Liviana’s POV

It’s been a few days since I came back home and saved my fathers.

It’s also been a few days since I’ve been waking up really early in the morning to sneak out to go visit them.

It was the only way to avoid suspicion from everyone including Luan.

I woke up early as usual.

Luan’s hands were wrapped around my waist so I carefully removed them.

After succeeding in removing his arms around me, I slowly got out bed and tiptoed into my closet.

I changed into a pair of sweats and a hoodie so I can say I just went for a run if someone caught me.

Then, I made my way to the balcony and glanced back at my room to check if Luan was still sleeping.

Luckily, he’s still fast asleep.

I jumped from the balcony and landed on my feet.

I looked up and then around me to check my surroundings.

Clear.

I started to make my way to the direction of our safe place.

I chose to not shift because I might attract more attention then and I didn’t want that to happen.

After a while of walking, I reached the entry to our safe place and entered.

As soon as I got in, I saw my dad waiting for me beside the water.

“Dad!” I called out and he turned to look at me with an excited smile on her face.

“My Princess” he said as he made his way to me and hugged me.

“Good morning” I said and he smiled as he tucked in a lose strand of my hair to the back of my ear.

“Good morning, princess. How was your sleep?” he asked lovingly.

“It was fine. How was yours? Are you guys comfortable here?” I asked worried.

Dad nodded.

“Yes. We’re feeling fine here” he said and I sighed in relief.

Dad smiled and planted a long k**s on my forehead.

Then, there was a loud growl.

We both turned to look in shock and my eyes widened when I saw a familiar person by the entrance.

His eyes glowed bright green as his chest heaved up and down.

Luan.

Dad became alert as he pulled me behind him while his eyes glowed bright blue.

I saw Luan clench his fists in anger.

And even before I could make a move to stop them, they shifted into their wolves as they lunged at each other.

“No!” I shouted in panic as they started to fight each other.

Oh sht.

“Stop! Stop it!” I screamed but it seemed like they were in their own little bubble.

“Oh ghad! Stop! Please!” I kept shouting as I tried to make my way to them to stop.

Someone immediately pulled me to the side and I looked up to see Dante.

Then, Pa made his way to Dad and Luan.

“Stay here. We’ll handle this” he said and I gulped and nodded.

I watched as my uncle and Pa tried to stop Luan and Dad with their fight.

But it was harder than it looked because they were fighting fiercely.

Both Dad and Luan’s fur was black.

And both their fur shone like how any wolf of royal b***d would.

They were both large in size but Dad’s wolf was larger than Luan’s.

Dad’s wolf was as big as mine.

It wouldn’t be too noticeable but I paid into details very well.

Finally, my uncle was able to grab Luan and even before Dad can lunge at him to attack, Pa was able to grab Dad as well.

I immediately ran up to them and stood between them as they growled and snarled at each other.

“I said stop it!” I growled loudly as my eyes glowed bright gold.

Everyone stopped and froze in their spot.

I glared at the direction of both Luan and Dad.

“Shift back” I commanded.

Dad huffed as he glanced at Luan then shifted back.

Luan did the same after seeing Dad shift.

“Who is he?” Luan asked angrily then he glanced at Pa.

“Who are they?” he said and then looked at me.

I bit my lower l*p.

“Do you know this person, Liviana?” Dad asked.

I nodded.

“Before anything else, please get dressed and let’s talk it out calmly” I suggested.

Uncle Dante dragged both Pa and Dad away while I stayed with Luan.

“I’ll get you something to change into” I said to Luan as gave me a look of disbelief.

I got some clothes for Luan and gave it to him.

After they got dressed, we just stood there for a moment with me in the middle.

“Care to explain, Liviana?” Dad said.

Dad, Pa and Uncle Dante were all on my left side while Luan was on the right.

“Who are they, Liviana?” Luan asked in a dangerous tone.

“Don’t talk to her in that tone” Dad growled fiercely.

Pa’s eyebrows furrowed at Luan.

“You can’t tell what to do and what not to do” Luan growled back.

Dad and Pa growled as they advanced to Luan.

I immediately rushed to Dad stop him while Dante stopped Pa.

“Luan, can you not?” I hissed at him.

Luan’s brows furrowed at me.

I turned to look at Dad and Pa.

“Dad, Pa, stop it” I scolded.

“Wait what? Dad? Pa?” Luan said and I looked at him as he looked at me confused.

I sighed.

“Luan, they are my fathers. Alpha Dimitri Crest and…his highness, King Kale Alaric” I managed to say.

Luan’s eyes widened at the sudden realization.

I turned to look at Dad and Pa.

“And he’s my mate” I told them.

They’re brows furrowed at me.

“And who’s this mate of yours?” Dad asked.

I gulped as I glanced at Luan.

“His name is Luan” I said hoping he would ask more.

“Luan what?” Dad asked further.

I bit my lower l*p as I backed away from my dad and to Luan.

I stood in front of Luan protectively.

Dad looked at me with a raised brow.

“Liviana” he said.

“Who is he?” he asked again.

I took a deep breath as I reached for Luan behind me.

“He’s Luan…Luan Grey” I said and I saw the shock on both Dad and Pa’s face.

Then, it was quickly replaced with the look of hostility.

“Luan Grey?! Luis Grey’s son?! Are you kidding me, Liviana?!” Dad growled.

I gulped as I held on to Luan tightly.

Pa was only standing there as he watched us in shock and confusion.

“Dad, please” I said.

“Do you expect me to just accept this? Liviana, he’s the son of—” Dad was about to say but I cut him off.

“I know. But we were already marked and mated even before I found out about everything” I said.

Dad looked at me in disbelief.

“He’s different, Dad. He’s not like HIM” I said.

Dad glared at Luan.

“I don’t believe you” Dad said as his eyes glowed blue then approached us.

“Dad, stop!” I screamed as he shoved me away and held Luan by his neck.

Pa and Dante rushed to my side.

“Stop it!” I screamed as he lifted up Luan by the neck.

Luan struggled at his hold but didn’t even retaliate again my father.

“Stop! Please!” I shouted and suddenly, Dad flew mid air and was thrown into a bush while Luan fell to the ground as he tried to catch his breath.

I crawled to him as I held him in worry.

“Oh ghad. Oh ghad. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry” I said as I teared up.

Luan looked at me and forced a smile.

Suddenly, my Dad came out of the bushes in his wolf form as he lunged in our direction.

I moved instinctively as I covered Luan with my own body.

But I felt nothing as I hugged Luan in a protective embrace.

I hesitantly turned to look and saw my Dad frozen in place.

Then, I saw the moon goddess.

“Enough, Kale. You’re traumatizing your own daughter because you’re angry” the moon goddess said.

The moon goddess turned to look at me as I bit my lower l*p to stifle a sob and a tear fell from my eye.

The moon goddess eyes softened as she looked at me.

“Are you okay?” she asked worried.

I nodded.

Then, she sighed.

She turned to look at Pa and Dante.

“I’m taking them back. Don’t let him leave” the moon goddess said.

Pa nodded as he bowed his head.

“Yes, goddess” Pa replied.

My uncle only gave the moon goddess a small nod and then glanced at me with a worried expression.

“Come on” the moon goddess said as she helped both Luan and I up.

I took a last glance at my father as another tear fell from my eye.

I’m sorry, Dad.

I’m really sorry.

Then, he disappeared from my sight and we found ourselves in front of the pack house.

“I’ll talk to him. For now, just stay at the comfort of your people” the moon goddess said as she caressed my hair.

I nodded.

She gave me a small smike and kissed my forehead then disappeared.

Why am I in such a complicated situation?

Why do I have to be in this kind of situation?

Why?
