Wedding bells🔹🔹🔹Spruha's POVWhen I returned back home , it was 5:45 pm somewhat. Baba was having his evening adrak–waali–chaai and aai was watching TV show munching snacks. Baba smiled looking at me. I went in kitchen to have some water , where I saw bhabhi cutting veggies. " You didn't tell them , right? " I asked as I sipped the water and she nodded. " Did anything happen? " She asked. " No. " I said. " I talked with him. He just had a bad dream where he saw I leaving him , and he was scared and confessed that he loves me and he never cheated. Everything is sought out. We talked and I'm going to tell my decision tonight , when everyone will be home! " I said and she smiled. Soon , I took Pihu to the colony garden backside in the evening. My pumpkin has started to walk baby steps and everyone were super excited about this. I enjoyed playing with her. I made her sit on my lap and made her drink water from her bottle. After , she was blabbering funny talks and I listened when my phone rang. A video call from Varad , it was. Smiling , I accepted the call and saw his handsome face. " Heyyyy sweetheart! " he greeted. " Hello to you too , darling! " I said and he blushed. " What's up? " I asked him. " Ohh I was missing you!! So thought to face time you! " He said winking. I laughed and said , " missing me?? We just met 3 some hours ago varad!! " and he rolled his eyes. " Whatever! " He said. " Who's this cutiepie by the way? " " Ohh she's Pihu!! Sidh bhaiya's daughter. " I said smiling. " Say hi baby! " I said to Pihu and squealed seeing the mobile screen. Varad and I laughed seeing her. " Hello baby!! " He said showing his hand. " Heooo " said Pihu mimicking him showing her tiny hand , smiling. " Ohh such a cutie!!! " And we both laughed. I kissed her chubby cheeks. " Seems she likes you alot! " I said looking at him. " Definitely. " he said smirking. Later he talked with Pihu and undoubtedly , Pihu was enjoying his company. After fifteen minutes I bid him bye. " Byee babyyyy! Bye sweetheart! " He said giving me a flying kiss. " It was for my cutiepie!! " He said pulling my legs. I huffed. " You're so mean! I'm your girlfriend. Remember , I still haven't replied to your proposal! " I said smirking and his eyes widen , I laughed looking at him. " Babe!!! I was joking! " He said with puppy eyes. " So I was " I said laughing at him. " Alright , it's getting dark.. we need to head back. " I said. Pihu huffed making a grumpy face catching my phone. " Hahah , baby will talk to him later on , c'mon. Listen to buaa! Say him bye!! " I said and she denied. " Ohh baby!! I will call you at night again! For now go home with your buaa " he said to her , giving her a flying kiss. He said a small bye and I disconnected the call. " Naughty baby! " I said pinching her cute nose and we headed home. ..." Baba , I need to tell you something. " I said as everyone settled in the living room post dinner. Nisha bhabhi gave me a thumbs up encouraging. " What is it sona? " Baba asked. " About the Malhotra's proposal , I agree! I'm giving this marriage a chance " I said and that followed by a pin drop silence. Seconds later , mom jumped from the sofa shouting " whattt?? " and engulfed me in a hug. Everyone congratulated me. We were in a relationship for three years... we were good , until there were fights and doubts among us... And we broke. Also that time , I got Harvard's offer in USA. So—i left all behind and concentrated on my career. But after four years... Again I saw him when you bought his proposal. I swear I wasn't knowing anything and I had decided to give up on him—but I love him so much!! I was angry on him as I thought he cheated upon me but he didn't. That were our misunderstandings.. when I talked with prisha , I came to know the truth an— " I was explaining crying when bhabhi interrupted" And when she was talking with prisha , I heard their conversation and came to know that they're talking about the same guy , dad has brought the proposal of. When I talked with her , I came to know that she truly loves him.. I made her understand and finally she agreed to marry him! " She finished. " Baba! " Maa asked as he hung the call. " Shaalu!! Jaan... Aur ek box kajukatli ka laao!!! The Agarwal's had agreed the proposal!! Spruha has said YES! " He said taking mom's hand and dancing. " Kyaa??? Sacchi??? Wow! Ohh my god!! There is so much to prepare!! I will call pandit ji and ask him for prosperous day... I want the roka to take place in this week!! I can't wait to have Spruha home!! " Maa chirped. I smiled looking at them. After what felt like eternity , they saw me standing. " Aree varad! What are you standing there?? Come here!! " Dad said taking my hand and feeding me the kajukatli. " What were you telling shona? " Maa asked. " The same. Actually maa , when I slept in the noon.. I got a dreadful dream of Spruha leaving me and even she hadn't replied to us then. I was worried and so I called her. We met and talked and there we decided to tell you too! " I said to them , and dad was laughing at me.Dimple had gone for a night out at her friend's place , so she wasn't home. After the news , dad and mom constantly teased me until I forced myself to shut myself in the room! At night , I chatted with Spruha and she told me she said about us to her parents and they were cool about it. And we both were happy with this. Now that everything is fine , I cannot wait to have her for me for all lifetime! ...Two days later : " Hello rachana ji! I have talked with the Panditji. Today is a good day and the auspicious muhurta is at 6:34 pm in the evening. Should we do the roka today?? " Maa was talking with Spruha's mom in the morning. " Guys!!! That followed with dimple dancing all over the house , I and dimple went together as I wanted a new kurta. I texted Spruha , asking her for colour code and her dress pattern. She was also planning for shopping , so talking with our parents we decided to meet for shopping together. Dimple squealed in happiness when I told her that Spruha is joining us. I texted Spruha the address. Soon after we reached the mall , we waited for her to arrive. I was scrolling instagram while dimple was having her kitkat. I saw Spruha coming towards us and I hi-fied her. " Hello! Hi dimple! " She greeted us. " Bhabhi!!!! Wow!!! I'm so happy we'll do the shopping together! Yeah!!! " She chirped hugging her. " Yah! " I asked her teasingly and she blushed. " Shut up , you idiot! " She said slapping my arm and dimple laughed. As we were talking , dimple excused us as she got a call. " Come here , sweetheart! Let me hold you!! " I said pulling her to me. " Varad! There are people around! What are you doing? " She whispered–yelled me , as my hands rested on her waist. " Never mind sweetheart!! You know.... I love audience!! " I said making her blush. " Jaan , I missed you! " I said hugging her. I smelled her fragrance hiding my face in the crook of her neck. " I missed you too! " She said ruffling my hairs. I kissed her neck. I cupped her face and was about to kiss her when I heard dimple shout , " ohhh my virgin eyes!!!! Get a room guys! " She said teasing smirking at me. " Thode der aur baat kar leti? " I groaned in frustration. And she laughed. Spruha blushed looking at me , and hid her face in my chest. " Whatever! Chalo abb!! Jaldi " dimple said mocking. ...Spruha's POV" Dimple how is this one?? " I asked her as the lady showed us next lehenga." The colour is nice , but it's too heavy! " She said and I agreed , I wanted something with bright colour and light weighted. " Please , show that one? " I asked the lady. When I took the lehenga in my hand , I liked it at the moment!! It was a beautiful ice blue embroidered lehenga with a balcony cut sweetheart blouse design along with netted dupatta. " I liked this one " I said to dimple. She too loved the design , and we had the lehenga packed for me. Later , we shopped for dimple. She chose a bright yellow ethnic jacket–skirt outfit. We shopped our matching jewelleries and makeup kit. As dimple decided to have us a colour combined outfits , for varad we chose a powder blue lucknowi nehru jacket set. After we took everything , we headed back home. Varad offered me to drop home." Goodbye sweetheart! Can't wait to see you in this beautiful outfit!! " He said. " Me too! Come soon , I'll be waiting for you! " I said winking. After kissing him good bye he left. ...Narrator's POVThe evening came soon , with both the families preparing for the ceremony. The event was to happen at the Agarwal's residence. The living room of the house was decorated beautifully. The sofa was set in the centre along with fluffy creamy white–green cushions at its side. Two tables with flower vases were at its adjacent. The background had a flowery setup. A small round table was put in the front filled with boxes of sweets and gifts. Spruha was dressed in her beautiful ice–blue adored lehenga with crystal earrings , a shade of her favourite nude lipstick complimenting her look , her hair tied in a fancy bun , with a flower broach. Wearing her shiny high heels , she was all ready. The Agarwal's were all ready in their classy outfits , with Pihu baby wearing her pretty pink frock looking like a princess! Soon , the Malhotra's arrived and the ceremony was started. Varad was awestruck seeing his sweetheart adored in that beautiful outfit! He couldn't take his eyes off her! She smiled looking at him welcoming. Spruha too , loved her handsome man dressed up all in glory. The lucknowi jacket suit was looking classy on his well built body. Dimple was also dressed gracefully , looking cute with her light curls. She was also liked by Pihu , and squealed seeing her. They were having a good time. Spruha and Varad were made to sit on the sofa. " You look gorgeous babe!! " Varad said kissing the side of her head and scooting a little closer to her. " Thankyou! You too look good! " She said blushing. Then , rachana came forward with a plate full of a diya , haldi-kumkum , coconut and some sweet. She applied the tilak to both their foreheads , blessing them. Both the soon-to-be groom and bride touched her foot taking her blessings. The same was followed by Shalmali. She offered Spruha the red chunri and box full of sweets and dry fruits. She kissed her forehead. Both Spruha and Varad touched the elder's foot taking the blessings. Later it followed by taking pictures of both of them , family pictures and so on. Pihu squealed seeing varad. And ran into his arms from her mother's hands. He smiled looking at her , kissing her cheeks. Spruha smiled seeing varad and her brother talkin' with eachother." Hmm , I see that this little kiddo is so intimidated by you that she isn't coming to me!! Definitely Spruha was whipped then! " Siddhesh said looking at Pihu smiling. " She's my princess , I don't want to come running crying complaining about her wilful husband! She's precious! Take care of her , cherish her! " He said talking with varad , eyeing Spruha. " Indeed she is!! I promise I will love her all my life! She won't share tears except for happy!! " He said assuring his soon-to-be wife's possesive brother. Siddhesh smiled and patted his back. Both the families had a good time together. Post dinner everyone sat together talking and discussing further things. Dimple was enjoying with Pihu while Spruha had taken varad to her room. " Ohh babe , you look so ravishing in this!! " He said huskily kissing her earlobe sending shivers down her spine. " Mhhmm " she moaned as his cold hands rested on the bare skin of her waist and his lips twitching the skin on her neck. " Heyy babe , I have something for you!! " He said excited , moving his hands to the side pocket. " What is it? " She asked observing his actions. " It's a surprise! Close your eyes until I tell you you to open! " He said. " Varad!! " She whined. " No cheating!! C'mon fast! " He said and she closed her eyes. 1  2  3" Okay , open your eyes!!! " He said and she did. To say if Spruha was awestruck would be the understatement of the day!! Because indeed , she was!! There stood her man in all his glory with a beautiful gold diamond heart shaped ring in his hand. She gasped looking at him. " Varad! Ohh wow , this is so cute!! Awww!!! " She smiled looking at him , her eyes watery. He took her hand in his , putting the ring and kissing her delicate fingers. " You liked it? " He asked. " Nah!! I loved it! It's so cute! " She said hugging him. He welcomed her in his embrace. " When did you bought this? " She asked. " When you and dimple were busy shopping!! I found a shop there and loved this ring when I saw , so I thought to gift you!!! " He said and her hold tighten around him. " Aww!! How sweet!! I love you babyyyy! " She said kissing his lips. " I love you too darling! " And sealed his words with a soul–shattering kiss. ...Heyyaa! Quiet a big chapter. I didn't know much about the roka so I took some help from Google. It took me a day and half to complete this update. So , I would like if you appreciate my efforts.
