Chapter 13: Warm

Shawn POV'

I miss sleeping like this. Its very comfortable. Its really warm and I really love the feeling. I press my body to the source of it. Its really warm and comforting.

I wrap my arms and leg to it like your hugging your pillow. But its different, I can feel some muscles on it. I slowly open my eyes and I was met by a sparkling gray eyes. Its the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. I try to focus on it and I realize it was my mate, Matt, who are watching me with a smile attach to his face.

I can see the love and passion in it. I smile back at him. I put my hand on his cheek and caress it. His skin is so soft and warm. I can feel the sparks and tingles when I touch him. I can smell his amazing scent of sweet strawberries.

"Good morning, Mate" he said and oh my god. His voice, it sends shiver down in my spine and it cause me to blush.

"G-go-goo-od morning" I stuttered. Its making me nervous. I know his my mate but I don't really know him yet. My wolf is screaming at me to claim him and make love to him. But its too early for us. I need to know my mate more before we do it.

And besides I'm still 16 and I don't regret finding my mate this early. But because of my mother doings he make me shift earlier than I expected and now here I am. I know that once we mated there's a big chance that I will get pregnant and I'm not ready yet.

"Uhmm, are you okay? Is anything hurt?" I look up and I didn't know that I was spacing out. I saw the worried look in my mate's face. I smile at him.

"I'm fine and thanks for being here." I said it and I was shock when his facial expression change its like he's scared of something.

"Shit! Shit! James will kill me. Oh my gosh. He just said to keep an eye on you. I was not really meant to sleep with you." He said and look at the clock in the night stand of the room "And I'm positive that he saw me sleeping with you. Shit!" He said and I can't help it but to smile at his reaction.

"Hey relax, no need to worry. I'm here and I'm your mate. There is no problem about it sleeping with your mate. And we didn't do anything and actually it really help to rest more. Hmmm.. Its...comfy you know" I said the last part like a whisper but I know he heard it. I look at him and his smiling.

"Thanks and its good to hear that. But I know your brother very well. He's my best friend for a long time and he will really threaten me when he saw me." He said with a frown showing in his face.

"I guess so but don't worry I'm here to cover you up." I said and smile at him. He smile back and walk to the window and open it. And I can feel the fresh air but I feel something too.

She's watching us.

With that I transport myself at the center of the ground pack. I can see the pack members trying to stop me. I turn to face them and I saw my brother and his mate. They are making the pack members to calm down. And they assure that I'm not going to hurt them.

"Hey! You almost gave me a heart attack!" My mate shout running towards me. I can't help it but to smile.

"I'm sorry about that. I just catch some bad aura on the wind and I need to do something about it. Go to my brother and wait me there and tell them to keep some distance. Trust me, I'm not your enemy." I said to him firmly.

"Okay, but make sure you are going to be okay." He said with worry in his voice. I smile at him and before he can walk away I grab his hand and peck him on the lips.

Now I need to do it as soon as possible.

I position myself and chant a powerful spell. I'm going to contrast the spell of my mom. I already memorized all the spells on her books. I know all her spell and how will I counter attack it. Now I know she's watching us and they are listening to our conversation. But I know she can only do it just one at a time. So there is two possible thing if she's not observing me then she's observing my brother and vice versa.

I know this spell will really worn me out. And will consume most of my energy but I don't care as long as I can protect this pack even they didn't fully accepted me yet.

It takes only 20 minutes for me to cast the spell that will make my mother blind to us. And next time I with make sure that they will have a hard time to locate us. After finishing the spell. My body feel numbs and before I hit the ground there are two strong arms catch me from falling. I can feel the sparks from it and smile.

I can heard some noise and I know I'm still in the pack ground and I was wrap with a strong arms. I slowly open my eyes and I was shock that on a... Stage??? What the f??

"Love, are you okay now? Did you feel pain anywhere in your body? Do you need something?" I smile at my mate who ask me a rapid questions.

"Hey I told you, I'm fine. How many hours did a sleep?" I said to him and he take a deep breath like he was freed from a torn in his body. He look at me smile.

"Its only one hour and a half, love. And I know your wondering why we are here on stage. We are having a pack meeting and we are just waiting for you to wake up." He inform me and I relax myself to his touch. Its feel nice.

"Oh my! I'm so glad that your awake now. Are you okay? You shouldn't do that. You still not in condition to do what you did." My brother commented when he approach me.

"I'm fine and I really need to do it ASAP specially that we are having a pack meeting right now." I said to him and I know that he understand what I mean about it.

"Okay, now that you are awake. We can start the meeting now." He said and before he can go to his mate he turn back and raise a brow to my mate "And Matt you have some explanation to do after this." And with that he walked away.

I can't help it but to smile because of Matt's reaction. Its like his going to poop.
