Liviana’s POV

“Liviana” dad held my shoulder.

I didn’t look at him.

I only looked at Luis Grey as I tightened my grip on his neck making him choke.

“Liviana, everyone else needs our help right now” he told me.

My jaw clenched.

“Bring everyone down” I said in gritted teeth.

“And someone watch this one” I said and slammed Luis Grey on the wall roughly making him g***n.

“I’ll do it and bring some more men, Liviana. Don’t worry” my grandfather assured me.

I stared at Luis Grey.

“I’m not fcking done with you” I said and let him go as he gasped for air.

I turned my back on him as I watch some of my warriors tie up the other men.

My dad and uncle Dante followed me upstairs.

The fight was still on going there.

My eyes roamed around and it landed on Rolan and Abe as they fought.

From the other side, I saw Axel and Beau fighting.

Then suddenly, they shifted into their wolves.

Even before they can attack I lifted them off the ground.

Then, I shoved the other men to the side.

My men turned to look at me with a bow.

I made my way through them as everyone stepped aside.

I reached where Abe and Beau were.

They were struggling mid-air as they growled at me.

Rolan and Axel took a step back.

Then, my eyes searched for someone else again.

“Where’s the she-wolf?” I asked.

Abe and Beau growled louder.

“We’re not sure, your highness” Axel said.

I sighed.

I closed my eyes as I searched for Cassandra.

Then, I found her.

“In that room” I said and pointed to a room.

“She’s inside the closet. Take her out here” I said.

Axel nodded and rushed to that room.

Abe and Beau continued to growl and snarl at me as they were in the air.

I looked at them.

“Shift back and don’t get my men or yourselves hurt. It’s no use” I said.

They kept growling at me.

“Stop being a pair of stubborn btches, Abe and Beau. I’m not trying to hurt the both of you” I said and looked at them in the eye.

“It’s me. It’s Liviana” I told them.

I saw as their wolves’ eyes widened in shock.

“Shift back and get dressed. Don’t you guys dare to suddenly attack us” I said.

I opened a room and made them go inside before shutting the door with my powers.

Then, Axel came out the other room holding Cassandra by the arm.

“Let me go!” she screamed.

“Please! Let me go!” she begged.

“Cassandra” I called her.

Cassandra turned to look at me.

She looked at me confused.

“Let her go, Axel” I told Axel.

Axel did as he was told.

“W-who are you?” she stuttered as she looked at me.

“Who do you think I am?” I said.

Cassandra hesitantly stepped closer to me as she looked at me.

I closed my eyes and when I opened them, they were already blue.

Cassandra’s eyes widened.

“Livi!” she said and rushed to hug me.

She hugged me tightly as she burst into tears.

“Omyghad it’s you. It’s really you” she sobbed as she hugged me.

I caressed her back.

“Hush. It’s me.They’re not going to hurt you. I’m not going to hurt you” I assured her.

“I was so scared” she cried.

I caressed her hair.

Then the door where I threw in Abe and Beau opened and they came out as they looked at us.

I turned to look at them with my blue eyes.

Their eyes widened in realization.

“L-Livi?” they said.

I nodded.

Cassandra looked at them.

“Livi is alive. Look” she said and made me face them.

I slightly chuckled.

“Is it really Livi?” Abe said as he looked at me wide eyed.

“It’s been a while since someone called me Livi but yes” I said.

Abe and Beau glanced at each other and rushed to me and hugged me.

“Ghad. Where have you been all this time?” Beau said.

“It’s a long story” I said as we separated.

I glanced behind me as my dad, my grandfather, uncle Dante, Rolan and Axel watched us.

Abe, Beau and Cassandra glanced back as well and their eyes widened once more.

“King Kale?” they muttered.

I nodded.

“I’ll explain some other time. Right now, I need to hurry and end all of this” I said.

The 3 of them glanced at one another.

“We’re done here. We’re going down now” Rainer suddenly mind linked me.

“I have him, Liviana” he added.

I gulped.

“Okay. We’ll go down now” I replied to him.

I glanced behind me.

“Go down first” I said.

“Let’s go down together” my dad insisted.

I shook my head.

“I need to ask Abe, Beau and Cassandra a few things first. Rainer is heading down now. He needs all of you there” I told them.

They sighed.

“Axel, stay with her highness” Rolan told Axel.

Axel nodded.

“Yes, captain” Axel obeyed.

Then, everyone left to go down.

“Her highness?” Abe said.

I bit my lower l*p and looked away as I switched from my blue eyes to my golden ones.

“Like I told you, it’s a long story” I said.

“Who are these people, Livi?” Beau asked then glanced at Axel with a frown.

“My men” I said.

“Did you become an Alpha in another pack?” Cassandra asked curiously.

I shook my head.

“I’m not an Alpha” I said and glanced at Axel.

“Then, what are you?” they asked.

I sighed.

“I’m the Queen of Halo” I said and looked at them.

Their eyes widened.

“I don’t have time to tell you every detail right now. What I need to know right now is…” I said pausing.

“How Luan is doing?” I said.

They glanced at each other again.

“Luan changed a lot since you…disappeared” Beau started.

“Before he was crowned, he spent all his time going around Lunar to find you” Abe continued.

“Luan became depressed, Livi. He mourned over you day and night” Cassandra said.

“He…” Abe said and gulped.

Beau gave him a pat on the back.

“He lost his self when he lost you” Abe continued.

My heart ached.

“He became King for one reason, Livi” Beau said and sighed.

“Luan became King because he said that it was the only way that he can make it up to you for not being able to protect you” Beau said.

I gulped as I turned away from them.

“He was drowning in darkness but he still took on his responsibilities not because he wanted to as the prince but because he didn’t want to disappoint you any more than he already has” Beau added.

“Axel, take them down with everyone else. I’ll follow you guys in a moment” I told Axel.

Axel eyed me and nodded.

“Come with me” Axel told them.

“Livi” Cassandra said softly as she reached out to me.

“I’m fine” I said and gave her a small smile.

They left and my knees immediately gave out as I covered my mouth to stifle a sob.

My eyes turned to its original blue again as if a switch was turned off inside of me as I kneeled on the floor helplessly.

“Luan became King because he said that it was the only way that he can make it up to you for not being able to protect you” Beau’s words repeated in my head.

“He was drowning in darkness but he still took on the responsibilities of being King not because he wanted to but because he didn’t want to disappoint you any more than he already has” it kept repeating in my mind.

I clenched my fists and bit my lower l*p as tears streamed down my face.

Luan didn’t want to be King.

Luan only agree to become Lunar’s King…because of me?

He was already suffering so much but he put such a heavy burden on his shoulders just because he’s been regretting what happened 3 years ago.

I wiped my tears as I stood up.

My eyes glowed bright gold again and I took a deep breath.

Right now isn’t the time for a breakdown.

I clenched my jaw as I made my way down.

There I saw all my men and the men of Lunar as they were all cuffed and restrained.

I can still hear the others outside trying to break inside to no avail.

I saw Rainer and he turned to look at my direction.

I made my way downstairs and everyone turned to look at my direction.

Then, I met eyes with him.

With Luan.

His eyes slightly widened as he looked at me.

I clenched my fists as I kept a neutral expression on my face.

I looked away from Luan and looked at Luis Grey instead.

My jaw clenched remembering all the horrible things he did and what it caused me and my loved ones.

My chest heaved up and down in anger and my hands lit up on fire as I made my way towards Luis Grey.

I was seeing red.

I wanted his b***d on my hands.

I wanted to kill him right then and there.

I want him dead.
