't?" They both said. "Yes and Applejack and Rainbow Dash also asked and if you could let Twilight decide on who gets the tickets she will give you her answer." I told them as we then heard a soft voice saying.

"Um, excuse me, Twilight. I would just like to ask, I mean, if it would be all right, if you haven't given it to someone else..." Fluttershy came up with the tickets. "You? You want to go to the gala?" Rarity asked in surprise. "Why do you want to go?" I asked her. "Well... you see... It's not so much the Grand Galloping Gala as it is the wondrous private gated garden that surrounds the dance. The flowers are said to be the most beautiful and fragrant in all of Equestria. For the night of the gala, and that night alone, would they all be in bloom... and that's just the flora! Don't get me started on the fauna. There's loons and toucans and bitterns, oh my! Hummingbirds that can really hum, and buzzards that can really buzz. White-blue jays, and red jays, and green jays, pink jays and pink flamingos!" Fluttershy explained her reason.

"That... sounds nice." I said as we then heard. "Wait just a minute." Rainbow dash walked to where we all were. "Were you just following us?" I asked her in suspicion. "No. I mean, yes. I mean, maybe. Look, it doesn't matter. I couldn't risk a goody-four-shoes like you giving that ticket away to just anybody." She said as Applejack then comes in saying. "Wait just another minute."

"Applejack, were you following us too?" Twilight asked who was also suspicious. "No. I was followin' this one to make sure she didn't try any funny business. Still trying to take mah ticket." Applejack said as everyone was arguing about who gets the ticket. "QUIET!" Twilight yelled loudly as everyone stops talking. "Girls, there's no use in arguing."

"But Twilight—" "Eh! This is my decision, and I'm gonna make it on my own, and I certainly can't think straight with all this noise..." twilight said as both of her stomach growled. "not to mention hunger. Now go on, shoo." She said as the five mares were walking away. "And don't worry, I'll figure this out... somehow."

Timeskip

Me, Twilight, and Spike were at a restaurant that Twilight had found and Twilight was thinking out loud. "Guys, what am I gonna do? All five of my best friends have really good reasons to go to the gala. Applejack, or Rainbow Dash? Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy, Rarity... Oh, who should go with me?" "Have you made your decision?" The waiter asked as Twilight yells out. "I CAN'T DECIDE!"

"Twilight, it's just the waiter." "Yeah, he just wants to know your order." Me and spike told her. "Oh. I would love a daffodil and daisy sandwich." She said "Ill just have the same." I told him as Spike gave his order. "What do you think (y/n)?" Twilight asked me. "Well it's your decision and I don't really know how to help you on that." I told her. "Yeah.... Wait? How come you aren't asking me for the extra ticket?"

"What reason would I want to go to the Gala? I'm still learning about this world." I told her. "Right, sorry." She said. "It's fine, besides. Why would I want to go to some fancy party where all the richest and noblest ponies go where they discuss how fancy they are and twirl their mustaches while doing a sophisticated laugh." I said as I imitated the twirl and laugh which made Twilight laughed a little bit.

"I doubt they would do that." She said with a smile. "Ten bucks one of them will." "What are bucks?" Spike asked me. "I think he/she means bits." Twilight told him. "And I will happily accept that little bet." She said as our food has arrived. "Can't wait to hear you say that it happened when one of them do it." I said as we then saw ponies running inside. "Em, madam? Sir? Are you going to eat your food in ze rain?" The waiter asks as which confused us. "It's not raining..." Twilight said as we heard thunder and we can now tell that it was indeed raining.

"Why isn't it raining here?" I asked as we then heard a voice above us. "Hi there, best friend forever I've ever ever had. Enjoying the sunny weather?" Rainbow asks. "Rainbow Dash, what are you doing?" Twilight demanded. "Whaddya mean? I just saw the smartest, most generous pony about to get rained on, so I thought I'd kick a hole in the clouds to keep her dry so she could dine in peace, that's all." Rainbow said. "Rainbow, you're not trying to get extra consideration for the extra ticket by doing me extra special favors, are you?"

"Me? No no no, of course not." "Really?" I said in doubt. "Seriously, I'd do it for anypony." She said as me and Twilight motioned to the other ponies running in the rain. "Rainbow, I am not comfortable accepting unwanted favors, so I'd appreciate it if you close up that rain cloud right now." Twilight demanded. "Ugh, fine." Rainbow said as she zips up the cloud.... What?

"That's better." Twilight said as she was about to eat her sandwich when it started raining on her. "Uhhh... Twilight?" I nervously asked her. "Not! A word." She said as she was trying to move her wet mane off her face. "Why aren't you being affecting?" She grumpily asked me since the water wasn't affecting me and my mane wasn't wet.

"It's because I'm a water type so it doesn't really have a effect on me." I told her. "Well lucky you." She said in frustration as we then heard. "Twilight, it's raining." We turn to see Rarity with a raincoat and umbrella. "Come with me before you catch a cold." She tells us as we all followed her to her house.

We had arrived at Rarity's place and we were drying ourselves. "Thanks for the towels." I thanked her. "It's no problem, I do this for any of my friends. And you know what best friends do?" Rarity asked Twilight who was confused about what the answer was. "Makeovers."

she said as as curtain came out of no where blocking me and Spike and we heard loud noises for a while until the curtain is gone and we saw Twilight in a dress. "Wow, Twilight. That looks beautiful." I told her. "Thank you, Y/n)." She said. "And now you two." Rarity said as the curtain came toward me and Spike and the next moment we were in fancy clothes.

I was in a fancy suit/dress and Spike was in a fancy suit. "My, my. Don't you two look nice." Rarity said as Spike took off the clothes. "Ugh, I told you, I don't want any part of this girly gala gunk. See you back at the library." He said as he left. "Uhh.... I also don't really won't to be a part of this, so.... Bye." I said as I took off the fancy clothes and left.

Timeskip

I had walked back to the library with Spike and when we entered we saw the place was being cleaned by Fluttershy and her critter friends. "Oh boy..." I said as Twilight entered. "Ugh, I never thought being showered with favors would be so aggravating." She said as she then notice what was going on in the library.

"Fluttershy, not you too?" She said in despair as Fluttershy was cleaning along with a rabbit. "Oh, well, hello Twilight. I hope you don't mind, but we're all doing a little spring cleaning for you." Fluttershy told us. "In Summer? ...A little late for that isn't it." I said "Oh, well, better late than never, right? It was Angel's idea." She said as she motions to the Rabbit in question who waves.

"Please tell us your not doing this for her ticket?" I asked her. "Oh no, I'm doing this because you're my very best friend. Right, Angel?" Fluttershy said as Angel did some motions. "Oh, yes, we are just doing this for the ticket."

Me and Twilight just sighed at her answer. "No, no, no! Well, this was all very nice of you and Angel, but I'm not accepting any extra favors until I've made my final decision, so I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Twilight said as she opened the door and was suddenly dragged out of the building and I could hear ponies yell "Surprise!"

Turns out that it was pinkie "trying" to get Twilight to lay her have the ticket but it ended up with all the other ponies finding out and now she and Spike were running away. I grunted in frustration as I then yelled. "Pinkie! Get in the library with Fluttershy and await for me until I get everyone else!" I angrily told as she nods in worry and ran inside. I then went to get the other three to the library.

Timeskip

I had managed to get everyone here at the library and I was ready to let them have it. "How dare you!! How dare you try to pressure Twilight for some stupid ticket to some ball!! She has only started to get used to the idea of friendship and all of you pressuring her isn't helping her! She doesn't want to hurt any of your feelings and if y'all keep this up she might not even give y'all the tickets based on your actions and right now she is being chased by almost the entire population of Ponyville because of those stupid tickets! If you five can't behave like mature mares then I suggest you forget about your friendship with Twilight!" I paused to catch my breathe from all the yelling and to give them a minute to think about what their doing.

Then out of nowhere Twilight and Spike appeared out of nowhere surprising me. "Ugh... Warn me next time you're gonna do that." Spike said as I was about to tell Twilight but she interrupted me. "Quick, Lock the doors!" She said as the two locked all the doors and turned off the lights without noticing the six of us.

I then turned on the lights surprising her. "Yaaaargh!" She yells as she sees me and then notices the other. "I can't decide, I just can't decide! It's important to all of you and I just can't stand to disappoint any of you, and giving me gifts and doing me favors won't make any difference, because you're all my friends and I wanna make you all happy and I can't, I just can't!" She cried as the five mares came down.

"Twilight, sugar, I didn't mean to put so much pressure on you, and if it helps, I don't want the ticket anymore. You can give it to somepony else. I won't feel bad, I promise." "Me too. I feel just awful that I made you feel so awful." "And me too. It's no fun upsetting your friends." "Twilight, it was unfair of me to try to force you as I did." "A-and I don't want them either... I haven't really perfected my moves yet anyway..." "We all got so gun-ho about going to the gala that we couldn't see how un-gun-ho we were making you." "We're sorry, Twilight." They all told her as I smiled at their apology.

"Thank you..." Twilight said in relief. "Well, you should thank (y/n). He/she gathered us here and he/she told us off." Applejack told her. "Really? That's so sweet." She said as she gave me a hug which embarrassed me. "I-i-it's no p-problem really... just doing what a friend would do..." I said in embarrassment.

"So now what?" Pinkie asks as Twilight then says. "Spike, take down a note.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I've learned that one of the joys of friendship is sharing your blessings, but when there's not enough blessings to go around, having more than your friends can make you feel pretty awful. So, though I appreciate the invitation, I will be returning both tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala."

"What!?" We all yelled. "If my friends can't all go, I don't wanna go either." Twilight finished as Spike wrote everything she said. "Twilight, you don't have to do that." Applejack said "Nope. I've made up my mind. Spike, you can send the letter now." Twilight told Spike as he breathes fire on the letter which disintegrate.

"Now you won't get to go to the gala either." Fluttershy told her. "It's okay, girls. I couldn't possibly enjoy myself without my best friends there with me..." Twilight said as we all hugged and we then heard Spike making some noises. "Well wallop my withers, Spike. Isn't that just like a young boy? Can't handle the least bit of sentiment." Applejack said as Spike burped up a letter which surprised her.

"That was quick." I said as Spike opens the letter. "My faithful student Twilight,

Why didn't you just say so in the first place?" Seven tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala." He said as seven tickets were shown. "Why seven?" I asked in confusion. "It's obviously for you, silly." Pinkie said as I was handed a ticket.

"What!? But I don't...." I didn't finish my sentence as the I was interrupted by Rainbow Dash. "Come on (y/n), it wouldn't be the same without you." "And you did get us to apologize to Twilight and you should have a good time with all of us, darling." Rarity told me which I sighed. "Oh, alright." I said as they cheered until it was interrupted by me and Twilight's growling stomachs which we laughed nervously.

"Allow us to treat you to dinner." Rarity offered. "What a great way to apologize." "And to celebrate! Come on everyone, the cupcakes are on me!" Pinkie said as went out to get cupcakes to celebrate, along with Spike who was also given a ticket as well.

Saw this on YouTube and it made me smile.

I have finally started watching The Netflix show She-Ra and the princesses of Power. So far after watching the first season. I have enjoyed it and I can't believe I don't start sooner.
