This is absolutely hilarious! Rosaline and Lewis couldnât stop laughing.
Despite taking good care of herself and having no wrinkles, Rosaline had a face full of laughter lines.
But seeing their sonâs family of six, each one a little treasure, was such a thrill!
Of course, it would be even more wonderful if Emmeline delivered two more. granddaughters!
After playing with the children, everyone sat down to eat.
âAbel, what the kids said earlier is true. Your grandfatherâs 80th birthday is the day after tomorrow.
Weâve already made all the necessary preparations, but weâre worried that something might slip through the cracks. Thatâs why we asked you and Emmeline to come. over today to discuss whether thereâs anything else we need to do. If there is, we still have one more day to fix it.â
âEmmeline and I have taken care of everything on our end, so there shouldnât be any oversights,â Abel stated after going over everything in his head.
âThatâs good to hear,â Rosaline responded. âThe entire Struyria is watching your grandfatherâs 80th birthday; we canât afford any mistakes or embarrassing moments.â
âMom and Dad, please rest assured,â Abel added. âAlthough Uncle at Meriwether Mansion is the main organizer, Emmeline and I have made all necessary preparations; there will be no oversights.â
âI think everything is fine, too,â Emmeline replied. âThe gifts have been prepared, and the congratulatory message has been recorded; we have everything we need.
âWeâve also prepared a gift for Great-Grandfather,â Timothy remarked. âI checked it for my little brothers today, and thereâs no problem at all.â
âThatâs good,â Abel said, patting Timothy on the back of his head. âAs the oldest brother, your should set a good example for your younger brothers.â
âI know,â Timothy said, nodding. âMom and Dad can relax; I will look after my younger brothers.â
âGood boy,â Emmeline said as she patted Timothy on the head. âOur Timothy is becoming more and more like a responsible older brother, and Mom and Dad are naturally reassured!â
Sun cast his ballot, saying, âI support Timothy!â
Moon raised her hand as well, saying, âMe too!â
âAnd me!â Star didnât want to be forgotten.
âItâs best if your four brothers are united and harmonious; with unity, you can achieve anything!â Lewis told his grandchildren.
Rosaline agreed, saying, âA single chopstick can be easily broken, but a bundle of chopsticks. is unbreakable.â
âGrandad and Granny are right!â Emmeline lifted her glass to Munchkin and said, âLetâs toast to Grandad and Granny together!â
âTo Grandad and Granny!â Munchkin exclaimed as he lifted his fruit smoothie.
Abel raised his glass as well, and the entire family toasted Lewis and Rosaline.
âMom and Dad, youâve worked really hard!â
âGrandad and Granny, youâve worked extremely hard!â
âThank you, Mom and Dad!â
Lewis and Rosaline graciously accepted everyoneâs toast, and the entire family thoroughly enjoyed their supper.
After lunch, Emmeline took Munchkin for a walk in the garden and then went upstairs to check on their slumber.
All four youngsters were well-behaved, resting on their individual childrenâs beds in their respective rooms, and quickly fell asleep.
Abel and Emmeline also rested in their rooms before leaving by car.
Lewis and Rosaline were getting older, so they could take longer naps without being disturbed.
Abel wanted to go to Nightfall Cafe for coffee after leaving Levan Mansion, but Emmeline wanted to work out.
âWe ate so much for lunch; if we donât move around, weâll gain weight.â
âI like it if you gain weight,â Abel replied as he took the wheel. âDonât always think about. losing weight.â
âI donât care if you like it or not!â Emmeline stated, âWhether I gain or lose weight, itâs not for you to judge. My body, my decision! I donât want to gain weight because it will make me sluggish. It has nothing to do with whether you like it or not.â
âThen Iâll listen to you,â Abel indulgently responded. âHow about going to Tonyâs gym for a little while?â
Emmeline paused for a moment before nodding. That works; letâs go there.â
She then grabbed Abelâs arm and pouted, âYou need to exercise too, or Iâll be the first to dislike you!â
âDonât worry, even when Iâm seventy years old, I wonât turn into a greasy uncle!â Abel declared.
