"You should have seen it. He came out of no fucking where Fallon. I swear" Ember groaned
"I told you. Send me the ADDY LEMME BEAT HIS ASS INTO THE GROUND"
"And what good will that do?" The brunette asked
"I'LL POUND HIM SO DEEP THAT SATAN FINDS HIM THEN SATAN WILL FINISH HIM OFF AND SEND HIM TO GOD, THEN GOD WILL FINISH HIM OFF AND SEND HIM TO AQUAMAN-"
"Aquaman? Seriously?" the girl chuckled
"YES. THAT UTTER PIECE OF SHIT"
"I think you're forgetting someone else that's apart of that little situation there Fallon" Ember mumbled
"Who Gabrielle?"
"Yes"
"I have nothing to say about her because I know where her heart lies" The boy stated
"What do you mean?" Ember asked
Fallon's fingers hooked around the girl's button as he did her final hoop at the top. Ember had finally decided to go to the dinner her parents were organising after a few pushes from her bestfriend
Unfortunately he couldn't come along with her to crash it but he was sure that she'd make some mischief by herself perfectly
The two adults were laid out in the backseat of the Atkins personal car that was sent for the brunette, Fallon just came along for the ride. It was free afterall
"That girl is crazy about you-"
"That girl is straight" Ember stated
"Okay? And? We don't know that but either way she must be going through a hard time being confused on what she wants" Fallon said
"Oh? And that's my fault? I have nothing to do with that and if she's having such a hard time, she sure as hell has an interesting way of showing it" Ember spat, Fallon bit his bottom lip gently as he turned to face the girl
His eyes rolled over her face to see her brows stitched together tightly as she fidgeted with the button on her sleeves but failing miserably
It was obvious to him that the girl was having a hard time, he'd never seen her fall so hard for someone so fast, even if she didn't realize it
He was her bestfriend afterall and bestfriends always know your feelings even if you haven't realized your own as yet
She was hurting inside but she kept pushing it deep down
The more she buries, the more is going to explode and when it does, boy it's going to be messy
"Fucking piece of shit" The girl hissed at the button
"Here. Let me do it" he mumbled, bringing her hands over to her sleeves
"Thanks" she muttered, turning her head towards the window
"You don't need to tell me anything. I know what you're going to say even if you don't say it. But you can't keep that pain bottled up forever Ember" He mumbled
"What pain!?" the girl spat
"Oh come on. When are you going to admit to yourself that you give a fuck about what's going on with her and that guy?"
"Why should I care about their sham of a relationship?"
"Because you really like her Ember"
"No I don-"
"Yes. Yes you do" Another voice interrupted
The two adults snapped their necks to the front seat to see Ember's bodyguard
"S-Sorry ma'am but I couldn't stay quiet"
"See, even the Mike knows you like her" Fallon chuckled
"Mike doesn't count"
"Don't disrespect Mike like that" the boy glared, earning a small giggle from the girl
It was the first thing that seemed to relax her all day
"Sorry Mike"
"No worries ma'am" The man replied
"So?" Fallon questioned
"so what?"
"Are you going to admit it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about" Ember giggled once again
"Awwwwwwww see, I knew it was more than a crush" Fallon squealed
"No! Shut up" Ember chuckled
"God, I can picture it. Wedding bells on mount Everest" The boy said
"Mount Everest?"
"I... I don't know, it was just a fantasy I had" Fallon chuckled
"Well, you're forgetting one thing" Ember said
"Oh? And what's that?"
"The girl I'll be marrying has a boyfriend"
"Boyfriend!?" Both Fallon and Mike hissed, making the girl giggle
"Yes, boyfriend"
"Nuh uh hunny, that man ain't nothing more than a cunt" Fallon stated
"A cunt is too much privilege" Mike said
"oOoO he's the dirt under pigs feet-"
"Okay okay, we're going off topic here" Ember chuckled
"Sorry but it's just facts. Gabrielle doesn't want him but her mind keeps confusing her since they've grown up together. She's torn between what she wants and if she should be with him because of how much time they poured into everything"
Ember furrowed her brows at the boy's words, it was something she could relate to
People often run back to each other because they poured alot of time or effort into the relationship. They would rather live in the toxicness than let it go to waste
"Someone just needs to open her eyes to the situation, but I can assure you that she really likes you too" Fallon said
"You don't know that-"
"GODDAMIT EMBER, DON'T MAKE ME DRILL IT INTO YOUR HEAD"
"You can drill something else" The girl smirked
"Ooo that... That's smooth"
"Lemme peg you bitch" Ember smirked
"Oh my God, yes daddy" Fallon moaned
"Such a fucking idiot" She giggled

"And forever babyboy. LET THEM BITCHES KNOW I AIN'T GOING NOWHERE"
"Amen sister, say it louuudddd" Fallon squealed
"And the church says what?"
"PERIODT SIS" Fallon and Ember chuckled
"I missed you two" Mike laughed from the front seat
"Missed you too Mikstar" Ember smiled
"Seems as though we're here" Fallon mumbled, glancing out the window to see the familiar high rise gate
A small buzz came from the speaker as the iron gates slowly opened, allowing the car to pull onto the long driveway toward the mansion
The house born of an architect's plan lived and breathed upon the rock, foundations perfectly sound, with a small fountain in the center and perfect healthy grass on its laws, all set to stand for generations to come
It had large arched windows. Through them light flows through all seasons, gracing the air without favour, illuminating the sweet-toffee browns of the wooden floor. The adults could see a few people in the living area in suits with a wine glass between their fingertips, sipping and chatting along others
It must be a few of the hospital staff that her parents invited over for dinner. The driveway was lined with cars
"Well, I guess this is me" Ember mumbled
"Good luck and do what I told you to do" Fallon said as the girl slipped out from the car
"Light a match and drop it on the ground?" She asked
"No-"
"Steal all the good scotch?"
"No-"
"Draw beards all over pictures of my mother?"
"No! The other one!" The boy said
"Oh. bE nIcE. Surree" Ember playfully rolled her eyes
"Yes ma'am, I'll see you at home. Bring back lobster for me so I can eat like a king!"
"Anything for you my husband" Ember blew the boy a kiss as the car started to drive off
Only to see Fallon poke half of his body out the window just to wave goodbye to the girl
"ADIOS" He squealed
"BYE FALLON" Ember chuckled
"Later alligat- AYO WHY Y'ALL DRIVING SO FUCKING FAST. CAN'T YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO SAY GOODBYE HERE!?" Fallon's voice yelled loud down the driveway, making Ember laugh
"GIRL THEY FINNA MAKE ME ACT UP" he screamed
"GOODBYE FALLON" she yelled around the boy
Only to see his feet sticking out the other side window to wave him goodbye
"Oh my god" she laughed, clutching her stomach
She surely found a bestfriend that would stop at nothing to cheer her up. It was the only time she smiled that day
Especially to the fact that she had no idea what truly was on the other side of the doors
"Ember?" a familiar voice came from behind
"Gabrielle?"
