Third person point of view
Luke stretched a little and went to sit at his chair. As he sat on his chair, he saw his phone ring. He picked it up with a smile. Ken rolled his eyes at the smile on Luke's face. He knew it must be Leo. " Hello darling ". Leo was too happy to retort it. " I have a good news ". Luke could feel the smile on Leo's face clearly. " Wow. What happened to make you so happy ? " Luke was surprised. " Someone came to visit me regarding the gallery. They said they are willing to invest at anytime I ask them to ". Luke was very happy when he heard it.
" Wow. That's awesome news. Congratulations ". Leo smiled happily. " Thank you so much ". Leo was smiling from ear to ear. He heard a knock on his door. " Hold on a sec Luke ". " Sure, go ahead ". Luke waited without hanging up. Zara came in. " Sir. Two companies have contacted to apologize and they want to continue the projects ". Leo could see the glow in Zara's eyes. Leo was surprised as well.
" Is it so ? " Zara nodded. " Then make sure we have a meeting and then we will settle it ". Zara nodded and left. " Hey ". Leo said into the phone. " I am there ". Luke smiled. " Something else happened. The companies which cancelled the contract called back saying they want to continue them ". " Really ? " Luke knew it would happen, but his surprised expression was not totally fake. He didn't expect them to do it so quickly.
" Woah! Looks like luck is on my side today ". Luke chuckled. " True, it seems like it ". " I was worried about things going wrong, but they seem to be falling in place again ". " Yeah. They are ". Luke smiled. " I am hanging up then. Bye ". " Okay. Bye ". Leo hung up and took a deep breath. The past few days were hectic. He was busy trying to keep the contracts without losing them. And found out that Kayla threw a tantrum saying the work load was too much. He felt his life span go down by 10 years.
But now things took a turn. He felt at peace. If not totally, to some extent he was happy. Luke smiled at Ken wiggling his eyebrows. " What is it ? " Ken asked curious about what made Luke smile so wide. " Someone contacted Leo saying they are going to invest in his gallery and the companies are contacting him back for the projects ". Ken smiled too.
" That's awesome news ". " You want to come with us ? I thought of taking Leo out for dinner ". Ken rolled his eyes. " No thank you. I don't want to be a third wheel. You both can enjoy your dinner ". Luke laughed at Ken's response. " Don't be jealous. Your man will you take you out too some day ". Ken's eyes went wide. " What the hell are you saying ? And 'MY MAN' ?! " Luke laughed at Ken's response. " Fine, fine. I actually thought of asking Jade too. So don't worry. You won't be a third wheel ". Ken nodded. " Fine then. Let's go ".
" It is a double date then ". Ken raised his hand to throw the file on Luke. Luke raised his hands ready to defend, but Ken dropped his hand blushing lightly. Luke shook his head smiling. He looked sat back in his chair closing his eyes and let out a sigh feeling relieved. Ken smiled too. " Looks like things are getting in their place. Only a few more are left. Then you can take the final big crashing step ". Luke smirked. " Yes ". Ken winked. " I will leave for now. See you later and send me the location ". Ken smiled and left the room. Luke smiled.
He was willing to tell Leo about his feelings, but was slightly scared. Even if it sounded funny, it was the truth. They were married without even their consent. But then they got along fine. A little maybe. They argue at times, but still reconcile. He wanted to say how he felt about Leo. He was going to plan it in a few more days. Along with all these he was planning to tell Leo about all the plans. He was afraid of Leo's reaction. But then he didn't know if it was the right thing to do by hiding it from him. He sighed at the thought. He put all those thoughts aside and got back to his work.
Luke decided to surprise Leo. He asked Ken to bring his bike to the office. Once Luke was done with the work he dashed out of the office to go to Leo. He drove to Leo's office and parked to a side. He removed his helmet and put it on the bike. He took out his phone to call Leo. Leo was wondering why Luke called him at this time. " What is it ? " " Come down ". Leo was confused. " What ? "
" Just come down and out of the building. Now ". " Okay, I am ". Leo walked out of the building and was looking around. He found Luke who was leaning against a bike and smiling in his direction. He was shocked to see him there. Leo didn't even take his coat with him and was only in his dress shirt tucked into the pants. He walked up to Luke. " Surprise ". Luke said smiling when Leo came closer. " What are you doing here ? " " I wanted to take you out to dinner. So I came here ". Leo was happy and he smiled.
Luke grinned seeing that Leo was happy. " But you should have told me. I would have brought my coat at least ". Luke rolled his eyes. He removed his and put it on Leo. " Oh~~ So caring ". " Of course I am ". Luke laughed. " But the things-"Â " It is fine. Ask someone to send your coat and car to our home. We will leave now. Hop on ". He handed Leo a helmet and got on the bike. " You never told me you had a bike ". " I used it long ago. I was crazy about it at that time. I rarely take it out nowadays. But now I wanted to take you out on this. So I took it out of the garage ". Leo nodded. " Cool ".
Luke chuckled. " You like it ? " Leo nodded as he hopped on the bike. " Ready ? " Leo put his hands around Luke's waist, holding him tightly. " Yes ". " Let's go ". With that Luke drove away to their destination. They walked into the restaurant. " Oh I forgot to tell you. Ken and Jade are here too ". " Oh cool. We didn't get together to just sit and have a nice meal ". They saw Ken and Jade who were already at their table. " Hey ". They all greeted each other happily. " It is so nice to have all of us together ".
Luke said smiling. " Yeah. It is really good ". Jade said smiling. They all ordered food and happily finished their food. They all enjoyed a lot because it has been a while since they had some quality time to talk happily putting all the worries aside. Luke and Ken didn't even have wine because they will be driving. Once they were done, they went in their separate ways. Luke drove them back home. Leo wasn't drunk but he was a bit tipsy. Luke walked him in and to their room.
" Sit here. I will run the water for you ". Leo pulled Luke back and made him sit on the bed beside him. He held onto Luke's arm and rested his head on Luke's shoulder. " Stay here ". Leo said hugging Luke's arm tighter. Luke chuckled. " What is it ? " " I feel happy ". Leo smiled and looked up at Luke. " Thank you. For making me happy ". Luke smiled and ruffled Leo's hair. " You need not thank me. I will do anything for you ". Leo kissed Luke's cheek. Luke chuckled. " Come now. You should take a shower ".
Leo nodded obediently. But he still held onto Luke and walked into the bathroom along with him. Once he was done showering and dressing up, he fell face first onto the bed. Luke shook his head and walked into the bathroom. When he came out after the shower, he saw Leo still in the same position. He crawled beside him and observed Leo's face.
" Are you sleeping ? " Leo shook his head which was still buried in the pillow. He moved closer to Luke and hugged him tightly. " Now I can ". Luke smiled and put his hands around Leo. " Good night ". " Good night ". Leo yawned and nuzzled his face on Luke's chest. Both of them fell asleep.
On the other hand, Ken drove to Jade's house. " Thank you so much ". Jade said smiling at Ken. " No mention ". Ken smiled. " I feel at peace seeing things fall into place ". Jade said looking straight ahead. " Me too. Also thank you for your help too ". Jade shook his head. " You need not thank me. It is something I can do. And it is for the closest people of mine ". Jade said looking at Ken. Ken smiled nodding.
Jade's eyes were a little hooded. He has a nice amount of alcohol in his system. He sat up properly trying to make himself feel more awake. " I will leave then. Bye ". Jade said turning to Ken. Ken turned to Jade too. " Bye. See you tomorrow ". Jade removed his seat belt and moved towards Ken. He kissed Ken on his cheek almost near his lips. Ken sat frozen. " Good night. Drive safe ".
Jade got out of the car and walked into his house. Ken put his hand to his chest and his heart was beating so hard. He let out a breath trying to get his brain to work. He took a breath and patted his cheeks which felt warm. He started the car and drove back to go to his own house, smiling to himself.

I guess you guys have to wait for Luke's proposal. My crazy, sadistic and psycho side pops up every time I write something nice like that. ð Making me think of all kinds of crazy scenarios. ð¤£
