Olivia POV:

I get a text from Tae before I head outside saying that he's waiting outside. While I go outside, I realize that inside the house it is really quiet and there is no music or humming at all.

What is Conrad doing?

Once I am outside, I see Tae with the window open, smiling at me.

"Hey," he says with a grin.

"Hi," I say back.

"Hey Liv," I hear someone say from the backseat of the car. Their window starts to go down and I see Conrad sitting at the backseat.

What in the worl-

"Hello?-" I say, in a lost for words.

I sit in the car and look behind me towards the backseat.

"I told him we were going out and he asked...well more like invited himself to come," he says while raising his eyebrows.

"Well, you have also invited yourself to our boardwalk date soo.." he says while placing his arm on his headrest.

"Date?" I say while looking at him.

"Of course. We are dating after all," he says while giving me a grin and keeping eye contact.

"Fake dating," Tae says, correcting him. But Conrad ignores him and doesn't remove his eyes from me.

"Alright, I am changing the music because the silence is killing me," Conrad says while pulling out his phone.

What is up with him?

"Don't put some stupid shit on," Tae says while eyeing Conrad through the rear view mirror.

Suddenly I hear Wildest dreams start to play on the speakers. I instantly smile and look back towards Conrad. Conrad looks up towards me and gives me a grin. Before I am able to talk, Tae says, "Are you kidding me".

Both Conrad and I look towards him.

"This is a masterpiece, what do you mean. " Conrad says.

"Exactly," I say while giving him a death glare.

He looks at both of us frightened and then says, "Are you kidding meee... shake it off...is obviously better?" he says while being cautious with his words. I look at his scared expression for a couple of seconds before laughing.

"Amature," Conrad says as he lays his head back on his headrest.

Since when has he liked Taylor?

"Here," Conrad says while passing me some cheetos.

I turn around towards him and try to read into this new conrad fisher that is suddenly very nice.

"How did you know I like this?"

"I observe. Also where in the hell are we going," he asks while looking towards Tae.

"We're here," he says while stopping in front of a building.

He stops in front of a big building and smiles towards me. As I step out of the car I see a giant Barnes and Noble in front of me.

I widen my mouth in shock, and he just gives me a smile.

"I'll head to another store and you can go in there,"

"Yeah me too," Conrad says, and they both walk in different directions.

I can't believe that in my 18 years of living I have never been into Barnes and Noble. This place is literal magic stored into one building. Music? It's there. Books? It's there. Magazines? It's there.

After scanning and wanting to place about 10 books into my basket, I feel someone tap my shoulder next to me. I look over and see Conrad with a drink in his hand while leaning against the wall.

"I thought you were heading somewhere else," I ask him. He shrugs and starts scanning through books.

"I got bored," he says while picking one up.

As I walk through the aisle, Conrad follows behind as he starts reading a magazine.

"Shit. These books are expensive," he says as I place one of the books down.

Exactly my thoughts. And if I were rich, this would be the one store I would go on a shopping spree at. If I were rich, I would just be placing all these books in my cart instead of leaving them alone on the bookshelf.

I headed towards the checkout line with a book I found that sounded pretty cool and also wasn't crazy expensive.

"All those books you picked out and you only got one?" Conrad says while looking at the cover of the book.

"If I were rich I would sell out this whole store," I say while showing him the price.

He nods and starts looking around the store as I pay. I'll meet you at the car, I need to get something real quick.

Before I can say anything, he has already run away to wherever it was that he was going to.

"You're done," I hear Tae says next to me. I nod as he grabs my bag and heads out the store with me.

"So, where did you go?"

"To some stores over there," he says pointing towards the other side of the street. I nod as his phone rings and he quickly picks it up.

"I got to take this," he says as he walks away. He starts to anxiously pace back and forth as he talks. All I can hear is "I can't right now" and "Why are you being like this". I walk away, trying not to eavesdrop in his conversations and just look at the people shopping inside the store. There's no Conrad in sight.

I take out my phone to see if there's anything interesting to do when I see a text notification from Elina.

How old are you?- Elina

Uhh 18, why?- me

Nothing. I just thought I was older. What you doing?-Elina

Shopping with your brother and Conrad- me

Ou Conrad..-Elina

I wait for her to elaborate, but when she doesn't, I reply back.

Heh-me

Come on. You can't tell me you don't like Conrad not even a lil- Elina

I stare at the message but don't respond.

I've been avoiding that question for weeks.

Do I like Conrad Fisher?

I have not a singular clue.

Do I feel like literal electricity is flowing through my veins whenever he touches me? Yes.

Did the kiss feel magical as hell? Hell yeah.

Did I have that weird ass dream of the...I don't have to explain it. Yes, I did.

Does that all lead to signs of having a crush? Yes, it does.

But, I also feel this way towards Tae. Does that mean I also like him? I feel like literal electricity is flowing through my veins whenever he smiles at me. Does that mean I like him or does it mean I just find him to be hot.

I don't have a clue. No clue at all.

I feel an arm go around my shoulder and then a bag is placed in front of me.

"Done," I hear him say close to me. I turn my head and see Conrad staring down at me.

Does he have a way of making me feel like my heart is about to jump out of my chest whenever he speaks to me? Whenever he lays his eyes on mine and doesn't look away.

All the answers lead to yes.

"Let's go," Tae says while removing Conrad's arm and then places his arm around me.

Does he also have a way of making me feel the same way? Yes, yes he does.

And at this moment, when Conrad is looking over to me and Tae has his arm around my shoulder, I realized that, 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅.
