Chapter 1145
Reborn Through Fire
Chapter 1145 I Donât Like People Touching My Things âI asked you to research GKâs internal core data. Whatâs this? I want the actual data. This kind of data can easily be found online. I can do this too. Why do I still need you all, then? Huh?â
When Kisa arrived at the company, she saw Shaun fiercely scolding his assistant.
He threw the stack of data sheets at the assistantâs head as he furiously scolded, âYou trash! Bunch of trash!â
Kisa coldly smiled. She laughed as she said, âShaun, youâre so capable. Youâll naturally make people like us look worthless.â
âHey, Mrs. Kooper. What made you come here? Shouldnât you be resting at home?â
Shaun glanced at Kisaâs belly with his cold eyes as he said that.
He seemed like he wanted to see through Kisaâs belly with his ruthless and gloomy eyes to see if Kisa was ever pregnant.
There was still a bruise on his face. Gilbert hit him out of anger the other day.
Kisa actually wondered why Gilbert did not fire Shaun for what he did to her.
She signaled Shaunâs assistant to go out as she walked in.
The assistant looked like he received an amnesty. He ran out immediately.
Kisa leaned on the window as she stared at Shaun, who was sitting in a chair.
He looked arrogant, and he was holding a cigarette with his fingers.
âWell, he isnât afraid of me at all after our fall out.â
She sneered, âShaun, youâre sitting in the wrong chair. The assistant office is next door. This is my office.â
âIâm just helping you with your work. Look at you. You just had a miscarriage. Your body is still very weak. You should quickly go home and rest. It isnât worth it if you get any underlying health problems because of this.â
âMy health is great. Donât worry, Shaun.â
She walked toward her desk as she said that. She pressed her hands down on the edge of the table as she coldly stared at him, âThe reason I came here today is to test if my seat is comfortable. But, youâre sitting in my chair. What are you trying to do?â
Shaunâs smile was stiff for a moment. He got up after a while.
âYou shouldâve just told me earlier that you wanted to sit in this chair.â
He moved aside as he said that.
He said with a smile as he saw Kisa sit in the chair, âThis chair is actually very hard. Iâm afraid it might not suit you.â There was a deeper meaning in what he said.
Kisa leaned back in her chair. She smirked, âI donât think so. I think this chair is quite comfortable.â
She pulled the drawer after she said that. She then took out a stamp.
âAnd, I donât like people sitting in my chair. I also donât like people touching my things! You did both of those two things. So, you can stop coming here from now on. My place is too small for your greed.â
Shaunâs face looked extremely gloomy suddenly.
âWhat are you trying to say? Are you firing me?â
Kisa calmly looked at him. âWhy? Canât I do that?â
âGilbert didnât give the word. Who are you to fire me?â Shaun angrily shouted. His ferocious look could be seen through his gold-framed glasses.
Kisa smiled gently and said, âI can make Gilbert hire you with just one sentence, and I can also make him fire you with just one sentence!â
Shaun mercilessly stared at her. He was so angry that the veins on his forehead popped out.
âYouâre such a b*tch. Did you forget how well my boss treated you?â
âThe one who treated me well was Jensen. What does that have to do with you?â Kisa scorned, âStop using Jensen as an excuse. Do you think Iâd still keep you here after what you did to me the other night?â
âBut, you said you wanted to avenge my boss. And now, youâre chasing me out of the company. So, what are you trying to do? I think a bâ*tch like you just never wanted to avenge my boss. My boss risked his life. to rescue you from the burning jail!â
