Liviana’s POV

I woke up earlier than I usually do and immediately got up to peek through the balcony.

I instantly smiled when I saw Luan’s car parked outside.

I mentally slapped myself for that.

I took a quick shower and got dressed before heading down.

It was a weekend and I was in charge of pack training today.

Then, I went to the kitchen and saw Luan there with Ellie on his lap.

I smiled again.

“Good morning, Alpha” Theresa greeted and I smiled at her as Luan and Elle turned to look at me.

“Good morning” I greeted back.

Luan smiled my way.

“Good morning, babe” Luan teased and I slightly blushed before lightly pinching him on the side making him chuckle.

“You’re early” I pointed out as I sat down and got served with pancakes and bacon.

Luan was served breakfast too.

“So are you. You missed me, didn’t you?” he teased again and I rolled my eyes chuckling.

“You wish” I said and he pouted like a child.

“Liviii” Ellie tried to get my attention as she held out her arms for me to get her.

So I did.

I sat Ellie on my lap as she hugged me.

“How was your sleep, little one?” I asked her softly.

“It was great, Livi! I dreamt about rainbows and unicorns” Ellie giggled.

I smiled and cut up some pancake for Ellie.

“Say ‘ah'” I said as I held the fork with the pancake on her mouth.

“But Luan already fed me” Ellie said and I looked at Luan.

“You did?” I asked. Luan nodded.

“I was waiting for you to have breakfast together when Ellie woke up. Theresa was busy helping out so I fed her instead” he explained and shrugged as he took a bite of his own pancake.

“Impressive” I said with a chuckle. He just gave me a smug smile.

I shook my head with a smile.

“Isn’t it too early to be flirting?”

We both turned to see El as he came into the kitchen.

“Way to ruin the moment” Luan said and El laughed as he sat down beside Luan.

“Sorry, your majesty. I couldn’t help it” El said with a shrug and Luan laughed.

“What are we going to do today?” El asked curiously as he took a bite of the pancake his mom served for him.

“Wolf training” I said as I took a sip of coffee.

“Nice. I’m going to enjoy this one” El said with a smile.

“Are we going against each other” El asked again. I shook my head.

“Most of you will fight against me” I said and El looked at me wide eyed.

“I’ll be in human form so chill” I tried to assure him.

“Chill? That doesn’t even make it better, Livi” El pouted and I chuckled.

El is a good fighter.

But he’s not the biggest fan of going against me.

El knows how I am during a fight.

Even during training.

That’s just how it is.

“Don’t you have anyone else to goin combat with them for training” Luan asked.

“There’s a ton. But I feel like I’d be the best fit for them. They’ll be stronger that way” I said.

Luan looked at me worried.

“I’ll be fine, Luan” I mind linked him.

“I know but you always make me worry, Liviana” he replied.

I reached out for his hand and lightly squeezed it.

“I’ll be fine” I told him and he smiled a little.

El looked at the both of us.

“Getting all lovey dovey, I see” he said and I just rolled my eyes at him.

After breakfast, we immediately went to the training grounds.

The pack members were already waiting there.

Alex and Dante saw me and approached me.

“Good morning, Alpha” Alex said.

“Good morning, princess” Dante said and planted a k**s on the top of my head.

Luan glared at him but didn’t say anything.

“Are the pack members ready?” I asked.

Alex nodded.

“Let’s start” I said and made my way to the front.

“Be careful” Luan reminded me and gave me a k**s on the forehead.

“Don’t worry, I will” I told him and gave him a small smile.

I saw how my pack members reacted to Luan’s actions but I ignored it.

“For today’s training, Alpha Liviana will lead us” Alex announced.

I stood in front as I put on my Alpha face.

“Let’s start” I announced.

“Yes, Alpha” everyone replied.

We started with the warm ups that were headed by Alex.

Then, everyone changed into their wolf form except me.

We did different combat skills and tactics.

Later on, I had everyone prepare to fight with me.

“Are you sure about this, Alpha” Alex asked. I nodded.

“Of course I am” I said.

I know that they were still worried about me.

I don’t really think anyone has ever seen how capable I actually am.

I haven’t even shown anyone my full potential just yet.

I went into the circle and 3 wolves came in to fight with me.

“3 wolves?” Luan mind linked me.

“Yes. A single wolf would be too easy” I replied to him.

“Be careful. Don’t get hurt” he reminded me.

“I’ll be careful. But I can’t promise not to get hurt. It is a fight after all” I replied and cut the link.

The 3 pack members started their attack and I dodged most of their attacks.

It wasn’t that hard.

I could literally fight with 5 of them and I’d still manage.

I’ve been training more now.

I knew I had to prepare for thoroughly for anything that can happen not only in the pack but what can happen to me since a lot has happened since I turned 18.

One wolf lunged at me with its canines open and I jumped and landed on its back.

I locked my legs on its neck and twisted to the side to flip us both but not kill it.

I jumped to mg feet and then another wolf came at me with its claws.

I slid below it and threw a punch making the wolf fall down with a whimper.

Then the last wolf finally attacked me from the back.

I didn’t bother to turn and look.

I jumped and flipped as I landed on its back and I caged its neck in my arms.

It fell to the ground whimpering as it gasped for air.

I let go and stood up.

They definitely need more training time.

But seeing their speed, they’ll be just fine.

Just not with me.

“You’re not trying to kill your pack members, right?” Dante said beside me.

“Of course not” I said and he chuckled.

After that, I fought with 5 wolves at a time.

The adrenaline was really on point today.

Soon enough, training ended.

I said my last few words and suggestions for all of them.

No one had a grudge with me after that.

Well, its not like I did much damage on them anyway.

I felt a little exhausted but at least I knew that everyone would be able to improve with this experience.

“You’re amazing” Luan appeared as he held my waist.

I smiled.

“I told you I’ll be fine” I said and he chuckled.

“Uhuh” he said and kissed my temple.

“You should probably rest now” he said and I agreed and nodded.

“I’m going back to our place to check on something. I’ll be back tomorrow morning” he told me and I nodded.

“Okay. Be careful on your way” I said and he nodded and smile.

“I will” he said and gave me a k**s on my cheek.

“I’m this close to punching you”

We turned to look at Dante and chuckled.

“Get your hands off my niece” Dante said and pulled me away from Luan with a frown.

Luan only smirked at him.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Liviana” he said and I nodded before waving him goodbye.

After a while, Dante looked at me with a frown on his face.

“That mate of yours is getting too comfortable” he said making me chuckle.

“Are you guys together?” he asked with his brows furrowed.

I thought about it.

Are we together?

I mean, we haven’t really talked about it.

“I’m not sure” I told him as we walked back to the pack house.

“You’re not sure?” he asked in disbelief.

“We haven’t talked about it” I said. Dante huffed.

“You’re unbelievable. I’m telling on you to your dad when he’s back” he said and walked faster to the pack house.

I laughed.

I don’t know what we are right now.

But I’m happy.

And I like it.

I really like it.
