Chapter 1060 Are You Willing to Get Another Woman?

“You’re so punctual.”

“Why did I come so early?” Gilbert coldly said with a poker face.

Kohen grinned dully. He forgave Gilbert for how he reacted. He then pulled him to walk toward the center of the party.

Gilbert frowned as he withdrew his hand. He then stared seriously at Kohen.

“I remember that you have a good relationship with Jensen. And, he became how he is now because of me. So, why were you still willing to help me?”

He wanted to ask this question when he first arrived in Raworth.

Initially, he did not expect Kohen to help him because of Jensen. The first person he discussed with was not Kohen either.

However, that partner of his refused to help him. That was why he talked to Kohen.

Unexpectedly, Kohen was more cooperative than he imagined. He actually agreed to help him immediately.

Gilbert’s impression of Kohen was not a good one due to the rumors regarding him in the world of business.

Rumor had it that there was nothing Kohen would not do in the business world. He was relatively extreme, evil, and even strange.

He did not pay attention to Kohen’s characteristics before this. But, for the past two days, he noticed that Kohen was nothing like the rumors about him.

Kohen picked up a glass of alcohol and gently smiled. “I have known Jensen for a long time, and our relationship is good. But, I think that you, as his brother, wouldn’t hurt him. That must be an accident.

So, since it was an accident, I can’t blame you for it.”

Gilbert suddenly smiled sarcastically when he heard that. “What makes you say that? We’re not even close.”

“Jensen once told me that he has a younger brother. And their relationship was good. He said he missed his brother very much, and he wanted to go back.”

Gilbert was shocked, and he could not speak.

Kohen patted his shoulder as he softly said, “If Jensen thought that the relationship between the two of you was good, then your relationship with him must be good.

Battles in the business world are inevitable. But, since your relationship with him is truly good, you won’t want to hurt him. Just like how he wouldn’t hurt you.”

Gilbert laughed ironically.

‘Unexpectedly, Kohen, as an outsider, could see right through my brotherhood with Jensen.’

“Let’s go. Don’t overthink it. I’ll go and visit Jensen in Calthon.”

After Kohen said that, he then led Gilbert to the lively party.

Gilbert stared unwaveringly at Kohen’s back. He suddenly felt that this man was quite decent.

There were mostly women at the party. And, they were all young ladies.

Gilbert asked Kohen, “What’s the occasion today? Why did you throw a party?”

“There’s no occasion. It’s just a normal day,” Kohen said. He then turned back to smile at him. “You’re going back in a few days, right? Before you go back, I, as the host, must give you a treat. Frankly, I threw this party for you. So, stop pulling a long face. It’s just a woman.”

Gilbert instantly looked angry.

Kohen comforted him. “I heard all about it. Kisa got you this time. Actually, there’s nothing to be upset about. You can always get another woman. I specifically asked a lot of respectable, reputable, and gorgeous ladies to come today. Have a look around. See if there’s anyone that you like.”

Gilbert looked furious as he pushed him away. “Are you willing to get another woman?”

Kohen was stunned. After a pause, he coldly smiled as he said, “If my wife did what your wife did to you, I wouldn’t just get another woman; I’d make her life a living hell!”

Eylul was walking in their direction. She could not help but freeze for a moment when she heard the ruthless words that Kohen had said. A hint of coldness quietly flashed in her heart.
