Alexandra's POV

"Laura did you see my doctor?"

After all the dizziness I was having, I went to Peter, the doctor. He ran some tests on me and today was the day of the results.

I had been so busy these past days. Brandon was stressed more than usual and I went to different parts of the kingdom everyday.

"Yes your highness. The doctor said there was nothing. The dizziness is because of the blood loss after your incident. That's all." She said with a relieved smile.

"Oh thank god. Did he gave you any medicine for me to take?"

"Uhm no. He said to eat more sugar." She said.

"Oh okay."

I trusted doctor Peter. He was the one who was there for Lea before me. I'm just relieved that everything is fine.

"Sweetheart." Brandon said entering our room. He had bags under his eyes now and he smiled tiredly.

"Yes?" I walked to him and hugged him inhaling his manly cologne. I was addicted to it.

"What did the doctor say." He grabbed my face.

"Oh there's nothing. It's from the blood loss when I got stabbed in my back." I assured him.

"Is there any medicine?" He asked.

"No. He said to only eat more sugar." He nodded and took my hand in his.

"You look tired." He said to me.

"Yeah I think it's related to the dizziness or something."

"I want to tell you something." I suddenly tensed.

"What is it?" I asked him.

"There's a war in one week. Elena wants to attack Emerland."

"What?" I was shocked.

"Yeah. She knew about your story and she's now an ally with that bastard lord's family. I want to keep you safe at all costs Alexa. History won't repeat itself. I won't let you live the same experience my mom lived." For the first time I saw sadness in his eyes.

"Nothing will happen to me Brandon." I told him assuring .

"I would go crazy if something ever happens to you." I put his face in my neck.

"When you're with me I feel safer."

"I'm never going to leave your side." He said.

"Brandon I-I think I need to speak with Peter."

"What's wrong Alexa?" He stood up abruptly.

"I don't feel well. I think Laura has made a mistake." I told him truthfully.

"She lied?" He asked coldly and I shivered at his tone. "I'm sorry. I'm just so worried about you sweetheart." He held my face in his hands.

"Maybe Peter made a mistake I don't know. Let us go talk to him." He held my gaze for a few seconds and nodded.

"Okay let's go." He led my hand and we left the room towards the royal infirmary where Peter worked.

We entered and there was few warriors getting there cuts stitched. Looks like Brandon is going hard on them.

"Sir." The all said with stone faces.

Brandon nodded at them. The nurses bowed and resumed their work.

"Abigail." A petite nurse turned to Brandon.

"Yes sir?" She asked.

"Where's doctor Peter?"

"He's in his office." She smiled at us and continued her work. I thanked her and we went to Peter's office.

"Oh your highnesses I've been waiting for you." I looked at Brandon puzzled and his eyes reflected my face.

"Why? Is everything okay?" Brandon asked him.

"Yeah yeah everything's fine." He was searching for something.

"Doctor you didn't give me medicine." I told him.

"Don't worry I'll give you some vitamins." He smiled.

"Vitamins? What about the blood loss?" He stopped abruptly and looked at me.

"What blood loss?" He asked confused.

"Laura said that because of my injury I had a blood loss that's why-"

"You have nothing of that sort my queen. Actually you're totally fine." He grabbed the paper I assume he was searching for and gave it to me.

"What's this?"

"This paper is the first thing about our next king."

"What? What are you talking about?" Brandon asked him.

"Congratulations. Her highness is pregnant." I froze. Brandon stiffened looking at me with wide eyes.

"Are you sure?" He asked Peter not breaking eye contact with me.

"Yes I'm one hundred percent sure. I told Laura this morning and she was going to deliver the news for you."

"Omg!" I said with tears in my eyes. "Brandon-" he cut me off by pulling me into a kiss.

It was a slow kiss pouring his love, his passion in it. I saw tears in his eyes but didn't let them out. He smiled into the kiss and when we were in need of breath he pulled away.

"It's official. We're going to be parents." He said twirling me in the air. I laughed and squealed.

"We are !" I screamed.

"Thank you doctor Peter." I said and we left his office.

"Brandon son is everything okay?" Lea asked worried.

"Yes mother. Where's Harry and Anna?" He growled and I smirked.

I sent Harry to bring Anna to the sitting room. Yet they hasn't showed up yet. I shouldn't have sent him. They are taking forever.

We were gathered here because Brandon wanted to tell our parents about my pregnancy. Every time I repeat that word in my head my heart beat faster. Will I be a good mother or a bad mother? I'm sure Brandon will be the best father.

"We're here." They arrived breathless. Anna has her lip gloss smudged a bit.

"Since everyone's here, we have something to tell you." I announced.

"The heir to the crown is coming." Brandon said finally.

No reaction. Not a single word. Everyone looked with wide eyes.

Suddenly mom and Lea screamed hugging me while dad and Ace did a high five. Harry had a scowl and Anna was smiling.

"I hate babies." He grumbled.

"Shut up." Anna smacked him.

"Sir." Conor said.

"Yes?"

"Sir Andrew and his fiancée are back." He said.

Oh Andrew and Maria's wedding is in 2 days. I can't wait to see my best friend getting married. They were always changing the date because of us. It's time they have their happiness too.

Andrew and Maria were outside the kingdom. Brandon said Andrew has a secret mission and he took Maria so no one could suspect them.

"Great. I'm going to see Maria."

"Welcome back dear friend." I patted Andrew's back.

"Thank you. I heard the news. Congrats man." He smiled at me.

"Thanks. Now tell me. How was your mission?" I asked with a smirk.

"Successful." He mirrored my smirk.

"We're here." Marcos, Ronan, Nicolas and Brad entered the room.

"Men." I acknowledged them with a nod.

"Congrats your highness." They all said.

"Thank you all. Please take your seats."

"Andre welcome back man. Thank god you came. These 3 here were going to kill me. You are my savior." Ronan said dramatically. We all rolled our eyes at him.

"Andrew what you got?"

"Very interesting informations." He said eyeing the people seated here.

"What is it?"

"The war is in 5 days."
