The car drove steadily to midnight fall pack. Storm and Jay were a bunch of nerves and Lilah just felt her Alpha and beta were acting strange.
They were almost close to the border. He inhaled the air but couldn't find Artemis' scent.
Is she not around?
"We're almost here." The driver piped up and Storm grunted. He felt nostalgic, he felt the pull of the people here and most importantly he could smell some familiar scents.
Jay looked at his friend's disappointed look and he could tell that Artemis wasn't around.
"Can you smell her..." He trailed of and Storm nodded, knowing exactly which 'her' he was talking about.
"She's at the training grounds." He replied.
Jay nodded and tapped the driver on his shoulder. "Stop the car please."
The car stopped and he got down, took off his clothes and shifted into his grey wolf. Yes Jay became a werewolf. He bolted into the direction of the training ground and Storm watched him go.
"Where is he going to?" Lilah questioned and Storm shrugged, not giving her an answer.
She pursed her lips and stared at her Alpha through the mirror. She bit her lips slightly. "Alpha Storm."
He hummed in response and she felt her heart rate spike up at the warm sound of it. "There's something that I would like to say."
Storm watched her for a minute.
"We're here."
He looked away, his eyes landing on the building in front of him. Home.
He got out of the car with Lilah behind him. He hadn't taken a step forward when he heard a gasp and two bodies collided with is legs.
"Uncle Storm!" Two childish voice greeted his ears and he looked down to see two children clinging onto him. He stared in awe at them. They look like the exact replica of his sister and Ollie.
He was an uncle.
He looked up quickly, trying to find them and his breath hitched in his throat. There his sister was, standing at the bottom of the stairs in shock. Her hand was over her mouth and her eyes were wide open in shock.
She looked like a shocked fish.
He looked down at the two girls and ruffled their hairs. "Hi little ones. Do you mind letting go of my legs so I can see your mommy."
They nodded there head quickly and let go before they each took his hand and pulled him in the direction of Sunny. Sunny stared at the man approaching them in shock.
She couldn't believe it. He looked just like her brother. Every detail except that he looked a bit mature and powerful.
"Mommy! Uncle Storm came back from his journey so now you can't cry anymore." Her first born Blue said with clear blue eyes shining brightly at the mother.
Yes the father name her Blue because of how bright her eyes were.
Sunny choked back a sob and stared at the person in front of her.
"Hello sister. Missed me?" Storm finally said and she cried jumping right into his arms.
"Oh my gosh Storm!" She cried, squeezing his neck tightly. The bump prevented her from hugging him well so she could only settle to choke him.
"To tight." Storm wheezed out, patting her arm and she shook her head, tears and snot dripping onto his clothes.
She couldn't believe it. Her brother was alive. She could feel the sibling connection between them. This wasn't a look alike; no this was her brother.
"S-sunny...can't b-breath." He gasped and Sunny quickly let go of him. She tried wiping her tears but they kept falling every time. Her brother was alive.
"I-I..."She couldn't speak and opted to hug him again. Storm chuckled but then he heard a growl.
"Let go of my mate asshole!"
"Pipe down Ollie." He retorted and turned to face Ollie with a quirk of his brow. Ollie froze in his steps, nearly stumbling.
He stared at the person in front of him. "Storm....?"
Storm smiled and nodded. "The one and only."
Behind him, Lilah couldn't handle what was going on and just stared in confusion.
Ollie couldn't believe it either. That was his Alpha. He knew it because Knox lowered his head when he felt his presence but there was something different about this Storm and..
"Oh my freaking Gosh! You're a werewolf!!!!!" Ollie screamed in surprise and Storm chuckled nodding his head.
The reunion was lively. They were happy and Storm entered the office to see Riley sitting in the alpha chair staring at him with tears.
He got up, run over and hugged him tightly.
"Please don't leave us." Riley pleaded. He got the information from Ollie and he couldn't hide his joy. The real Storm was alive and he was here, with them.
Riley pulled away and Storm ruffled his hair like he used to. "I missed you Riley. Being an Alpha suits you."
Riley blushed and then smiled. "Thank you."
Suddenly the door banged open and a body hit him. He wrapped his arms around the woman and smiled.
"Nice to see you Selena. Hope you liked my surprise." Storm said and Selena pulled back with tears.
"Thank you and please just please...I-" She broke down and Storm stroked her head soothingly. He understood her.
"Who is this?" Ollie questioned, looking at the person who entered after Selena. Jay sat on the couch and glared at Ollie.
"You remember Storm but then you don't remember the guy you scared shitless when you transformed into a wolf in front of him." Jay said and Ollie froze for a second.
"Jay...." He hesitated and he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah."
This was a lot to take in.
"So how are you here?" Riley asked.
Storm sighed and sat down. "Its a long story."
Two hours later
"So that's what happened." Storm ended and they all stared at him in shock. They realized he had went through a lot and the tears on Sunny's face started dripping. She got up from her seat and hugged him.
Storm didn't ask about his other family because he knew they were long gone. He missed his little brother Snow.
"I'm so glad you're here with us. It wasn't easy in your absence." She murmured and Storm patted her back comfortingly just like he always did when his sister needed reassurance.
"So will you be staying here?" Riley finally asked the question that probably had been on everyone's mind.
Storm pursed his lips and stared at the table thoughtfully before he shrugged. "I have somethings to settle..." He opened his mouth to speak when he suddenly stopped. He sniffed the air, a bust of tingles spread through his body and his eyes turned a shade darker.
Ollie, Selena and Riley froze. They all turned to each other with one thought.
Artemis was back.
Storm rushed out of the room and nearly bumped into Lilah who stayed back under her Alpha's request.
"Alpha wait!" She rushed out after him. She got there quickly in time to see him transform into huge dark brown wolf with black stripes on the side.
Storm ignored her and followed the scent. His wolf was meeting the mate for the first time since he mentioned her to him. He had been so excited and now the time was finally coming.
Storm breezed through the forest, jumping over falling branches and roots and dodging the trees that stood in his way till he finally made it to the place Artemis and him loved the most; the field of flowers.
He stopped, quickly shifted and put his clothes back on. He stared at the figure sitting in the grass, with her slender fingers lightly brushing against the petals of the flowers. Her dark hair blew in the direction of the wind and the sun highlighted her skin tone.
She was as beautiful as he remembered and maybe even more so.
She was wearing the white dress she wore the first time they meet and her feet were bare. She twirled around, with a smile on her face and eyes closed.
She looked peaceful.
Storm just watched her. He had learnt to mask his presence and hoped that Artemis wouldn't sense him but who was he kidding, she was a goddess and a powerful wolf as such.
She froze, her frame shaking slightly and then she finally opened her eyes.
A/N: Still not the end ;)
