Chapter 27 - 38: The Procedures are Completed

“Principal, the procedures have been completed.” The secretary comes forward with the expulsion paperwork and hands it to the principal.

The principal personally hands the pen to Gu Chuyan, saying, “Sign it! From now on, you are no longer a student of this school.”

“I won’t sign! Why should I sign?” Gu Chuyan snatches the contract out of his hands and rips it with force, throwing it towards the principal. She glares fiercely at the faces of the others before she turns around and runs out.

“Gu Chuyan, you are shameless! Having a student like you embarrasses me.” At this point, Professor Li steps forward and scolds her.

Gu Chuyan halts and leaves without looking back.

As she runs out, a rain begins to fall. Gu Chuyan recklessly runs out, feeling the weight of the gazes around her, as if they wanted to tear her apart.

“It must be a conspiracy, it must be,” she whispers to herself. She can’t believe that such a minor incident could get her expelled.

The rain hits her, somehow making her even more calm! As she stands up to leave, she suddenly hears a familiar voice and stops in her tracks.

“It was me! I’ve given the money to the principal already! He’s promised to expel Gu Chuyan.”

“Professor Li is my uncle! He adores me the most. Seeing me being hit, I played a little trick and knelt in front of him! As soon as he saw it, he would certainly report her to the principal! Even if the principal were kind, she would certainly be expelled.”

Xie Tianli is seen leaning against a wall with an umbrella, leisurely making a call. Obviously, someone directed her to do this.

“Stop.” Gu Chuyan raises her hand, blocking the brick! She counterattacks by gripping her arm and throwing her to the ground.

Xie Tianli didn’t expect her strength to be so great and finds herself pinned underneath Gu Chuyan as the rain continues to fall.

Gu Chuyan, holding Xie Tianli down, asks coldly, “Tell me, who exactly is it, or believe it or not, I will take you down with me?”

Xie Tianli struggles, her eyes rolling back into her head.

“I’ll say, I’ll say, she is, she is…” She goes on.

Gu Chuyan listens but she can’t understand what she’s saying and moves closer to hear clearer.

Suddenly, Xie Tianli counterattacks, throwing her onto the ground and grabbing a brick aiming to hit her head.

Gu Chuyan rolls to the side and grips her wrist, causing Xie Tianli to scream and drop the brick, which lands on her, leaving her breathless.

“Speak!” Gu Chuyan is furious, not understanding who is constantly against her. Did she look easy to bully?

“Gu Chuyan, what are you doing?” At this point, the voice of Professor Li can be heard.

When Gu Chuyan hears this, she turns around but is forcefully pushed by Xie Tianli as Professor Li intends to reprimand her. Gu Chuyan counterattacks, grabbing Xie Tianli’s leg and dragging her to one side.

“So your uncle is a professor? He’s just a professor, right?” she states and backhands her. She forcefully holds her head down and yanks her hair..
