Things are going well in Veer and Preet's life. They are still trying to manage their new lifestyle. Things are not hard but they are also not easy for them.
Their day started with cleaning the house and then after taking a bath, they would have their breakfast. Or sometimes they would skip it due to a shortage of options and things. But Preet makes sure to make a little heavy lunch due to Veer as he needs a heavy diet at least once in a day.
The best thing that happened to them this week is that Veer got a job. Although it is not unexpected to Preet. She knows he would easily get any job with the level of qualification and experience he has. He won businessman of the year for two consecutive years, for a reason. But still she was really happy when he gave her this news.
Although, salary package is not very huge, it is enough for them to live a decent life. And that's what they want.
"Is it important to go?" Veer asks for the nth since morning.
Preet looks at him through the mirror while rolling her eyes at him.
"Yeaâ¦now if you ask me one more then I will make Bindi for dinner," she threatened, making him look at her in disbelief.
"God, ..I shouldn't have told you about my weak point," he exclaimed, narrowing his eyes at her.
She chuckled and turned toward him after she felt satisfied with her look. She is wearing a simple cotton saree, which she found in one of the cupboards two days ago. She knows it belongs to her mother in law.
"Let's go or we will be late for your appointment," he sighs loudly and holding her hand, they leave for the hospital.
When they were leaving the house, Preet noticed a few women from neighbour, were looking at them with curious eyes. She looked down feeling weird under their eyes.
They took the auto for the hospital. Preet giggled seeing Veer sitting so stiff, holding the rod tightly in fear. He never experienced this in his whole life.
As soon as they reach their destiny, Veer quickly comes out of the auto, holding his head. He felt dizzy due to the adventure ride of the auto.
"Godâ¦what was that?" Veer murmured in shock after Preet paid the fare.
This makes her laugh. She held his forearm and started walking inside the hospital.
"Did you enjoy the ride, hubby?" He glared at her playfully as she bite her lower lip to stop herself from laughing.
"I told you I was fine," He said as they were walking out of the hospital.
"But I can't take a chance," she told him but suddenly her eyes went behind him and widened.
Veer frowns and looks at his back to see Aarav and Avni looking at them in surprise.
Veer froze in his place looking at Aarav whose eyes filled with unshed tears. Preet holds his hand and lightly squeezes it.
Aarav walks toward them with Avni and stands in front of them.
"Bhaiâ¦" Veer sigh sadly seeing his little brother in tears.
Aarav then looked at Preet who gave him a weak smile.
"Don't you love me, Bhai," he asked him, making Veer's eyes soften. But he stayed silent.
"Why do you leave us? You know how much I am missing you and Bhabhi. Please come back," he said in his broken voice. Avni sniffed silently looking at her husband so vulnerable for the first time.
Veer shook his head at him and looked away.
"I can't, Aarav. I left everything. That house is no longer mine. Now everything is yours," Aarav immediately shook his head.
"I don't want anything except you both. Please come with us Bhai. Bhabhi you ask him,"
Preet comes near him and smiles sadly.
"Aarav, we are no longer part of the Rajvansh family. We have no right on that house, please understand. You have a big responsibility on your shoulders, Ari. You have a huge business to look after and also have a baby on the way. Don't worry about us. We are fine. Just take care of yourself and Avni," she softly said, wiping his tears.
Avni sob hearing this,
"I need you, Bhabhi. My baby needs his Badi Ma. Since you left, the baby has been troubling me so much. How will I manage the baby? And who will fulfill my craving?" This makes Preet tears up but she wipes them and smiles at her.
"I am always there for you, Avni and for my baby. Don't worry I scold this naughty baby for troubling mama. You can tell me anytime about your craving, I am always really to feed my both babies," Preer lovingly said, kissing her forehead.
"Don't trouble your Mama baby or I will scold you. Be a good baby, jaan," Veer smiled, looking at the preet cutely talking with the baby as she gently stroked Avni's small baby bump.
Avni chuckled with tears, making everyone smile at her.
"Aarav takes care of the business for me. You know how much hard work I did to make it what it is today. Don't let my dedication, sweat and sleepless night go in vain. It's my request to you. We are happy. Don't waste your time on us," Veer told him, making Aarav sad and hurt.
Preet nodded and smiled at Aarav.
"Veer is right, Aarav. You have family to look after. Take care of everyone," she said softly with her sweet smile.
Aarav looked at the blank face of Veer and reluctantly nodded his head.
"We should leave now. Take care of everyone, especially Avni, okay," Aarav just looks at him with the puppy as if he is losing something precious.
"Come Preet," Preet nodded and looked at Avni and Aarav one last time and she walked to Veer.
As they were about to go, Veer stopped and looked at Aarav.
"I need my and Preet's few important documents from Rajvansh house, would-"
Aarav nodded before he could complete his sentence.
"I will send them, Bhai," Veer nodded and walked away from there.
Avni hugs Aarav as he stares at their backs with tears. He smiles sadly and closes his eyes to try to content his pain inside his chest.
"Aaravâ¦" Avni called his name, not able to see him so hurt.
"I am fine, meri Jaan," he assured her, giving her a fake smile and hugging her back.
Veer sat on the bench as they reached the park a little far away from the hospital. He holds his head and leans forward feeling bad for hurting his little brother.
"He will understand," Preet assured him gently, rubbing his shoulder.
Veer looked at her with sadness on his face and hugged her tightly to get comfort in her warm embrace.
"He was hurt, Preet," he whispered against her neck. She started caressing his hair and kissed the side of his head a few times.
"I know," she said.
After staying in the same position for a minute, Veer pulled away. She smiles lightly and cups his right cheek.
"Everything will be alright, Veer," He stares at her beautiful face and lightly pecks her lips.
Her cheeks turned slightly red in shyness as he kissed her outside.
"We should leave now. We have to buy clothes for you," Preet said, standing up from the bench.
Veer nodded as now he is feeling better. His wife makes everything better.
"Let's go then," he said, giving her his hand. She grinned and placed her palm on his and entwined their fingers before walking out of the park.

"Ma, I know you are mad at me but for how long will you be like this?" Urmila asked, sitting near Damini's feet in her room.
Damini just kept looking outside the window with blank eyes.
"Please come downstairs and have your dinner, " she said softly and was about to hold her hands but Damini moved her hands back.
"Is it wrong if I want my son's happiness and better future. It's not like I did some crime. I just take what belongs to my children," Damini looks at her in disbelief.
"You take what belongs to you but snatch Veer and Preet's share. It is not a crime but it is not less than any crime, Urmila. You turn so blind to even see what you actually are so wrong. Veer and Preet have the same right on this house and Rajvansh property as much as Aarav, Avni and Anaya have. And no one can ignore this fact," This makes Urmila angry.
She shook her head and stood up.
"They don't have any right, Ma. They don't!!" she said with tears in her eyes.
"He is not Rajvansh. He doesn't have Rajvansh's blood in his veins. And this is the truth and you all are denying this even after knowing this truth,"
A loud sound of slap is heard in the room. Urmila looked down with tears flowing down her eyes and one hand covering her red cheek.
Damini glared at her and said in a loud clear voice.
"He is my Ranveer's son. He has my Naina's blood running in his veins. This is what I know. Today you have said that but if I heard it again then no one is worse than me," Damini's hard echoing in the room makes Urmila scared.
"Ma.." Damini show her, her palm and look at her with fire in her eyes,
"Just go away from my sight. I don't want to say something that might hurt you. So just get out," Urmila looks at her, who turns her face away from her.
Seeing her so angry and hurt, she silently went out with tears flowing from her eyes.
Sumitra who heard them from outside was looking at Urmila walking toward her room while sobbing. Her hatred for Veer increases more. She fists her hands tightly and looks at the closed door of Damini with glare and tears formed on her furious looking eyes.
Urmila is looking at the picture in her hands with anger and tears. In the picture, she and a beautiful young woman are looking at each other while chuckling at something.
"Why did you come into my life, Didi? I don't know if I should love you and hateâ¦" she sob badly.
"Urmi, take care of my Veer,"
she heard a sweet yet painful voice in her ears, making her cry more.
