I understand how being away from middle school was one of the best things I could do

After such an experience

I don't ever want to look back

New places

Location

Atmosphere

Studies

It's amazing.

It's great.

I don't ever want to go back.

I want to continue to travel this way

Back there I was so stressed

Not about classes, homework, or studies

But things that didn't matter

Things like other kids and what they thought of me

Things like my friends and how they were connected to drama

Lies, regrets, ex friends, people who knew about my secret

But here and only here did I stress about classes, and homework, and my future

Things that matter

Not things that just add to my frustration and anger at the world

Here I was, for the most part, genuinely happy

I didn't feel judged

No one was a coward cunt

And I really connected with these people

I got out of my own head

I understand now

I understand how this is what changes people

New experiences

I understand you D

And I never want to forget this understanding..........
