Lily's POV~
"Okay, are you sure you don't want to just borrow my car? Or have me compel you a jet?" I ask Hope as we're standing at the bus stop. When I ask this she gives a small laugh, and turns to me with a smile. "I'll be fine on the bus Lil. Are you sure you don't want to come with me? I mean, of course, I'll face time and call, and text, but I just got you back." I just shake my head with a small smile.
"Maybe in a few weeks, but I think your family should adjust to you being you know, not erased, before I come visit. Besides, they're not very happy with me right now after I kidnapped Davina and brought unwillingly to New Orleans, was a mean emotionless bitch almost all summer, and then proceeded to kidnap your Aunt Freya and bring her here the other day." saying this made her laugh.
"Yeah okay, maybe we should give them time to adjust before you come visit." "You think?" I ask sarcastically, making both of us laugh. Before I know it, Hope has her arms around my neck and wrap mine around her waist and she gives me a small peck on the lips.
"Have I ever told you I loved you?" I ask with an adoring smile as I look her in the eyes. "No you haven't, I think yo should say it right now." she answers playfully matching me chuckle. "Well in that case. I love you, Hope Andrea Mikaelson." hearing this, Hope smiles lightly, "And I love you Lillian Estrella Forbes-Salvatore." as we lean in to give each other a goodbye kiss, Landon runs up to us.
"Wait! Don't go!" "Landon?" Hope asks whilst pulling away from me. "Hope, don't go. I need you. I'll-I'll come with you, but I can't lose you again because despite trying not to, I love you Hope Mikaelson." Landon says frantically, and if we weren't in public, I'd snap his neck.
"Landon? What? I'm sorry but-" Hope begins to say, and then we hear someone behind us. "Ah hell. You had to find Hope?" turning to the voice, I see Josie and... Landon. "Great. Now there's two of them." I say and I drop my arms to my sides dramatically.

"Simu-Landon. I manifested my subconscious from the prism and then Josie turned him into a Gollum. Show them." Landon says, and simu-mophead pulls his shirt down to reveal the glowing prism. "We're gonna use him as a decoy. We're gonna let the sphinx take him into the portal." "I don't want to go into the portal. I want to stay here with Hope." Simu-Landon says, and he takes Hope's hand, making glare.
As I'm about to do something about it, Hope pulls her hand away and shoots a little closer to me. "Uh, I think we need to have a little talk with your subconscious about personal space." "And about the fact that she has a girlfriend." I add in my input, glare still fully intact.
"I didn't realize he'd be so vocal. And fast. He ran away after we created him, to find you, I guess. There's one catch. Josie bound him to the lunar cycle so when the moon reaches its apex tomorrow night, simu-me will disintegrate." Landon says and simu-Landon's eyes almost bulges out of his skull. "What?! Uh... No one told me that part."
"Not that I won't be happy to be rid of attack of the clone over here-" I pause, gesturing to Simu-Landon, "but how does that close the Malivore portal?"
"That's where you two come in. We're going to pump him full of you yours and Lily's blood before he goes into the Malivore portal." Landon responds, looking at Hope. "Wait why my blood?" I ask, but before he can respond Hope speaks, "My blood isn't enough to keep the portal closed I have to activate my vampire side to keep it closed, Malivore is just going to open a new portal." "Not if there isn't anything to spit out. Simu-me will disintegrate before Malivore gets the chance to spit him out. And also, that's why we need Lily, she's full of hybrid witch-vampire blood, with both of them combined it should work. Both problems solved, life goes back to normal-ish." Landon responds.
"Well yay, once the portals closed them my sister's boyfriend goes back to being in love with my girlfriend. Super great." I say sarcastically as I get up and start to walk away. Hope calls out for me to come back but I just keep walking.
Walking up to the door of my sisters' room, I hear Lizzie speak, "And you thought it was a good idea to give Landon's subconscious a voice?" "Its the only way anyone thought to close the portal." "Or maybe you just wanted him to spill the beans of who he really wants." Lizzie fires back, and I open the door. "Pretty sure we got that question well answered considering I can still hear muppet junior down there continuously professing his love for my girlfriend." I say as I walk over and face plant into Lizzie's bed.
"Yeah, trust me, it's not fun for me either Lil. Now come on, up you go, you have to go to Landon's room and set up for the whole blood transfer thing." Josie tells me whilst pulling me off Lizzie's bed and dragging me towards Landon's room. "Yay, time to go to muppet treasure island. Home of the muppet king." I say and as we walk out of the room I hear Lizzie burst out laughing by my comment.

After trying to get him to hold still and failing, I flick Simu-Landon in the arm with vampire strength. "ow." "Stop moving bonsai-head or I'm going to have to stab you more than once." I say and he finally stops moving. Thank god. "You know you're very mean." he tells me and I just roll my eyes and I put the needle in his arm and tape it down with medical tape from the nurse's office, taking off the elastic band I had on his arm to help the vein pop up. "Yes I know, and I don't care." with that, I walk over to Hope.
"Babe let me see your arm please." I ask lightly, and she holds her arm out, which I take gently in one hand and rub alcohol on it with my other hand. "See, you're nice to Hope. Who can't you be nice to me?" Simu-Landon asks, to which is just roll my eyes. "Because Hope is my best friend, and my girlfriend. You, are simply someone who gets on my nerves. Now shut up." with that reply, he does what he's told and I throw away the cotton ball I was using before tying the elastic band around Hope's arm and grabbing the needle next to me.
"You sure look like you know what you're doing Lil." Hope says as she watches my stick the needle in her arm and tape it down. "Yeah, well you can thank my Aunt Elena. I guess spending a lot of time in her office for a few weeks every summer has its upsides."Â I tell her with a small smile whilst doing the same thing to my own arm.

After a while, I was laying in the bed opposite to the one Hope is on, I pushed it closer to the bed Hope is on, and Simu-Landon in on a chair in the middle next to the machine that pumps mine and Hope's blood into him. Simu-Landon keeps talking to Hope, but I'm only half listening. I have my eyes closed with my headphones on playing music.
"I didn't know I was so afraid of needles. I guess I'll have to add it to the list... Small spaces, uh... Bugs with wings, doors on hinges, Lily, sorry, am I talking too much? I just, I get charity when I'm nervous." I hear him say. "Why don't we just and wait, 'mkay? In silence." I hear Hope respond, it almost makes me laugh. Almost.
After about a minute of no one speaking, clone speaks again. "So why are you leaving town?" "You afraid of the quiet too?" Hope asks, "I'm dead soon. What's the harm in talking?" "I'm not gonna stay because I don't want to be where I'm not welcome."
"But you being here. This school is meant for vampires witches and werewolves, you're all three.-" "Yeah I know, on paper it makes sense but, it's complicated." "What's so complicated? Your friends didn't want you to have to go into the portal so they created me. To die." "Don't say that." "What? It's true. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to keep you safe."
"You really do say whatever it is that's on your mind don't you." "Must be the subconscious prism thing. I'm sorry Landon can't. I'm not afraid to admit I'm a coward but he is. That's why he can't say that he wants you to stay. That why he's not here right now telling you how he feels. That and he's deathly afraid of Lily. And that girl right there... She definitely wants you to stay too. I've seen it since I first laid eyes on you two, how you act around each other. It's different from how you act around other people. You both would do anything for each other. That's why she's here right now, giving me her blood. Not for me, not for this school to be safe. But for you. So stay. You being here. With her. With your friends." When I hear Simu-Landon say the last part, I smile a little.

Later after Lizzie took muppet junior away, I take out my headphones and look at Hope. "You know... The bonsai-clone was right. We do want you to stay. Me especially, but I think you knew that one already." I say with a small smile, making her laugh a little. "You heard him? I thought you were asleep." she replies with a small smile of her own.
"No, I was just listening to music, but with vamp hearing, I heard what you guys were talking about. Can't really turn off my ears." I answer her, but before she can respond Alaric comes in. "The school has been evacuated. And both of you are in no shape to move. You'll be safe here." he tells us after he sat at the end of the bed Hope is on.
"Wait what's going on?" we ask at the same time. "In a nutshell, Professor Gary Poppins was a trojan horse for agent Clarke, the sphinx doesn't want Landon for reasons no one can decipher, and Josie accidentally created a dark object of indeterminate power." He explains as he stands up. "We should be helping." I say as Hope and I both go to sit up, but Alaric stops us, pushing us both back down in the beds. "You have just enough blood in your systems to breathe. Lay here and heal, while I patrol the school. I'll be right back." with that he leaves.
Right after he leaves, I slowly stand up. "Lily, where are you going?" Hope asks, watching me as I go to the door. "To get water. And food. We'd heal faster if we get the blood in our bodies flowing so our hearts can make more. You want anything? Water? Juice? Some sort of food?" I ask as I open the door. Hope just shakes her head no, and I give her a blank look. "Well since you said no. That means I get to choose for you, because there's no way in hell I'm letting not eat or drink anything after we gave most of our blood to a clone wars wanna be." once I said that I left the room, and I can hear Hope laughing a little as I leave.

After a few minutes, I finally make it to the kitchen, and when I do, I hear someone upstairs. "Hope? Hope?" "Shit. Fucking Clarke." I say to myself and vamp speed to the kitchen door, but stop once I get there. Catching myself on the door frame, I have to catch my breath. "Uggghh. Okay, vamp speeding when you have no like no blood, not a good idea Lily." I tell myself.
After a few minutes of catching my breath, I hear Clarke banging on a door upstairs. But I also hear something, or should I say someone fall onto the ground outside.
Catching up to Hope took a few minutes, fuck is she fast, even with like no blood in her. When I finally do reach her, I see Clarke being punched by Landon. And then Clarke throws Hope to the ground. That makes me pick up my pace and kneel down next to her. "I heard you scream are you okay?" Landon asks as I grab her hands and start unlocking the shackles on them. "Better now that you're both here." she answers, and gently squeezes my hands in her own.
"You should've jumped into the pit instead of your little girlfriend. Are you two together? It's so hard to remember with all this who loves who relationship drama." Clarke says to Landon, making me roll my eyes. "Do you ever get tired of listening to yourself talk? I mean your voice is really annoying." I say while standing up. "Well you won't have to hear it much longer." he says, and he goes to try and stab me with a small trident but before he can I kick him across the yard close to Landon.
As they start to fight, I walk over to them, and when Clarke tries to stab him, I break his wrist, knocking the trident out of his hand. "I might not like Landon at all, but if anyone is going to stab him, it's me. And not with some weird magic fork." I say and throw him to the ground.
When Clarke hits the ground, he kicks my legs, making me fall in the ground as well. Before he gets another chance to hit me, Landon throws him, but Clarke begins to beat him. "I don't see what dear old dad sees in you.sure you're are immortal but you have no magic. Someone always has to swoop in and save your ass." "I don't care what you or our father think. I only care about her" Landon responds while pointing at Hope.
As Clarke goes to stab Landon, Hope wraps the chains that were previously on her, around his wrist making him spin around, and she hits him. After a second of her throwing punches, he throws her, and I catch her. "Sorry Hope. This is family business." he says in his normal snarky tone, making me roll my eyes. Then, I smirk and hold out my hand, "Motus." then he flies back a few feet, getting the wind knocked out of him before he and Landon start fighting again, and Landon puts Clarke in a headlock.
"Okay, I'm a little impressed." I say at the same time Hope says around the same thing. "Don't be. He'll always be the inferior son." "Doesn't look like it from this angle." Landon replies, making me laugh a little, earning a glare from Clarke which I simply return.
"Just do it. You don't need them, you need me. Do it." Landon taunts his brother, making raise my eyebrows in anticipation. "Anyone want to tell me the magic fork does?" I ask, but get ignored. Hope yells at him to stop but it doesn't work. Clarke stabs Landon with the trident. "Not what I planned but... At least Phoenix's are immortal." Clarke says as he turns sound to look at Landon. Then, Landon pulls down his shirt. It's Simu-Landon. "Now you die tomorrow. Boom. I rule." Simu-Landon says, and Clarke looks pissed. "Oh come on!" he says before falling to the ground.
Then, this weird like comes out of Clarke and into the muppet-clone.
"Well. This just took a turn..... You're gonna whammy me aren't you?" clone-Clarke asks, and I just nod whilst Hope says yeah. "Remember I'm already dealing with the trauma that I'm about to die" he states quickly, which makes me smile sweetly. "Of course, makes it all the more fun." I answer, and right after, Hope and I throw different spells at him, he flies back and blacks out. Turning to Hope, I raise my eyebrows, "So what does the magic fork do exactly?" I ask, which makes her laugh.
"Come on, I'll tell you on the way inside." she responds while grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the school.

Hope's POV~
After locking Clarke/Simu-Landon up, Lily went to shower, and I went to the twins' room. Getting their attention by knocking on the open door, I speak. "Hi... Can... I talk to Josie for a second?" I ask lightly, and Lizzie stands up. "Sure. I'll go get some ice." with that, she leaves Josie and I alone.
"How are you feeling?" I ask, breaking the somewhat awkward silence. "Used... But I'm glad you and my sister are okay." she answers softly. "Are you okay?" I ask in the same tone. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm just a little drained." "Yeah I know the feeling." "Well you should probably rest." Josie answers kindly. "Yeah I will but-"
I pause and take a seat at the edge of her bed, "I wanted to know if it was okay with you to come back to school... I miss it. I miss my classes, miss morning meeting, super squad, Lily making these cheesy yet really funny jokes when we're studying for a test late at night. I even miss Lizzie being mean to me. I miss you. But I won't come back if me being here brings you any more pain, I know today with Landon subconscious running around wasn't fun on either side, but I know that it hurt you a lot... What's that?" I ask once we hear this scratching noise. Josie reaches over in her nightstand and picks up a book.
"Penelope's burn book. Someone must be using her pen." she answers, reading what the person is writing. Suddenly she's in tears. "Who is it?" I ask, and she looks at me with sad eyes. "Its Landon." scooting over so I can see what he's writing, he writes that he's leaving. That he's caused too much heartache and that once he leaves, the monsters will too. I close the book, and Josie takes my hand.
"He made his choice. We can make ours. Landon or no Landon, Malivore or no Malivore, you being here. I want you to stay. And I know I'm not the only one." Josie tells me, making me smile. "I'm really sorry, about Landon." I say, and she just smiles lightly before hugging me. "It wasn't your fault Hope." I hear her say.
When we pull away, we look at the door as we hear Lizzie speak up, "Something told me I needed to upgrade from ice, to ice cream." she says, holding up four spoons. "And that something was me," Lily says as she walks in the room with popcorn, banners and few other things. She speeds around really fast and then plops on the bed in between me and Josie, a movie all set up for when we're not talking.
"I can tell we are all feeling a lot of emotions right now." Lizzie starts speaking as we all grab a spoon. "So get this, dad says that I'm not allowed to give Sebastian the boot until he has 'checked him out' and now that there's no headmaster, no one is going punish MG for his weasely little ways. How ridiculous is that?" at this, Lily gets a small smirk on her face. One I know all too well. "Well Liz, we could always, I don't know, give him a 24-hour hex. I mean, if you really want to." she says in a mischievous tone whilst eating a spoon of ice cream, making Lizzie raise her eyebrows, meaning she's considering it.
"Lily, don't put ideas into her head." Josie tells her sister sternly, making her shrug, "What?! It's just a tiny-winy spell and then boom, MG is vomiting slugs all day like in Harry Potter. Or we could make him vomit snakes, seeing as he was being snakey." Lily responds, obviously not caring about the scolding Josie would do to her. "I like that, well done Lillian, we'll do it tomorrow." Lizzie responds, making me laugh, and Lily smile brightly.
