Hey guys.. A guy came and fixed our internet today...Anyways, I'm updating but to be really really honest, I feel like this story is just dragging on and on and on and you get the drill. It feels like its so boring and just doesnt make any much sense, like its lost its "goodness" haha i dont know, but its just the way I feel.

So I really really need you guys to be honest. Tell me what you think of my story, of the entire story so far and if you think this should be enough or if I should stop at 50?

PLEASE BE HONEST!! You guys are the only reason Im still posting this and if you still want me to end it the way I "planned" to (there isnt a plan really lol) then, tell me. If you feel like this is enough, I will make the ending chapter.

Anyway, enjoy!

Chapter 41

I opened the door that led to the rest of the building, the one that came from inside. Noah and Mason were coming to this room so they had to be here somewhere. Shutting behind me quietly, I walked straight ahead seeing as there was no other way. Until I came to a threeway room. Three ways to go. Left, straight or right. I tried to feel Noah's presence, I shut my eyes and concentrated. I felt something, the urge to go to the left. I decided to take it and I hurried, making my way down the left corridor until I knew I had arrived.

Hearing groans and the sounds of fighting, I moved towards it, ignoring the thought of how my pack was doing and if someone had lost their life.

As I moved closer and closer to the current fight where Noah and Mason were, I made out ten guards. My eyes nearly fell out as I realized that there had been more of them before this. I frowned in frustration and marched forwards, my eyes on the guard closest to me. He was trying to get Mason down from behind, while Mason tried to fight another one in front of him.

Reaching him, I elbowed the back of his head, surprising him and as his head went forward from the hit, I kicked him in the rib, elbowing him in the head one more time as he slumped down to the floor. I kicked him hard, knowing he was done and moved on to the next.

This one saw me coming and grinned as he looked me over.

“Creep,” I muttered as I stepped aside right when he jumped towards me. He stumbled down on the floor and I kicked his head down. It collided with the hard stone floor so hard, he was gone immediately. Well, that was easy.

Another one attacked me from behind and being in my beast mode I elbowed him in the ribs, turned around in a split second and kicked hard in his groin. I punched him once in the face, took his head and hit it against the wall and let his motionless body slide down to the floor.

“Samantha?!” Noah yelled in surprise, which was stupid of him. That surprise gave the guard behind him the the perfect moment to smash him to the wall, which made my “seeing red” not just red, but all kinds of color. In one jump, I was on top of the guy who hurt my mate and cracked his neck in one second. He was dead.

Noah had taken down four while since I had come and Mason three. Well then, I must've counted wrong. They had been more than ten. Two left.

Ignoring Noah and Mason I marched to the two disgusting guards, grabbed their heads with a strenght I didn't know I had and collided them together. I sent a kick each to their groins and punched them in the faces, so hard that they flew back against the walls behind them, immediately knocked out.

It felt like deja vu as I was now standing there and turned to see Noah and Mason staring at me just like Victor and Arianna had. Only this time I didn't stand there so long.

“We have to get going,” I said. “Now!”

I turned around and ran back to the room I had come from, hearing Noah and Mason behind me. I barged in, relieved to see the room empty of Vic, Ari and Jake. Hopefully, they had gotten out safely. Now the question was what to do with the pack. I didn't have time to think of an answer as we ran to the window and climbed out, one by one.

Discreetly running back to behind the rocks, I almost fell down of happiness when I saw them there, safe and sound. Well, hurt but still safe. Noah and Mason sighed in relief. Jacob was out. What about the rest?

“You need to go in,” I said, looking at the four guys. “They need you.”

“She's right,” Victor said. I avoided Noah, knowing I'd probably not let him go if I looked into his eyes. They nodded and ran to the front of the building. I watched their human forms shift into werwolves as they joined the fight.

“Let's go, we need to get you home,” I said to Jacob. Arianna and I placed ourselves on each side of him and lifted him up. He groaned a little, his leg hurt and I bit back a growl. These people needed to be taught a lesson but getting Jacob home was the important thing here.

“We'll go slowly,” Arianna told him and he nodded, shutting his eyes as he flinched.

We walked for about five minutes when I stopped and shook my head.

“This isn't working. I'll shift and you two will sit on my back.”

“You can't carry both of us!” Arianna protested but I shook my head.

“You need to hold him, he'll fall otherwise and we can't afford to stay here any longer. We need to get on our territory.”

I didn't wait for more words, instead I shifted and put my faith in my Alpha blood to help me carry them the entire way. I bent down and Arianna helped Jacob to get on my back. She had to help him for a while to get him in a comfortable position so that he wouldn't be in much pain and then she jumped up herself.

“Okay,” she said. I nodded once and I hurried away from this place.

1 hour later

We were halfway there. It took longer than usual since, 1. I couldn't exactly run in full speed since Jacob would probably die of pain and 2. Having both a muscle guy and Arianna on my back was kind of heavy and I tried to save enough energy to avoid stopping for a break.

“It's okay, we'll be home in a few minutes,” Arianna told Jacob who was groaning in pain. It hurt my heart to hear him like that and I pushed myself to go a little bit faster, just so we could patch him up already.

“He's healing slowly,” Arianna said. I understood that she was talking to me. “But he still needs help.”

I let out a huff to let her know I had listened and sighed, hoping it wouldn't be too long before the guys and the pack were home.

About fifteen minutes later, I almost howled in happiness when I stepped into our territory and then saw all the houses that belonged to us and the people in our pack.

“Thank God,” Arianna mumbled.

I hurried the last few steps and the women who had stayed with the children ran out with shock. Aunt Bianca saw us and ran out with her hands on her mouth.

“Oh dear! Jacob!”

Arianna jumped down from my back and they all helped Jacob carefully get down as well. I went behind the house and shifted, thanking Brenda from my pack when she brought me a clean pair of clothes and hurried to put them on as I ran back to Jacob. They had taken him inside now, to the doctor that was waiting for anyone that would be hurt when they came back.

“Oh this will be easy,” he told Jake encouringly. “Will hurt a little but it'll be short.”

Jacob didn't even look anxious about that. He kept saying something.

“My leg, please, my leg. Fix it, please.”

“Fix his leg!” I said loudly and everyone turned to look at me. I realized that I had snapped. “I'm sorry, I'm just worried.”

“Honey, why don't you go rest? Both of you, go up and rest. I'll wake you up when the others arrive.”

Arianna and I nodded and ran up to her room. We stared at each other.

“Are you okay?” I asked her. She nodded.

“Are you? You... you looked kind of...”

“I need a shower,” I said, ignoring her. I meant nothing against her but I was still in shock from myself back there. I had never done anything like that. I had literally become a monster and I just... killed. And I didn't want to talk about it.

“Okay, of course. I'm going to take one, too.”

“I'll be back in a few.”

“Okay.”

I gave her a thankful smile and hurried out of the house and into my own. Ignoring all thoughts and feelings about everything that had just happened, that was happening to my pack, I jumped in the shower and sighed of relief as I felt the warm water run down my body. I stood there for about ten minutes and then I knew I had to get out. They could be here anytime and I had to check up on Jake.

I put on clean underwear and a pair of black jeans and a simple white tshirt. I let my hair air dry and hurried back to Arianna's.

When I got there, she was already down, hiding in a big hoodie that I could feel Aaron's smell over. I walked over to her and gave her a hug.

“He'll be back. They'll all be back.”

She hugged me back, nodding.

“I know. He has too or I'll kick his dead ass.”

I chuckled. We both went to the livingroom where everyone were getting ready to move. I frowned and Aunt Bianca stopped when she saw us.

“We're moving him to his own house, so it'll be easier later.”

We nodded and hurried over to the Black's house that was just a few steps away and helped to push all furniture in the livingroom against the wall. Since it was too hard for both us the women and an injured Jacob to get him up the stairs and into his own room, we brought down his bed instead and put it in the middle of the livingroom where the doctor could help him. The doctor had helped heal the easiest things first and was now moving on to his leg, which scared me because Jacob seemed to be really hurt there. I had never seen him this anxious and in pain.

“Okay, it'll be better if we just clear out the room, please,” the doctor said politely and all of us nodded, hurrying out of the house. Arianna grabbed my arm and dragged me to the kitchen instead.

“Sorry,” she said, “I don't want to be out there. It's cold.”

I gave her a look. “It's fine if you're worried and scared, you don't have to make excuses.”

She sighed, looking down.

“Always attacks, always these things. I hate it. Why can't we just live normally already?”

“Because then life wouldn't be exciting,” I said, grinning half-heartedly. I sighed, though and joined her look on the floor. “I hate it, too.”

And it feels like it's all my fault.

No, I don't feel sorry for myself, honestly. I feel sorry for the ones around me. Being the trouble magnet that I and everyone else knows that I am, it's hard to think that it's someone elses or something elses fault. I'm the reason to practically every problem we've had here and it doesn't help that they all started once I moved back from New York. So yeah, I feel like shit.

“Uuuughh!”

Arianna and I looked at each other at the sound of Jacob's groans. I squeezed my hands, wishing I could take his pain on me instead and help him with it. I had to get out there. I walked out of the kitchen, with Arianna behind me and in to the livingroom. I took a chair a dragged it next to Jake's bed as the doctor was doing something with his leg that I refused to look at. I sat down and took Jake's hand in mine as Arianna sat down on the couch that was pushed up against the wall. Jacob turned his head, his eyes, red and full of tears, on me.

“I'm sorry this happened to you,” I said, almost beginning to cry. “I'm so sorry. It will be okay. You'll be fine soon, he's just going to fix it.”

Another long groan came out and he clenched his jaw, squeezing his eyes shut. His hand squeezed mine and even though it hurt, I didn't tell him to stop. I said I wished to take his pain on me and if this small thing was what I could do for him, I would.

“He's almost done, almost done,” I whispered, watching the doctor twist his leg back to it's place. I shut my eyes, turning away. I couldn't watch it, not while he was groaning in pain. It made it even worse.

Finally, after five more painful minutes, the doctor was done. He gave Jacob a sleeping pill that knocked him out right away and I sighed, shaking my head. This day had been so long and it was still so much ahead.

I put my head down on his bed, next to our entwined hands and shut my eyes.
