"You're an idiot"

"I know, shut up" Ember rolled her eyes, bringing her phone to her ear

"You were too forward!"

"That's how I am!" Ember hissed

"You looked like a creep"

"I know"

"God just imagine if a guy had walked up to you and pushed himself onto you like tha-"

"I know"

"She could sue yo-"

"I KNOW. Jesus, I know. I just wish someone threw a rock at my head so I could catch my damn sense yesterday" Ember groaned

The streets were calm as usual, it was an everyday thing especially for such an early morning

The girl adjusted her white button up blouse that complimented her dark grey trousers, her computer bag was slung across her back as she held her car keys with one hand and her phone to her ear with the next

The payments were reasonably wide enough for atleast four people to walk, there wasn't much traffic during the morning, especially on foot and Ember was glad for that

She wasn't a morning person, especially since she hadn't even gotten the chance to spring hot coffee down her throat as yet

"You're a dumbass"

"How many time are you going to tell me that?"

"As many times as it takes so it sinks into your tiny little gay brain and you learn what is right from wrong!" Fallon said

"Okay mother"

"That's QUEEN mother to you" the boy said dramatically

"Shouldn't you be in class right now?" the girl questioned

"I am-"

"What!"

"Listen, If I bend over and 'accidentally' drop a pencil right now, they have no choice but to pass me. Who's gonna fail someone with a dump truck ass like this?" Fallon snickered

But the silence on the other end of the phone wasn't one he expected. Hell, it wasn't one that Ember expected either

"Ember?" The boy asked

But there was silence again, not enough for him to panic since there was still sound coming from the phone indicating that the call hadn't been cut

"Helllooo?" he asked again

But Ember's attention had been far away from the boy on the phone, it was actually on the person her eyes had barley glanced at through a large window of a small cafe

Ember's eyes grew wide as her body seemed to paralyze itself, almost as if all blood flow through her veins ceased and stopped working in just a few seconds the moment her eyes landed on the person

Perhaps it was her beauty that caught Ember off guard or the fact that she didn't expect to see her but you readers and I both know it's both....  Maybe leaning a little bit more on the first one but it is what it is

"She's here" Ember mumbled

Her body seemed like shed the mental ice that froze her in place as her hands gripped the door of the cafe that was positioned between a few buildings down the alleyway

The second she stepped foot into the building, her nostrils were met with the steaming hot and fresh smell of vanilla coffee beans being grinded into power, the excess dust particles filling the air and giving a heavenly chocolate taste with a strong hint of vanilla and dark chocolate for that bitter flavour

"What? Your mother? SHIT-"

"No. That girl from yesterday, she's here" Ember mumbled again

"Gabrielle?"

"Y-yes" she stuttered

She hadn't expected to see the girl, but Zeus knows she wasn't complaining. Ember placed her computer bag onto a nearby table that was situated next to the wide glass window, giving a view of the entire scenery outside those walls

But her eyes couldn't peel away from the girl that was on stage. Her fingers were clasped around the top of the guitar, pressing lightly on the chords to give a different flow as the rest of her fingers strummed the cords below

The girl sat on a stool on the low stage in front of the coffee shop, the mic being just the correct height to her mouth as she smiled brightly

That smile alone was enough to melt Ember as she smiled back, matching the girl's warm morning glow

Her hair was straight blonde with the reflection of the bright honey glow of the sun reflecting over her body, touching her golden eyes. A figure of a perfect hour glass but it wasn't the thing that really caught Ember's attention. It was the girl's natural beauty, the kind that could stop a person in their tracks just to stare

A small crowd surrounded the girl at the front of the stage but giving her enough space to feel comfortable. A few held their paper cups to their lips, sipping of the hot brown liquid as they swayed their bodies to the gently sound radiating from the speakers

The singer hadn't noticed Ember's appearance, or so the brunette had thought. So she sat in her chair, her chin in the palm of her hand as she leaned on her elbows, admiring the singer for the second time in twenty four hours

Never had she ever been so captivated by someone, especially so quickly. It was as if there was an invisible magnet, pulling her in towards the girl, even if it's just to know her last name

"What? Where!?"

"Cafe, she's... Singing on stage actually" The girl said, raising a brow

"What the- where are you?"

"Wanted to stop for coffee, guess I don't need the adrenaline anymore" Ember chuckled

"Are you stalking her!?"

"Now why would you think that" Ember shook her head smiling

"Kinda weird for you to just suddenly run into the girl you were just rejected by"

"I wasn't rejected!"

"When are you ever going to admit that your charms don't work on everyone" Fallon chuckled

"Oh it'll work" Ember smirked

"Just make sure you don't go to damn far"

"Ew, the hell do I look like? Ofcourse I'll make sure she's comfortable. The fuck"

"Atta girl, now let me return back to the class before my dump truck gets thrown the fuck out" Fallon chuckled

"Bye Falls" Ember giggled

"Bye Em"

The girl removed her phone from her ear, placing it right back down onto the flat table surface as her eyes returned back into the direction of the stage

A small pout made its way onto her lips when she noticed that the song had ended and the singer stood to her feet, taking a small bow with a grin on her face

The small crowd in front had clapped their hands together, even a few whistle sounds echoed through the room to show their appreciation towards the singer who had made their morning a bit better with her voice

"Thank you so much" The blonde grinned, unhooking her mic from its stand and bringing it closer towards her mouth

But the girl stopped her words when she glanced around the room and her eyes had landed on a pair of earthy green orbs who pierced into hers strongly

Her bottom lip parted slightly but no words left her mouth, yet her smile was increasing by the second, reaching ear to ear as her cheeks slowly became blushed with pink

Ember chuckled softly as she leaned back into her chair, crossing her arms over her chest as she raised a brow, running her eyes along the girl's body

The singer's cheeks became even more flushed, following with a stinging bright red stain on her cheeks as she playfully rolled her eyes at the familiar girl sitting on the cafe

But Ember hadn't prepared for something

And she didn't expect the blonde to do what she did next
