Chapter 1495
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Chapter 1495
âSince Bryan and Christine have forgiven each other, we should go get some food and eat up here
together!â Corinne said.
Joey was the most mature out of the three. He nodded and opened his arms to enter his motherâs
embrace. âOkay!â
After Corinne carried Joey out, the two little kids who just shook hands and made peace turned against
each other again.
Christine crossed her arms and said haughtily, âHmph! Iâm not going to make up with you! You can trick
other people, but you canât trick me! Youâre not my brother! Impostor!â
Benjamin frowned and retorted unhappily, too. âWhatever! I donât care! I just didnât want Mommy to get
angry! I never wanted to make up with you in the first place!â
Christine shot him a look of disdain. âYouâre not my brother! How dare you call my mother âMommyâ?
Shame on you! Donât you have a Mommy of your own?â
Benjamin did not have a reply. He was fond of Christineâs mother, but he knew that the lady was not his
real mother. His mother was Sophia, whom he could never bring himself to like.
When Christine saw that Bryanâ had stopped talking, she hopped off the sofa and approached him. She
stared at him sternly and asked, âWhere did you hide my brother? Youâre taking my brotherâs place
here. What are you trying to do?â
Benjamin felt guilty under her scrutiny. âI⦠I am your brother!â
Christine shot back, âYouâre lying again! You suck at lying! You always blink when you tell a lie!â
Benjamin blinked even quicker because he was already feeling guilty.â You⦠You canât prove that Iâm
not Bryan!â
Christine replied, âJust because I canât prove it now doesnât mean I wonât be able to prove it in the
future! Just wait, Iâll find evidence to expose you. If Mommy knew you were a liar, youâd never hear the
end of it!â
Benjamin felt despondent. All he could think of was the disappointed expression that Christineâs mother
would have after learning the truth.
He took a deep breath and confessed, âYou donât need to look for evidence. I admit that Iâm not Bryan. I
never wanted to take his place because Iâm going to go back to my Daddy anyway. I like your Mommy,
and
I want to be around her. Just let me stay for a few more days, and Iâll leave on my own.â
âYou have a Daddy?â Christine asked, frowning.
Benjamin nodded. âYes.â
Christine tilted her head to one side and pressed further, âWhatâs he like?â
The image of his father appeared in his mind, and he proudly declared,â Heâs handsome. Iâd even say
heâs the most handsome man in the world!â
Christine pursed her lips and shook her head. âI donât believe you! My uncle is the most handsome man
in the world!â
Benjamin responded confidently, âWhy should I lie to you? My Daddy is super handsome! Your uncle
might be handsome, but heâs not as handsome as my Daddy!â
Christine contemplated for a moment and retorted, âI still donât believe you, not unless you bring me to
see what your Daddy looks like. Seeing is believing!â
