Chapter 35

Brandon's POV

"Brandon are you leaving now?"

"Yes mother. I need to stay by her side. I want her to see me when she wakes up." I told her.

"Okay honey take care. Oh and by the way Harry and Anna are going with you." She said.

"Yeah ok."

"We're ready." Anna said going down the stairs.

"Good. Let's go." When I exited the doors I saw a beautiful red rose just like the white ones Conor is bringing. Today was the 5th day of her coma.

We arrived to the hospital and we went up to Lea's room. I had a cold face. That's how I like it. I don't show anyone any feelings. Besides this girl laying here unconscious.

"You go first." I told Harry and Anna.

"Okay." They went inside and I waited for them to be back.

"You highness!" I turned around to see a peasant woman being held by the guards. She was crying so much.

"Leave her!" I commanded and they instantly let her go. She ran to me and looked with glossy eyes.

"What's wrong?" She was out of breath.

"Please we need help." She said desperately.

"In what?" I showed her a bit of concern. But I was full ears to her.

"The orphanage your father built has been robbed. We can't help the children. There's no money left." She pleaded. It has been a while since I visited the orphanage and I'm feeling crap for it.

"What?" I was full of rage now and my posture was stiff.

"We don't know what to do. And with the recent events at the castle I couldn't reach his highness the king!"

"It's okay calm down. I'll find a solution." She seemed to relax a bit. "Conor! Take this lady to the castle. Let her speak with my father. I'll visit the orphanage today." I assured her. She followed Conor.

"Harry I'm going to the orphanage. Stay here while I go. I won't be long." He nodded. Harry and Anna seemed tense. There's something going between these two but it's not the time to question them. We will know eventually.

"Jacob I want you and 10 guards to stay here and guard Alexa's room. Xavier follow me with the other guards."

"Yes sir!" They said and we went to the orphanage.

What I saw when I arrived was awful. Apparently it has been 2 days since this happened and no one in the castle knew about it.

"We'll give you all the money you need Beatrice." I said to the woman who takes care of everything here.

"Thank you your highness." She bowed.

"I'll go see the kids now." I told her. I knew my way around here very well.

"Brandon!" Aurora ran to me. She was my favorite kid here.

"Aurora." I scooped her in my arms and twirled her.

"We missed you." She said with a frown.

"I missed you too." The kids hugged my legs and smiled at me. "I'm sorry I just had a lot of things to do."

"It's okay. Where's Alex?" She asked.

"Well she's.... ill. She has flue."

"Oh. Can we play now." I couldn't say no the this little angel.

"Sure little one." I set her on the floor and they began running around me.

After about 2 hours playing with kids it was time I go back to Alexa. I brought them all toys and they enjoyed playing with it. I arrived at the hospital and headed to my angel's room.

"Harry? Anna? Why are you out and not with Alexa?" I asked annoyed. I told them to stay with her.

"Uhm.." Harry was looking at Anna while she looked at the floor.

"Okay spill. Now." I was losing my patience here.

"She has a visitor." Harry spoke fast. Anna elbowed him and he glared at her.

"And who is that visitor?" I clenched my jaw.

"It's Robert Rosely." This time Anna spoke. All I saw was red. I hated that man. He made my girl blush. He visited her frequently and he annoyed the shit out of me. I still hasn't seen Alexa the whole day and he came to ruin the day for me. I barged into the room and saw him sitting next to her. He looked at me.

"I was just leaving." He stood and walked past me but I stopped him.

"I don't want to see you near her. Understood?" I glared daggers at him.

"Alex is her own person. She decides that when she waked up." He left the room and I sigh. I sat on the chair next to her and stroked her hair.

"I miss so much Angel. Please come back. All your family miss you. I need you Alexa. I know you're strong. Fight for me." I kissed her forehead. I laid my head next to her hand while holding it and slept.

Dream.

"Anna! Stop running around." I scowled her.

"Brandon stop being a meanie. Dad said I could do whatever I want." She said.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. My beautiful girlfriend is waiting for me and I was eager to see her.

I passed by the maids rooms. Usually I walk between these rooms to ensure that they don't need anything. They all should be healthy and fine. Passing by Laura's room I heard moaning. But I saw Laura cleaning the stairs. Who is in her room then? She is the only one that has her own room. She worked hard and earned it. My curiosity took the best of me. And you know what they say? Curiosity killed the cat. And that's what happened when I saw the woman I thought I loved with an unknown guy. That day my heart died. I became more cold hearted.

"What the fuck?!" I yelled. Elena screamed and hides her body.

"Brandon please it's not what it looks like." She pleaded.

"Oh really? Then what it is?" She was at loss of words. "Save it bitch. Guards!" In an instant they came to my side. "Take her from here!" My heart broke when I saw her tears but she fucking cheated on me!

I jolted up and was panting heavily.

"Are you okay?" I looked at the source of the voice and saw Alexa with her eyes wide open looking at me with worry in her eyes.

"You're awake!"
