Chapter 42: Nekroval Part 1

After returning to the hotel safely, it was time to go to urdak to rid the Khan Maykr from the universe.

Geltahmiin: So Who's coming with besides me and Stan.

Charlie: I'll join!

Duke: I said I wanted to save the world and that's what I'm gonna do. So count me in.

BJ: I'm obviously joining in because I'm still revved up from earlier.

Keen: I may as well join too. Plus we've all got our own suits of armor, right?

They all nod.

Stan = Demonic Slayer

Duke = Crimson Slayer

Keen = Midnight Slayer

BJ = Astro Slayer

Geltahmiin: We're the fucking power rangers!

Everyone breaks down laughing.

Duke: The armor Fits well but I would usually say...

They all look at him and say, "Power armor is for pussies."

Duke: Yep. Now let's get going!

Hayden and Vega open up a portal to Nekravol for them. They all walk through to see this.

Hayden speaks over their Comms saying, "Argent energy is made from the souls of hell's victims. This is the factory in which it takes place. Nekravol... city of the damned."

Charlie looks angered as they walk across the broken bridge, Killing Imps and Gargoyles. They stop and beat a few Cyber-Mancubuses to death then demolish an Arachnotron with their arm blades.

A cacodemon flies towards them and Stan does something funny. The others watch as he launches a grenade into its mouth detonating inside of its mouth. He then glory kills it doing a backflip onto his feet.

Stan: Ta-da!

Charlie: Good job babe.

Duke: These gates are locked.

BJ looks around and finds an opening to get inside. With a bit of parkour, he makes it up.

BJ: I'm pretty sure this is the right wa-aaay!

He gets rammed by a pinky. BJ gets up and bombards it with bullets slicing it up. The others follow behind him. After a bit of walking, the group finds some demons and a tyrant. The demons immediately begin attacking them.

Geltahmiin: Wait. I need to try something.

She puts a hand up to a Hell knight who stops. Geltahmiin looks him dead in the eyes and says, "Kill the other demons."

The hell knight nods and proceeds to maul all of the imps, zombies, Gargoyles and damage the Tyrant a bit. It ends up dying to the Tyrant, being squashed by it. The Tyrant then aims its gun at them. Stan and Charlie shoot it in the head with assault rifles diverting it's attention to them.

Geltahmiin uses her old friend Bakasura to blast its legs away. BJ, Duke and Keen proceed to beat it to death. Duke laughs and does something he hasn't done for a while, piss on its corpse.

The other dudes laugh and hop down the pit with him and the girls following. They get into some kind of cage and Hayden speaks once more, "The Khan Maykr needs earth and its souls - her world is dying. The culling allows her people to replenish their resources and survive. As you save your world, you put hers in peril. Up ahead is Kalibas, the sightless judge. It determines who is fit to begin the soul extraction process. The rest will be discarded to the blood swamps."

They're then dropped down in front of a brain with tentacles. It has 4 eyes that float in podiums. Stan whips out his pal, The ballista.

He used the arbalest attachment to its eyeballs lowering its shield. BJ jumps up and punches the brain watching it explode.

They continue their path, Killing heavy demons such as Arachnotrons, Mancubi, Hell knights, and many more. Later on they encounter an Arch vile that Stan immediately slices with his crucible.

The parkour continues as they climb walls and pass flames. They make it to a room in which Hayden speaks more, "The humans must be tortured, the flesh tenderized. Once enough pain has been inflicted, the spirit is broken, the soul is ready for the extraction process."

Charlie gets more enraged seeing the melded bodies of humans in cages. Hearing Hayden talk about how they extract souls, most innocent from the bodies of those humans.

They soon make it to a gate where 2 buttons must be pressed to surpass it. Charlie finds one and presses it while the others search. Stan and Duke come across a hallway in which a Marauder and whiplash were.

Duke: Alrighty dude, you ready?

Stan nods and shoots the Marauder who blocks it with his shield. Duke handles the Whiplash leading up to him slicing it up. Stan keeps battling the Marauder. He soon staggers him, giving Stan the chance to glory kill him by taking his axe, and slicing his head off.

Stan: Ok. Now we can move on.

Duke nods pressing the button, opening the gate entirely. The gang makes it to a room with a statue of Olivia Pierce and a bunch of demons. A couple Doom Hunters enter in and begin going for Stan and BJ.

Stan uses his plasma rifle to blast its protective armor away and finish it off with his crucible. BJ breaks the armor and slaughters the second doom hunter with his shotguns saying, "Don't EVER mess with the terror billy or his family!"

They eventually clear out the entire place working together. Hayden speaks more, "Once the spirit is broken, and enough pain is inflicted, only when the human has lost all hope will it be transferred to the soul extraction chamber."

Stan: Ew. Why is there a statue of Olivia pierce?

Geltahmiin: I dunno. Hold on a moment. We can use that to open up the ground and get out.

Charlie: Good idea.

Stan and Charlie swing across the monkey bars making it up to a side area. They dodge some crushers and flames. Soon they make it behind the top of the statue. Stan lunches it and watches as it falls over, shattering itself and the ground it hit. Everyone jumps into the shaft, taking them to the factory.
