Chapter 1202
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Corinne sipped her lemon water. âShould you take responsibility for yourself if your curiosity keeps you
up at night? Donât you think itâs weird for you to insist I take responsibility for that when I just met you
today?â
Sophia shrugged her shoulders and opened her palms. âOkay, okay. I wonât ask more if youâre that
reluctant to talk about the past. Eat up, then!â
Corinneâs cell phone then vibrated. She glanced at the screen and saw that Jason had sent another
message. [Iâm here.]
She placed the glass of lemon water down and grabbed her things. âIâm full. My friend is here, so Iâll
excuse myself and leave you two to enjoy the rest of the meal. Goodbye.â
Jeremy remained expressionless. He pushed the phone in front of her and said, âCould you leave your
contact information with me?â
Corinne looked at the QR code on his cell phone screen and said, âDonât you have my email? You may
contact me through email if you have anything to ask. I prefer that to other modes of communication.â
Corinne then turned around to leave.
Sophia looked at Moonâs retreating figure and said, âDo you think Moon might beâ¦â
Jeremy silently got up and followed her out.
Corinne walked out of the restaurant. She got into a white Bugatti, and the car drove away slowly.
Jeremy saw it all as he watched everything through the glass door of the restaurant.
Inside the car, Corinne grabbed the seat belt with her hands and let out a long sigh.
Jason was driving at moderate speed, but the way Corinne grabbed the seat belt made him a little
worried. âWhatâs wrong? Are you nauseous?â
Corinne shook her head. âIâm fine.âBooks Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated For All

Jason reached out and patted her shoulder to comfort her. âDonât be afraid. Iâm here!â
Corinne glanced listlessly at Jason. âDidnât you say you were going to send someone to pick me up?
Why did you come here yourself?â
Jason smiled wryly and said, âYou had me worried when you said that you were having a meal with
Jeremy. I had to pick you up myself, or I wonât be able to sit still!â
âDonât worry,â Corinne said, âI put on a very good performance, and he didnât suspect anything.â
Her fake face was done so well that no one would be able to spot any flaws, even at a close distance.
Jason was not worried that Jeremy might notice something was offâhe was mainly worried that
Corinne would rekindle her old love for Jeremy.
âHow does it feel to have a meal with your old flame after half a year without seeing him?â Jason asked
tentatively.
âI donât feel anything,â Corinne replied as she leaned lazily on the seat.
Jason raised an eyebrow. âAre you sure? You donât look like you donât feel anything.â
âIf feelings are what youâre asking,â Corinne said, âthen I guess all I feel right now is disgust.â
Jason smiled. âThatâs good to hear. I was worried you wouldnât want me anymore after meeting him!â
Corinne rolled her eyes at him. âWhen have I wanted you anyway? Donât just make assumptions!â
Jason shrugged. âYouâre right, youâre right. I shouldnât assume things. Well, itâs not often that we get to
go out. Is there anywhere in particular youâd like to go? How about I drive you around?â
Corinne waved her hand. âNo thanks. Iâm not in the mood to go anywhere. Just bring me home. Iâm
tired, and I want to go back to sleep.â
