Chapter 26 - 37: Getting on the Car

He spoke and sat in the car, driving away in his sports car. The fallen leaves on the ground were lifted by the wind, floating in mid-air, conveying a sense of loneliness.

“Do I even have his number?” She wondered, casually flipping through her phone, only to be surprised. In her contact list, the first two names were I-Xiao

Dragging her aching foot, she took small steps forward.

“Come on, tell your fellow students about the scandalous things you’ve done,” the woman’s voice was harsh, as if she had come prepared.

“Alright,” the police replied, not insisting on taking her in immediately.

A couple of professors wanted to speak up for her but were held back by others.

“Principal, you’re expelling me without even knowing the whole story? Aren’t you even going to ask what happened?” Gu Chuyan sounded bitter.

“You attacked someone, the entire class witnessed it. We have a letter of complaint,” The principal responded, accepting a complaint letter handed over by his secretary.

Everyone had signed it, except for Yao Rong.

“Heh,” she suddenly laughed, a laugh filled with desperation.

So, no matter if it was the Gu Family or the school, the hypocrisy of these people…. they were all the same!
