Chapter 30
We arrived almost one hour later, finally, and Joey forcefully pulled me out of the car, grinning evilly at me. I rolled my eyes. If he thought a little forceful pulling would make me cringe, he thought wrong. Very wrong.
Lucas came out from the car once he had turned off the engine and grabbed my other arm, both of them dragging me in through a big open gate and down a long path that led to two big double doors to a huge mansion in front of me.
I ignored some of the looks the guards gave me, some glaring and some lustful. What was it with these men older men today? All pervy and stuff.
"By the way, did I tell you that Fat Joe here was being all pervy earlier? Yeah, I'm not sure if your Alpha will like that either. It seems like Fat Joe can't be trusted to do his work properly."
Lucas shot Joey a hard glare, shaking his head, but didn't say anything. Probably not wanting to yell at him in front of me, that showed weakness and their Alpha would probably kill them if he saw something like that.
In through the doors and in to a huge cellar, they threw me in and grinned evilly at me now, both of them. We weren't alone anymore, though; there were more guards here, just like Lucas and Fatty over there, all of them watching me.
The cellar was dark and cold and had a big cage placed in the middle. It looked like one of those cages for animals on the Zoo and I didn't doubt the fact that it was for me.
"Is the Alpha seriously this slow? This is so unprofessional," I said, crossing my arms over my chest as I dramatically sighed. They all just kept staring at me, silent. I shrugged, looking around. "Whatever."
Suddenly, a door opened. Not the same one that I came through but another one, to my left. How come I hadn't seen that door earlier? I mentally shrugged as I watched a tall, buff looking guy come out with two guards behind him. He had a serious look on his face as his eyes first scanned his guards and then landed on me.
His hair was dark and his eyes were light brown, radiating with power. So this was the Alpha. I looked him up and down with one raised eyebrow, not caring if he didn't like it. I was here; I might as well have some fun while I'm at it.
"So this is the famous Samantha Riley?" he said, his voice big and dark. "I've heard very much about you."
"Can't say the same about you."
The man let out a chuckle, nodding to himself as if he had been expecting this.
"Did you have fun with my guards on the way?" he asked knowingly, a small smile on his lips.
"Oh we had a blast," I replied, my sweet and sarcastic. "Didn't we?"
"Do you have any idea why you are here?" he asked, his eyes quickly glancing over at Lucas and Fat Joe. Aha... so they are his stupid guards. He was obviously testing me to see if they had revealed something, which they weren't supposed to.
"To be honest, no, I don't," I said. "Though I have some complaining to do. Are all your guards so sexist and pervy? Because Fat Joe couldn't stop checking me out and I am telling you, I did not feel comfortable! And he insisted that he walked behind me all the time, which obviously only means one thing! He was looking at my ass!"
I said all of this in a dramatic voice, waving my hands around as I made my point. The other guards around let out deep chuckles when they heard "Fat Joe" come out of my mouth and I mentally smirked. They were so bad at doing their jobs. This pack was so easy and awful, gosh.
The Alpha turned serious right away and threw a threathing glare to Fat Joe's direction. Then he looked at me, still serious and clearly tired of playing around.
He took a step towards me.
"It's time for you to step into that cage, Ms. Riley. Guards," he called and immediately two guards jumped over to me, grabbing my arms. They dragged me over to the cell and I fought against myself and my temper. I was about to trash around and yell at them to let me go because I was so freaking angry, but instead, I let them push me inside the cage, a bored look on my face.
I was angry and I was bored. I was certainly not scared. These people couldn't harm a fly, did you see how immature and unprofessional they were? Worst kidnapping ever. His guards were laughing at my comments and he, the Alpha, came in and started chit chatting with me. He should've gone straight to work and put me in the cage first thing.
I sighed; this was going to be a long day.
I had been sitting in this disgusting uncomfortable cage for two hours with no action whatsoever. There were six guards on each side of the cage, standing against the wall, staring straight forward. Lucas and Fat Joe looked serious, too serious too handle, especially with those cheeks Fat Joe had, so I decided to have some fun again. What could I loose? My life? Eh.
"So Fat Joe... how's it going with the ladies? I'm guessing not so good."
He threw me a furious glare and I tried to to hold my chuckle.
"Seems like I guessed right. How about you, Luke? You're a handsome man, why isn't anyone falling at their knees for you?"
I let out a laugh then, as if remembering something and held up my finger for them to wait.
"Sorry, sorry... I'll take the "handsome" part back. And "man" if you don't mind. I'll tell you who is handsome and a man... My Noah. Yes, sir. He is one heck of a man, that one."
Now they looked annoyed and I knew I was on the right path. Nothing was more annyoing to enemies than hearing how good their enemy was. Especially now that they were waiting for Drake to come "to my rescue."
"That dark hair... those beautiful eyes...," I said, looking dreamily away. "Oh my GOD!" I screamed, all of them jumping at my sudden outburst. I tried so hard not to laugh. "And those abs! Gosh those abs! Fat J, maybe you should touch them once he comes. You'll see if you like them or not. You know... maybe you're into the other gender." I winked.
"I AM NOT!" he roared like a little child. I couldn't help the laughter that escaped me as Lucas elbowed him in the rib and how the other guards shot him hateful glares. Fat Joe looked down, then threw a glare at me and earner another elbow.
"Touchy, aren't we?" I said, grinning. "If my Noah was here, you would all drool over his ass. Mm, that ass. No gender can deny that he has one fine butt!"
Lucas gave me a look that said, "stop or you'll get in trouble." Psh, please. I was already in trouble, dear guard. I huffed, shooting Fat Joe disgusting glares.
"I don't feel like talking about butts anymore. You practically eye raped me out there. My poor butt."
"I DID NOT EYE RAPE YOU!" Fat Joe roared in that same childish way.
"Joey!" Lucas growled at him, hissing. "If you don't shut up you're going to be in some big trouble! Don't listen to her, she's just playing mind games with you!"
Noah Black
I had sent out the pack in groups to search for Samantha and took Mason and Jacob with me. I made sure everyone was gone looking before leaving myself, deciding to go in human form at first. Uncle Bill stayed with my father in the hospital who was recovering, thank God.
I didn't even want to think about it; it was making me nervous. Mason and Jacob and I moved south with two other groups from my pack and then we seperated from them.
"There are too much trouble that is happening to Sam," Jacob said, chuckling. I frowned, throwing him a glare.
"None of this is funny, Jake," I said.
"We're all worried, Noah, but you've got to admit it. Your girl knows good and well how to handle herself in these situations. In fact, these are the only times that she knows what to do and how to do it. In normal situations, she's all weird and funny."
"Hah! That's true," Mason said, laughing in agreement.
"Whatever," I muttered, too worried to say anything else. I was proud of her, though. She did know how to handle herself. She never asked for help unless it was dead serious and even then sometimes she would try to fix everything on her own. I was just so worried about Samantha Riley in general. That girl was seriously a trouble magnet; anything could happen to her anywhere and anytime.
We had been walking for three hours straight, in our human forms, and decided that it was time to change into our wolf-forms. We were all starting to undress when we heard a soft thump behind some bushes. Alarmed, we started cautiously walking towards the bushes and stopped abruptly when a blonde head popped up.
Big light blue eyes were staring at the three of us, curious at first and then changed into smug. I glanced at my brothers who looked just as confused as I did. The girl slowly came up, thankfully, in her clothes as I sensed that she was a werewolf.
She had tanned skin which made her big eyes seem even bigger with their light color. Her blonde shiny hair was too perfect; not a single hair standing.
"Who are you?" Mason asked, breaking the silence. She eyed me with admiring eyes but I didn't react. Not to sound very egoistic, but I was used to the attention. After all, before I met Samantha again, I did nothing but women.
The blonde girl stepped out and took two steps towards us and we took two steps back. I narrowed my eyes at her. I was suspicious about her, I wasn't sure what she would do and why she was here. After all, we had passed our territory a long time ago, but we weren't on anyone else's.
"Who are you?" she asked, smirking slightly as she eyed us all slowly. "Wait... I know who you are. The Black brothers. But there can't be only three brothers, right?"
Her voice was low, flirty and confident.
"Right now we are," I answered. "Answer the question."
"I'm Leona Raven."
"As in Bo Raven?" I asked, a little surprised. Bo Raven was Alpha of the Raven Pack and was a good old friend of my father's. Though we had not heard from him in years and now it was surprising that they were back without contacting us.
The girl, Leona, nodded.
"My father," she confirmed. "I am here with my brother, Leo. We are not a threat, Alpha."
"How did you know?"
"I sense it."
We all looked at her and she looked at me for a few seconds. Then Mason spoke.
"What are you doing back?" he asked.
"My father had some business to attend. I heard him say that he was going to contact Alpha John Black soon. Why are you out here, so far from your territory?"
"We're searching for somone," Jacob answered this time. He was staring at her very suspiciously and curiously. I glanced at him with my brows furrowed but ignored it. She wasn't a threat, it was clear. She was harmless.
"Leona?!" A voice called from somewhere behind her. The voice got a face and a body when a guy our age stepped out and revealed himself. Blonde hair, tanned skin and big blue eyes. Her brother, Leo.
"I'm right here," she answered, still looking at us, glancing at Jacob. "This is my twin brother Leo. Leo, these are three of the Black brothers. They are searching for someone."
Leo looked at each of us before nodding once.
"Very nice to finally see you. My father wanted to contact Alpha John these days."
"So we heard," I said. "What are you doing out here alone?"
"We, and a couple of others, were sent to make sure the area is clear for us to stay on. We have a house about fifteen minutes away. Mat I ask who it is that you are searching for?"
"My mate," I said, not giving them names. They were harmless but I knew not to trust anyone these days, so I didn't give them a name. They didn't have to know anything. Yet.
"Is she in trouble?" Leona asked, her big eyes worried. Her eyes were a bit creepy actually. So big and so blue. It was like she was staring right through me. I blinked.
"Yes."
"We have to get going," Mason said. "It was nice to meet you. We will see you again, I hope."
"Yes. I hope so as well," Leona said, smiling at us. "Good luck!"
"Good bye," her brother said, eyeing us carefully.
I mumbled a thank you and we were off again.
Sorry if the space between is really big. I dont have word installed on this one and im not exactly sure how to fix it on the program I have. I'll see if I can do something.
Let me know everyone! Be honest. Thank you:)
