Chapter 31

(Ash POV)

I woke up next to Gabriel smirking since she put this hickey on me its only fair if we had matching ones I grinned and moved her on her back she actually a deep sleeper most of the nights which would make this even easier than it should be I looked at the time I still had an hour before I had to wake her up I quickly went to the bathroom and took a shower and brushed my teeth and but on my team uniform and the team sweats, I went back to the bed grinning I climb on the bed on top of her while she laid underneath me in her deep sleep I chuckled before I latched onto her neck making sure I left a decent sized mark on her she was moaning quietly underneath me but I knew she wasn’t awake or she would have pushed me away I leaned up and looked at it grinning before looking at her face she was still asleep I laughed and lifted her shirt  over her head slowly not waking her before I started on her chest she was squirming underneath making small noises as she arched into me I chuckled again leaning up as she settled down before I started again leaving small marks all over her before she snapped her eyes open and screeched I covered her mouth with my hand grinning as I came back up to her.

“Sshh you mom is still downstairs” I said she glared at me as I removed my hands.

“What are you doing raping me in my sleep” She said I frowned

“If I was raping you, you sure seemed like you were enjoying it,” I said smirking as her face turned red she pushed me off the bed I groaned rubbing my head she always does this when she’s surprised. She peeked over the bed laughing sheepishly at me.

“Sorry Ash” She said I frowned before I heard a loud knock on the door Gabriel’s eyes went wide she pulled the sheets up on her I hope the marks were hidden. I stood just as the door was opening I looked around and got underneath the bed.

“Gabriel are you okay” I heard a woman’s voice I think it was Gabriel’s mother I saw her feet come towards the bed I held my breath and scooted further back only to see my clothes in a pile by her bed I groaned internally.

“Yeah I’m fine I just fell that’s all” She said quickly I shook my head reaching my hand out and pulling the clothes underneath the bed slowly and quietly as they continued to talk.

“I heard you met a boy at school recently” She said I heard the bed dip in and I saw her feet hanging off the bed god how long is she going to be.

“Yeah um did dad tell you” She asked I could tell she was blushing right now with embarrassment.

“No, actually you’re little sister did she kept going on and on about him and the teddy bear she’s carrying around” She said chuckling while Gabriel groaned.

“I told Ash not to buy her that stupid teddy bear” I heard her mumble her mother laughed slightly again

“And when do you’re parents get to meet this Ash fellow” She asked I was cracking up inside it would be great if I just came from underneath the bed and said hi Gabriel would be horrified.

“Daddy already met him” She said

“What, where was I,” She asked

“I don’t know he came to pick me up for a date a couple weeks ago” Gabriel said I heard her shift on the bed can they finish this conversation god its tight down here I looked around coming across a box I opened it was a whole bunch a pictures of her and other people I’m guess this was here old school friend there was one of her and some guy the guy had his arm wrapped around her shoulder smiling into the camera while she looked bored I shook my head and went to the next one grinning when I came across the picture that I gave her and she told me to throw them away when she kept her copy I went through the rest stopping at one with her a black sting bikini I think she was in the house when she took this photo whoa this is hot I grinned at that and pulled my phone out taking a picture my phone made a little shutter noise my eye grew wide oops.

“Honey did you hear that” He mom asked getting off the bed

“No I don’t know what you’re talking about anyways I have to get ready for school” Gabriel said quickly standing up with her mother.

“When am I going to meet the Ash” She asked

“I don’t know we’ll talk about it later” Gabriel said walking her mother to the door

“Wait I’m not finished I know I should have given you this talk a long time ago but since I’m here We can talk about it now I know you’re at the age when you’re thinking about sex but you need to protect yourself and” was she really giving her the sex talk right now.

“Mom stop we aren’t having sex” Gabriel said quickly I laughed that’s true I wouldn’t call what I do to her sex more like I don’t know but when we do it the right way it’ll be way better.

“Gabriel you don’t have to lie to me I was your age once and I ”

“No mom we aren’t doing anything at all leave its to early for this talk” Gabriel said I could see her push her mother out the door and slam it while locking it she leaned against the door while I came out from underneath the bed grinning at her flushed face, she also had her shirt back on.

“What were you doing Ash” She asked frowning at me with her red face.

“Nothing I just found this sexy little photo of you in a string bikini” I said smirking as her face grew a shade deeper she walked passed me and went straight into the bathroom with me staring her cute little bum. I grinned and took my bag from underneath the bag and started to get dressed while she showered.

(Gabriel POV)

My mom is so embarrassing sometimes, any other time she leaves me alone like with my previous boyfriends she never said anything about them nor did she have the talk with me about anything in fact we barely talked at all, I mostly spent the little time I had with my father. I sighed and got out the shower drying off quickly I groaned I left my clothes in my room I’ll just brush my teeth and dry my hair then, when I was finished I opened the door and walked out. Ash was sitting on the bed with the box going through my photos. I walked quickly to my dresser pulling out my under clothes.

“Gabs bend over a tad bit more please” Ash said I stood up straight feeling y face turn red, I turned around and Ash was grinning at me I frowned at her.

“Leave” I said she laughed and stood walking over to me I held my towel tighter and I was backed into the dresser with her hovering over me smirking.

“Now why would I do that when you’re in nothing but a towel,” She said moving her hand to caress my face I blushed again as she leaned down and kissed me slowly I stiffened slightly before I started kissing her back my hand began to loosen on the towel as I wrapped my arms around her I felt her grin before I felt cold air hit my skin I gasp and pulled away blushing hard I pressed myself against her so she wouldn’t see anything.

“Ash what the hell” I said she groaned when I looked up at her.

“I didn’t do anything it dropped when you let go of it” She said with a tight voice I raised my eyebrow at her.

“See this is what happens when you pull stuff off of people” I said she shook her head at me her eyes were becoming glazed over as she stared at me I swallowed oh man.

“Ash turn around” I said she didn’t say anything but lift me up and sat me on the dresser grinning at me stepping between my legs.

“Ash we have school” I said as she started kissing my neck she mumbled something into me while I gave her more access I sighed before I pushed her away.

“Ash stop we have to get to school now turn around” I said she groaned and turned around while got off my dresser and put my underwear and bra on. I watched her walk over to the bed and sit down while I walked in my closet and pulled out my uniform I slipped on my skirt before I buttoned my shirt up tucking it into my skirt I went back to my dresser and put my knee highs sock on and shoes.

“Alright I’m ready” I said she nodded holding up a picture of me and dreaded bikini smirking.

“Can I keep this” She asked I flushed and snatched it out her hand I never wore it out the house I wasn’t comfortable wearing it out and my friends dared me to get it.

“No stay out of my stuff” I said she started laughing opening the window

“Just asking I have a picture of it anyway, bring the jersey” She said winking at me as she jumped out the window I went over to the window seeing her wave at me and run away from my house I groaned when I get my hands on that cell phone I’m deleting it. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs my mom was still here along with my sister which was weird.

“What are you guys still doing here,” I asked grabbing my keys

“She couldn’t find her matching shoe now we are both running late” She said quickly grabbing everything my sister was holding the stupid teddy bear smiling at me she was in her blue sundress today with her matching blue shoes and ribbon in her hair I shook my head I have to buy her some jeans or something.

“I would help but I can’t be late for school” I said I already missed a week and half of this week.

“It’s okay I still want to talk to later after school” She said giving me a look I groaned

“Mom I already said we weren’t doing anything” I said she looked at me no believing me before she tapped my neck.

“Then what’s that Gabriel,” She asked I looked in the mirror and flushed a bright red color I’m going to kill her.

“That’s what I thought I will be talking to you and I want to meet him” She said I nodded and left out embarrassed I got in my car and pulled out the driveway frowning that’s what she was doing this morning I saw a truck pull up beside me and honk I turned my head it was Ash grinning at me I glared at her.

“Ash why did you leave one on my neck I’m going to kill you” I yelled her eyes got big before she rolled her window up and speed off to school why is she speeding she can get into an accident that way.

(Ash POV)

“Gabby I said sorry you did the same thing” I whined following her around the school I have been doing this all day it was lunch time and she wasn’t talking to me I even gave her my team jacket so she could cover her neck I admit it is kind of big and I may have gone a little over board.

“Come on Gabs if it makes you feel better my mark is showing” I said we walked into the cafeteria I only had on my under amour shirt muscle shirt which exposed my neck I couldn’t hide it unless I had the jacket I gave to her which could zip up to her neck actually to her chin at least she got to cover hers.

“No Ash it doesn’t, my mom saw it this morning” she said oh she didn’t mention that.

“I’m sorry did you get in trouble or something” I asked worried

“No she wants to meet you now and give me the talk” She mumbled I gave a hesitant laugh I didn’t think she would want to meet me.

“Tell her I’ll meet her on Christmas then” I said that should be enough time to prepare for this now I’m nervous and it isn’t even Christmas yet.

“Okay but I’m still mad at you,” She said looking at my neck with a small smile I sighed as we reached the table.

“I’ll make it up to you” I said once we sat down she didn’t say anything but nod.

“Damn Ash what happened to you” Alex said looking at my neck smirking at me.

“Nothing drop it” I said frowning at him the others were now looking at it chuckling.

“I said the same thing yesterday” Aly said laughing I glared at her

“See what I have to put up with,” I said to Gabriel she frowned at me I guess her situation is worse.

“So we aren’t talking again and I thought I was making progress,” I said groaning at her I swatted Sean’s hand away as he touched the marks.

“Don’t touch me” I said he laughed moving his hand away.

“She must be real good if you let her mark you” Alex said

“I was just distracted,” I said frowning

“Exactly, she must be real good then to have you distracted” He said laughing I rolled my eyes them groaned when I saw Scarlett coming towards us.

“ Someone hide me” I said looking over Gabriel’s head she looked over and frowned at her or glared I laughed a little.

“Ash darling I tried calling you again when the line disconnected last night and I didn’t get an answer it went straight to voice mail I was so worried that something might have happened to you” She said wrapping her arms around me I groaned and pushed her away.

“I don’t understand what you don’t get about the words I don’t like you and stay away from me” I said frustrated at her she frowned and looked at my neck.

“Ash I know you’re playing hard to get, I know those two aren’t you’re girlfriends either, I saw that one sucking faces with that kid over there in the hallway” She said pointing to Jenna and Tristan Jenna smiled at me sheepishly while Tristan sat there emotionless as usual.

“And I saw her out last night with some guy holding hands” She said pointing to Samantha she let out a nervous laugh as her face turned pink.

“So either they’re cheating on you or you guys were never in a relationship from the start” She said grinning at me but frowned once again when she looked at my neck.

“And who marked you” She asked I glared at her she really getting to me.

“None of your business now leave me alone find someone else to stalk” I said rolling my eyes at her and turning around the table was quite and Gabriel was stiff beside me with her hands curled up into a ball I looked at her she was frowning.

“That okay Ash because I just give you one” She said before she quickly started to suck on my neck I grabbed her and pulled her head up glaring at her I hate when girls sucked on my neck or get any where near my neck.

“I don’t like you, I hate you, you are a fucking crazy, ass stalker I could never love someone like you matter fact I don’t think could love someone like you” I hissed at her loudly pushing her again she fell to the floor looking up at me with wide eyes Gabriel stood up and tugged on my shirt telling me to leave I looked down at her she was glaring at Scarlett and Scarlett was glaring back at her Gabriel grabbed my hand smirking at her if I wasn’t mad right now I would find that so cute my little Gabby is jealous. I turned to the others they were looking at me surprised along with the rest of the cafeteria okay so maybe I went a little to far but she’s pissing me off.

“So it’s you isn’t it, this little skank is the one that you were talking about, ” I heard Scarlett say I looked back at her she was standing up and walking towards her Gabriel moved from beside me glaring at her opened her mouth but I put my hand over her mouth and pulled her back to me the last thing I need is for Gabriel to get in a cat fight with this chick.

“No she isn’t, and stay away from her too,” I said pulling Gabriel out the cafeteria who was frowning beside me.

“I could have taken her Ash” she said I rolled my eyes at her

“I don’t care if you could have, how would you explain it to the others” I said smirking at her.

“Didn’t think about that part” She mumbled I laughed wrapping my arm around her

“My little Gabby was jealous”, I said poking her now glowing red cheeks she looked at me.

“No I wasn’t she called me skank” She said I laughed again smirking at her.

“It’s okay to say that you were” I said her cheeks deepened again

“I wasn’t” She said I chuckled.

“So you wouldn’t mind if I go back to her and tell her that I’ll give her a chance” I asked turning around and going back Gabriel grabbed my hand pulling me I smirked at her as she blushed I’ll take that as a yes. I bent down and kissed her on her lips smiling before I walked us to Abigail’s office since we couldn’t leave because of the game today.

“Abigail” I said walking into her office she turned to us and smiled.

“Hey you guys what brings you here” She asked

“Nothing running away from that crazy girl” I said she laughed at me

“Yeah I heard about her Scarlett right” She asked I nodded my head yeah.

“You guys are free to do whatever you like but try to keep it down Annie and her brother are both sleeping” She said I nodded

“Is her brother just like her,” I asked

“No well kind of he’s taller than her, he’s also small and cute but don’t tell him that he has anger problems” She said shaking her head I laughed I want to meet him Gabriel and I both sat down on the bed in the back I pulled the curtain closed and laid down on the bed and sighed.

“I feel nasty” I said Gabriel looked at me confused I laughed.

“What do you mean” She asked

“Well I had a leech on my neck at lunch now I feel dirty” I said she frowned but let a out a small laugh while she dug through her bag she pulled out some wipes and sat on top of me and wiped my neck off I laughed at her as she scrubbed it harder.

“See now it’s all gone” She said grinning at me pecking me kissing my neck I flipped us over as she let out a fit of giggles.

“Now what do we do” I asked smirking she shrugged as I unzipped jacket exposing her neck I grinned at it, it was kind of big.

“You know I think if you put something warm on that, it should die down some” I said kissing it lightly.

“I wouldn’t have to do it if you didn’t rape me” She said I frowned here we go with the rape again.

“I didn’t rape you, I just touched you and kissed you” I said she frowned back at me as I unbuttoned her shirt today she had on a cream lace bra I looked at her chest she had light red marks over them.

“See, I was just claiming you” I said smirking and pointing to the marks she blushed looking down at them before she smacked my upside my head I rubbed it frowning.

“Why do you always do that but you get mad when I do it” She asked frowning

“I can’t have someone taking what’s mine and I didn’t get mad Gabs, its called revenge plus I might find it fun marking you all the time” I said pecking her on her lips as she blushed at me.

“Then keep away from my neck” She said

“Only if you keep away from my neck,” I said back she frowned shaking her head no

“No, I like you’re neck” She said wrapping her legs around my waist and changing our position I grabbed her waist as she sat on top of me.

“If I can’t do your neck, then you can’t do mines” I said smirking at her she laughed before she kissed my neck where the mark was she started to bite it lightly making me groan I flipped us and she squealed

“No” I said scolding her wagging my finger at her she laughed at me and I kissed her tenderly smirking as she wrapped her hands around my neck I could feel her smiling while we kissed it was a regular closed mouth kiss that we rarely shared.

“Ash and Gabriel I hope you two aren’t doing anything inapropriate in that bed” I heard Abigail call out I groaned and pulled back.

“You can join us if you want” I said smirking but stop when I felt Gabriel hit me

“Ouch” I said I looked under me at her she was frowning at me with her arms crossed pushing her chest up I stared at them reaching my hand out.

“You go Gabriel” Abigail said laughing Gabriel buttoned her shirt up before she zipped the jacket up and pushed me to the side and opened the curtain walking back to the front with Abigail I sighed and walked up there too

“Thanks a lot Abigail you ruined my fun” I said to her she laughed as Gabriel frowned at me with her growling stomach I smiled I forgot we didn’t get to finish lunch I pulled out my phone and walked out her office calling a carry out place I placed my order and came back in it should take about 20 minutes for everything to get here I order two pies one for Abigail and one for me and Gabriel and some spaghetti for Gabriel and I since she been complaining about wanting spaghetti for the past week.

I pulled Gabriel frowning self up from the chair and sat down placing her on my lap.

“You know frowning is going to mess up that pretty little face of yours” I said she blushed at me while I grinned and kissed her nose.

“So cute when you blush” I mumbled to her quietly making her face turn red again

“You two are too precious” Abigail said looking at us smiling I laughed and Gabriel was mumbling something under her breath looking at her hands.

“I know you guys probably get asked this a lot but, when are you two going to get together” Abigail asked curiously I didn’t know we been messing around for over a month now and I still didn’t know how she felt about me I hoping we can get together soon that would be nice.

“The way she’s going never” Gabriel said I looked at her frowning and shocked

“What’s that supposed to mean,” I asked she scrunched up her face at me.

“You know what I’m talking about” She said I groaned now we are back to the hickey and rape.

“Thanks Abigail you’re always ruining stuff” I said looking up at her frowning she started laughing at us.

“I don’t find it funny” I mumbled making her laugh even more I told Gabriel to get up when she did I left out, the food should be here by now I turned down the hall seeing Scarlett talking to Cynthia oh god not the people I want to see, I turned back around and went through a side door that lead to the outside and walked all the way around to the front of the building where the delivery guy just showed up I waved him over when he reached me I gave him the money and he gave me the food I checked everything and nodded before I went back in the school and back to the office.

“Guys I’m back” I said they looked up at me I sat everything down on the table.

“We thought you ran off to sulk somewhere” Gabriel said I rolled my eyes.

“Ash Davis does not sulk” I said pulling the little table over to her I opened the bags and took out her plate of spaghetti and mines.

“You want some” I asked Abigail she shook her head smiling shrugged before I gave her, her pie.

“Here I ordered you a pie,” I said giving her a knife, plate and fork.

“Spaghetti yum” Gabriel said unwrapping it before she dug in I rolled my eyes and ate my food I didn’t want to eat to much because of the game and after gym we will be practicing until the end of the day since practice had to be cancelled yesterday.

“Gabby you’re making a mess” I said grabbing a napkin she had spaghetti sauce all over her face mostly on her mouth if Abigail wasn’t sitting there I would have licked her clean and maybe did some other stuff. I wiped off her mouth while she sat there blushing as always.

(Gabriel POV)

I still didn’t see why Ash wouldn’t let me smack that hoe I could’ve taken her but no she had to cover my mouth and pull me back. I admit I was jealous, just a tad bit jealous though not the crazy jealous like she is. I sighed I think I really do like her I looked over at Ash she was with the rest of the basketball team practicing for tonight’s big game against Voltrek High school home of the Tiger they been practicing since we left gym class I of course got to come to since I’m the manager turns out if we win the California state championship we get to go to the national championships I’m still confused on how this all works but I guess I’ll ask Ash to explain it to me later the coach tried to explain it but I wasn’t following. The coach blew his whistle telling them to go take a break they all stop what they were doing and went to sit down Ash came over to me grinning she was sweating like crazy I mean the kind were the sweat rolls down you’re face and drops.

“Gabs don’t make that face at me” She said laughing I just realized that I had my face scrunched up.

“Sorry you’re just ew” I said scrunching up my face again her hair was flat, wet and dripping at least she changed into her regular practice clothes instead of keeping the game uniform on.

“You don’t think it’s sexy when I sweat” She said chuckling.

“No I don’t think it is,” I said shaking my head laughing she sighed and stood up

“What about now” she said taking off her shirt slowly and running her hands through her hair smirking at me I started laughing again looking at her shiny abs as they glistened with sweat yes it was a little sexy just a little though I was never a fan of sweat.

“No its cute not sexy” I said grinning as her smirk dropped she looked down at herself frowning.

“Sean come here for a sec” She shouted Sean looked at her confused before he ran over to us, what is she doing now.

“Do you think I’m cute or sexy,” she said flexing her abs he looked at her with a dumb expression in his face not knowing what to say.

“I guess if I was a girl I would say sexy,” He said slowly and unsurely glancing at the two of us Ash turned and grinned at me triumphantly Sean walked away confused.

“See he said I was sexy” She said I shook my head at her as she sat back down.

“Are you going to put you’re shirt back on now” I asked she shook her head

“Nope until you that I’m sexy then the shirt stays off” She said grinning at me I shrugged.

“I don’t care if you don’t put it on” I said she grinned and nodded before she pulled me into a hug I squeaked.

“Ash get off of me please” I whined squirming around while she grinned at me.

“This is the part where you say I’m sexy” She said I shook my head no

“Fine then” She said rubbing sweat on me I cringed in disgust and tired to move away

“Okay, okay you’re sexy,” I said she laughed letting go of me while I frowned at her she handed me an extra towel she had and dried the sweat off of her well the little she had left on her.

“Ash that was disgusting” I said she smirked at me.

“It was just a little sweat,” she said as the coach blew his whistle.

“Got to go Gabs” She, looked around before she gave me a quick kiss I blushed at her as she smirked and ran off I frowned the idiots going to get us caught.

“Davis put a shirt on,” the coach yelled at her when she got over there.

“Sorry coach it was hot” She said I saw him shake his head before he told her to go practice then I shook my head as the coach came over.

“Alright Gabriel, how do you think the boys are doing” He asked sitting down watching Ash tell them the drills to do right now they were doing suicides.

“They seem to be in shape and the boy who didn’t know how to dribble can do it now fairly decent also they all have improved from the first game” I said he nodded looking at his watch.

“Schools almost over they can take a break until the game starts” He said I nodded that means they have a few free hours they been practicing for 3 hours so far with little breaks for water.

“Davis come here” Coach yelled Ash stop running and ran over to us out of breath.

“Yes Coach” She said I threw her towel at her she caught it and grinned at me glancing at her Abs and looking back at me I blushed and turned away.

“Davis pay attention” The coach said Ash turned back to him

“Finish the rest of the drill you have planned then you guys can go home and take a break until the game and tell them to shower I want you guys smelling like daisies” He said Ash nodded throwing the towel on the bleacher next to me I frowned at it before I threw her shirt at her she laughed and put it on while she was walking backwards smirking at me I rolled my eyes at her when she tripped and fell.

“I swear that kid plays around to much but she one hell of a player I haven’t seen someone with her skills in awhile and the funny thing is she does it for fun I don’t even think she plays to win most of the time I had to talk her into playing for college when I mention a full scholarship that’s when she started looking at the offers that were coming at her left and right” he said looking at Ash as she stood up and brushed herself off giving me a grin and thumbs up before she ran off to complete the drills.

“Yes she is a idiot sometimes” I mumbled smiling at her as she ran up and down the court dribbling the ball the coach let out a semi chuckle.

“Good luck with her Gabriel” He said walking away I looked at him confused before I shrugged it off I looked back at the team as they huddle around each other Ash was talking in the middle before they broke apart.

“I finished for the day Gabs you want to hang at my house before the game,” She asked grabbing her bag.

“Yeah sounds good to me, but hurry up in the locker room ” I said she nodded and ran over to the locker room I packed my things up and waited for her.

(Ash POV)

I had just showered and walked out of the locker room I heard basketballs bouncing around I thought I ended practice I looked to see the opposing team that we go against today I frowned why are they here so early the game doesn’t start till 7 I think.

“I told you I wasn’t interested in you” I heard Gabriel said my frown deepened when I looked over at who she was talking to it was the team captain I never liked the douche bag he was grinning at her saying something I walked over to them and wrapped my arms around her waist resting my chin on her shoulder glaring at Stan who was glaring back at me.

“Stan” I said

“Ash”

“Gabby is everything okay” I asked she nodded her head still frowning at him

“Yeah, I just want to leave now and you’re hair is wet,” She said turning in my arms touching my hair she would get off of the topic can’t she tell I’m trying to be intimidating I rolled my eyes at her. Stan was looking at us glaring

“I know I should dry it lets go” I grinned and kissed Gabriel on the edge of her mouth she turned bright red.

“Watch whose girl you’re messing with Stanley” I said smirking at him as we walked passed him I could feel the holes he was glaring into my back he hates being called Stanley.

“You’re leaving your car here” I said as we walked to my truck

“Sure no point in wasting gas” she mumble hopping into my truck I got in after I closed her door.

“You know Ash you should really invest in a car” She said I rolled my eyes.

“Why would I drive a car when I can drive a truck” I said she groaned

“Because I hate hopping in and out of this thing” She said I laughed

“So you expect me to buy a car just so you don’t have to hop in and out of it” I asked her raising my eyebrow she nodded

“Yup that’s exactly what you’re supposed to do” She said I shook my head and parked the truck I got out and opened her door.

“I have a better idea I’ll just pick you up” I said grinning as I lifted out the car she laughed an wrapped her legs around my waist.

“I like this idea better too” She said as I walked us to the door.

“Gabs reach into my pocket and get the keys” I said she nodded and went in my pocket grabbing them I took them and opened the door tripping slightly she squealed then started laughing again I laughed along with her walking inside I kicked the door shut. We were nose to nose grinning at each other before I leaned in kissing her quickly.

“ Now what are we going to do for 3 hours alone in an empty house” I said looking thoughtful she blushed at me.

“Nothing you’re going to rest for you’re game” She said I groaned at her

Ash went to take another shower for some reason I sighed before I went to look around the room to see what she likes I went in the closet looking through her clothes maybe I can get her some more clothes she seems to like under amour and Nike I walked further into only to trip over a box I sighed and moved it over looking at it curiously since she went through my box then I get to go through hers I opened the box taking out a card I opened it and read it.

I put the card down and dug into the box pulling out a plastic bag I turned it over and everything fell out I lifted it up confused before I blushed oh my god I looked at the other ones too, turning redder my the minute I know she gays and has sex but this was too much I think.

“Gabs can we not make this awkward ” She asked I couldn’t stop blushing at her she groaned running her hands through her hair frustrated she stood up and walked around the room I now just realized that she only had on her bra and Boxer briefs I think I like her in boxer briefs better than boxers.

“No I don’t like it” I said looking around the whole gym was crowded covered in a see of blue I spotted Aly and the others.

“about time you two made it”  coach said I rolled my eyes we are on time.

“No they already know what I want and they know what happens when I don’t get what I want right boys” I said smirking at them when they looked at me with wide eyes nodding their heads I nodded that’s what I thought I turned back to the coach both him and Gabriel were shaking their heads at me.

“What” I asked shrugging I was only going to make them stay after to do suicides until I told them to stop and who knows how long it would take me to tell them to stop.

“Nothing Davis” he said I laughed telling Gabriel to get up before my face turned serious

“Alright boys get you’re pansy asses out there lets win this shit” I screamed everyone screamed with me chanting as they ran out the locker room I laughed at them dropping my serious face I hate being serious Gabriel was standing next to me grinning with the coach.

“When do you think they’ll realize that their not in their uniform” I asked the coach sighed mumbling something about a dumb team we waited for about 30 seconds when we heard running feet coming our way.

“Coach we forgot our clothes” One of them said I looked at all of them they only had on their shorts.

“No shit Sherlock hurry up all of you move your asses,” I yelled at them grinning in my head as they all quickly pulled on their jersey.

“Alright boy’s lets try this again the right way” I screamed they nodded waiting for me

“Lets get out there and win this shit because this is our house” I screamed every chanted our house while I lead them on the run out the locker screaming with them we made it to the gym chanting getting the crowd hyped up before the ref blew his whistle calling for the captains. I walked over to the middle where they were talking I sighed.

“You boys shake hands I don’t want any dirty playing you hear me” He said I nodded Stan looked at me.

“That right there is a girl” He said pointing to me I rolled my eyes the ref looked at  him.

“No trash talking either” he said telling us to shake Stan and I looked at each other before we walked away I went back over to the team.

“Alright formation A for defense and Formation 2 for offense” I said Gabriel was sitting on the bench looking around bored.

“You can sit with them if you like” I said pointing to the others who were behind her in a high seat bleach right in the front.

“Really” She asked I nodded she stood up I walked over with her.

“So have you thought about it,” She asked I groaned great now we are having this conversation again,

“Matt help her up” I said Matt looked down at us nodding at me coming to where the rails were.

“Good luck Lee” She said quietly I groaned as Matt sat her down on her feet I don’t know why she insist on calling me Lee I could hear her laughing as I walked onto the court.

“Ready” the ref asked I nodded along with Stan the ref put his whistle in his mouth I spread my feet apart and crouched down long with Stan the ref blew the whistle throwing the ball in the air I jumped as high as I could and used all my strength to pass the ball to my team thankfully It flicked past his hand and went right into Sean he looked at me dribbling down the court Stan was on my ass while I was running I looked at his feet trying to figure out the side he was week on whichever side that was that’s where I would take the ball I shook my head signally for Sean to pass the ball to somewhere else looks like we have a change of plans I shook Stan and went past all my players making sure they saw my hand signals I guess we’ll be starting with formation B. I sighed running up the court Sean had already passed the ball Chad number 11 had the ball now Sean ran over to where I was a took Stan off of me while I ran up to Chad he threw me the ball I caught it and dribbled to the whoop dodging people I could see Stan running at me with full speed this should be amusing when he was close enough he reach out for the ball but I swerved around him making him stumble as I went for the lay up. Alright we are ahead by two we ran back to the other side while the other team passed the ball in.

“Cover your guys” I yelled to my team they nodded and went to their assigned players I sighed when Stan had the ball in his hand I ran up to him as he tried to dribble around me the key word was try I don’t know how he made captain but this guy can’t dribble.

“You’re wasting my time Stan” I said taking the ball from him I dribble down the court passing it to Sean he made the shot this should be an easy game to win.

(Gabriel POV)

We are now at the second half with a two minute break before we start again we were down by 10 which was really bad I could tell Ash was frustrated she had got out of the game so the others could play once she was out we started dropping I climbed out of the bleachers and went over to the team.

“Ash get back in the game” I said

“I am when the break is over” She ran her hands through her hair groaned kicking one of the chairs I don’t know why she took herself out the game in the first place she has scouts here today she needs to be in the game as much as possible.

“Ash you know that the scouts are here” I said she groaned

“I forgot” She said grinning at me sheepishly I shook my head.

“You need to step up your game” I said she laughed at me.

“I know Gabs” she said as the ref came and told her she had 10 second

“Now sit you butt down and cheer for me” She said kissing me on the cheek before she ran off to the team I heard her shouting at them before they all screamed and went back in the game I sat down next to the coach who was watching the game intensely.

“Coach you think we can get back up” I asked he nodded

“Yeah we should be able to if we can get 5 shots and a couple of three pointers than we should be good and Ash knows what she is doing, so we should be able to make it well I hope we do” He said I nodded and turned to the game when I heard cheering Ash just shot a three pointer bring us to 23 now all we need is two more 3 pointers and one 2 and we’ll be ahead I looked at the time we had 20 minutes left hopefully the other team won’t score any more points. I watched Ash say something to Sean who nodded everyone ran at once I never understand how Ash comes up with these plays but they always work out well Sean passed the ball to number 11 or dribbled down the court before he passed it up the court to Ash who shot another three pointer they all slapped each others hands before they all went to their player I looked at the clock again with wide eyes ten minutes has passed already and we were still down by 1 which is good I guess I looked back the other team had the ball and were making their way up the court.

“And this is when we start fouling people” The coach said watching I watched waiting for a foul but it never came but I did see Ash jump up and smack the ball down as it was going up for the net she looked pissed off right now as Stan looked at her with an open mouth before he frowned at her retreating form he started running after but he was to late she already made the shot making us take the lead by 1 point I grinned and cheered for her she looked at me briefly giving me a small smile before she went back to the game.

“Gabriel stop distracting my player” Coach said beside me I looked at him he was grinning at me I laughed slightly feeling my cheeks heat up, it looked like we were going to win the game we only had 2 minutes left and number 21 just stole the ball from the other team I watched excitedly as the game went on but my excitement drop when the other team stole the ball and shot they were leading by one point and we had less that 2 minutes left Ash called a time out everyone huddled nodding occasionally as Ash talked the ref blew his whistle telling them to go back the other team through the ball in.

(Ash POV)

God he just pissed me off, I smacked the ball out his hand as he shot it and ran down the court shooting a three pointer we were now ahead by one point.  I heard Gabriel cheer for me I gave her a small smile before I went back to the game ignoring Stan as he continued to try an taunt me he kept saying stuff about Gabriel but I couldn’t let that distract me right now the other team stole the ball away from Chase I groaned as they made the shot I looked at the time we had less than 2 minutes left I called a time out and told the team to come over

“Chase steal the ball pass it to Sean, Sean pass it to Mike and then pass it to me I’ll be open and ready we have to win this game to get in the championships and if we don’t I’m going to be pissed off” I said they all nodded and we broke up and went back on the floor. The clock started I had Stan on my tail but I could easily shake him when I needed to I saw Sean pass the ball to Mike I looked at Stan.

“ So you agreeing to share now” He said I shook my head smirking

“She doesn’t want you Stanley no one wants you I mean look at you, you cant’ even dribble, now why would she down grade ” I said running past him he was still tailing me but I didn’t mind Mike threw the ball to me I dribbled it all the way to the court with only a good ten seconds left I grinned we were going to win today I look beside me and smirked at Stan he glared while I jump to do the lay up but I felt someone ram into making me fall I felt my body smack against the court floor well it seemed like my head hit the floor harder than the rest of my body, the buzzer went off I groaned laying on the ground the ref blew the whistle while I heard feet running over to me my head is killing me right now and my ankle hurts.

“Ash are you okay” The coach asked bending down to me I groaned again I’m seeing two of him Gabriel was bending down beside me worried shit we didn’t win I closed my eyes for a second breathing in to clear my vision.

“Is she okay she gets three fouls shots if she can do it” I heard the ref say

“Ash open you’re eyes” Gabriel said I opened them my vision was little blurry but I could see straight now.

“Do you think you can do the foul shots” Coach asked

“Yea sure” I mumbled he held out his hand I took and he helped me up slowly I swayed a little shaking my head as everyone clapped my team tapped me on my shoulder when the coach let me go I felt a sharp pain go up my leg I breath in sharply.

“Ash you’re hurt” Gabriel said from beside me I gave her a small smile

“I’m fine Gabs I just need to do the foul throws and we will win” I said she nodded frowning at me as I limped to the free throw line the ref threw me the ball I dribbled it waiting for the ref to blow the whistle he blew it I bent my knee and did a small jump shooting the ball I winced when I came back down I watched the blurry ball go in I looked at the score we were tied now I sighed we can’t afford to go into over time right now, the ref handed me the ball again I dribbled again before I shot ignoring the pain again I missed the shot and cursed under my breath. The ref handed me the ball again I bounced concentrating

“You can do it Lee “ Gabriel said from the sidelines I looked at her she was grinning at me I groaned at her shaking my head at her she laughed as I bounced the ball getting into position I jumped letting the ball go out my hand I closed my eyes as my ankle gave out on me I heard a cheer go off in the crowd I opened my eyes when I felt someone wrapped there arms around my neck.

“Ash you did it you guys are going to the championships” Gabriel said excitedly I laughed and hugged her kissing her on the cheek.

“Yes we are but I don’t know if I’ll be able to play” I said shaking my head at my throbbing ankle she looked at it sadly as everyone ran over to me I sighed when my team helped me up and with Gabriel walking beside when a man stepped in front of me.

“Ash Davis” he said I nodded

“I’m the scout for UCLA and I come to congratulate you for getting on the team for next year” he said I grinned and shook his hand he patted me on my back.

“You’ll have everything you need will be sent in the mail” He said I nodded

“Thank you sir” I said he left Gabriel grinned at me jumping on me hugging me I laughed excited that I got the scholarship I wanted I ignored the fading pain in my ankle as I spun her around laughing.

“You got it” She said excitedly I think she was happier than I was about the scholarship.

“Yeah I got it” I said she laughed again and kissed me on my cheek

“Ash put her down and get over here so we can look at you’re ankle and head” coach yelled I laughed and set a now frantic Gabriel down.

“Oh my god I’m sorry I forgot about you’re ankle ” She said looking down at it I laughed at her and shifted my weight to the other side.

“It’s fine I can’t feel it anymore” I said grinning my ankle was going numb so it can’t be that bad she looked at me like I was crazy.

“Coach she can’t feel her ankle what are we going to do what if she has to get it amputated” She said rambling I looked at her and shook my head along with the coach.

“Let me help you man,” Sean said I nodded as he swung an arm over my shoulder I did the same as Alex and the others popped up beside me.

“Good game you guys” Aly said she kissed Sean before she kissed me on my cheek ruffling my hair as Alex propped his arm on my shoulder helping to the locker room.

“Hey girls get Gabriel for me” I said she was still rambling off about my ankle they laughed and nodded. While they took me to the locker room when we got in there they sat me down in the back where the medical room was the medical staff wasn’t there yet I laid back on the bed waiting for them.

“Ash you did good today” Coach said coming in I nodded

“I hope I get to play in the championships” I mumbled he sighed

“We just have to wait to see what the doctor says” He said I groaned

“I just need a week and I’ll be fine I had worse injuries and I was fine with a few days” I said he nodded

“Whatever he says that’s what you’re going to do” He said I groaned again I worked to hard not to play in the championships.

“Ash there you are I been looking everywhere for the room” Gabriel said coming in the room she ran over to me and sat on the bed next to me looking at my ankle.

“Gabriel calm down it isn’t that bad” I said she didn’t say anything because the doctor came in.

“Alright lets check the ankle then you’re head” he said I nodded and sat up keeping my legs on the bed he went to the end of the bed and took off my shoe slowly I tried not to wince as he pulled it off I hope it isn’t broken please don’t be broken he pulled off the sock and looked at it. My ankle was a dark red color and it was swollen along with my foot. Gabriel grabbed my hand holding it as he poked at it before he turned it to the side.

“What the fuck are you doing” I shouted wincing as he turned it again I felt all the pain shoot up my leg he put my foot back down.

“Well it looked like we have to amputate it” He said seriously Gabriel gasped beside me I started laughing along with the Coach and doctor.

“I’m just playing it isn’t broken just sprained” he said I nodded squeezing Gabriel’s hand as she frowned at the doctor.

“Do you know how long it’s going to take to heal” I asked

“Well from what I can see 2 to 4 weeks you might be able to get away with it for a week as long as you stay off of it” He said going in his bag great now I’ll have to be on crutches for a week but at least I’ll get to play the Championship game.

“Now look at the light and follow it,” He said I did as he told me following it slowly, he lifted his hand and started feeling on my head I cringed when he got to a tender spot.

“How is you’re vision” He asked I shrugged

“Just a little blurry” I said he nodded writing something down before he left out to get something the coach left out to I sighed laying back down.

“See you get to play in the game next week only if you stay off you’re foot” Gabriel said grinning down at me I laughed and lifted my hand to her pulling her face down to me.

“Yup now I get the winning kiss” I said grinning she blushed before I leaned up and kissed her softly she giggled kissing me back.

“Alright here we are” the doctor said interrupting us Gabriel sat up straight blushing as the doctor came in reeling something with him he told me to lay back down as he put part of the machine over me I made a nose while it spun around before it stop he looked at the screen.

“You have an concussion someone is going to have to watch over you tonight and wake you up every so often if you’re vision get worse go to the hospital” He said

“Alright is that all” I asked he nodded and started wrapping my ankle up when he was finished he gave me some crutches and a ice pack before he told me I could go.

“Gabs do I have to go to the party” I asked I didn’t feel like going I just wanted to go to bed.

“I guess you don’t have to” She said as we walked out into the locker room well she walked I hopped on these cursed crutches the team was sitting down on the locker room benches when I hopped in they all turned to me I frowned at them.

“Look here I’m tired off bringing you guys back up everytime we start to loose you can’t depend on me next year because I’m not going to be here, what are you guys going to do at the championships next week” I asked they looked at me not saying anything.

“If you don’t know then I don’t know either I can’t play next week because of my ankle now you guys have to man up, take the damn ball and play seriously” I continued, lying about the ankle part.

“You guys can go celebrate I don’t care what you do but all of you better bring a damn good game next week” I said Gabriel grabbed my bag the team didn’t say anything but look down.

“Bunch of pansy ass players” I mumbled hopping out the locker room with Gabriel beside me.

“That was a little harsh” She said

“I don’t care they’ve been relying on me to much I’m tired” I said the other team was still in the gym I say Stan come over to me I frowned at him.

“What” I asked if I wasn’t on these crutches I would strangle him

“Look I just came over to say sorry I was angry I didn’t mean for you to get hurt” He said I nodded

“Is that all” I asked he nodded I hopped away from him with Gabriel following in tow.

“Gabs you want to spend the night” I asked her when we got outside

“Yeah you cant stay by yourself tonight doctors order” She said grinning at me I laughed then groaned how the hell am I supposed to drive back.

“Gabs you know how to drive a truck” I asked her as Aly came out the building

“No I’m not driving that, we will take my car” She said I groaned

“Aly, give these to Sean and tell him to drop it off at my house” I said when I spotted Aly she nodded.

“What did they say”

“1 week” I said as soon as Gabriel pulled up beside me I opened the door and got in I waved goodbye to Aly as I closed the door.

(Gabriel POV)

I’m so happy that they won the game even though it was a real close call today, my heart had stopped when Ash’s hit the floor I saw her head bounce off of it I had cringed my self almost feeling it too but I’m glad she is okay with only a concussion and sprained ankle. The best part of the game was her getting the scholarship. Right now we were sitting in her family room couch that was at the back of her house they had a decorated Christmas tree in here and a nice little fire place with a T.V on top of it, Ash head was on my lap while I was curled up on the couch with her laying on the couch, she said her family rarely came back unless it was Christmas or something like that .

“Ash have you thought about it,” I asked running my hands through her hair she opened her eyes and sighed.

“Why do you want to call me that” She asked I shrugged

“Because you gave me one so I want to give you one” I said its true its not fair that she gets to give me one and I didn’t get to call her what I wanted.

“Can’t you come up with something else like shay or something,” She said I shook my head no,

“I like Lee it has a ring to it” I said she sighed

“Then I guess I’ll be called Lee” I grinned at her and she gave me a small tired smile I bent my head down and kissed her she kissed me back but kept it sweet I pulled back smiling she lifted up and kissed me lightly again before she went back down and closed her eyes while I sat there watching the fire crackle in front of me I smiled maybe we’ll end up in the same college I looked down at her she was staring at me with her entrancing eyes my breath hitched as I stared at her my heart started to flutter and my stomach dropped to my knees I really do like this girl but how do I tell her I gave her a soft smile still playing with her hair next week is the champions I hope her ankle will be better by then she gave me another longing smile before she went to sleep I stayed up all night waking her up every hour like the doctor said.

(Mystery POV)

“You know in order to get Ash you have to get that Gabriel girl out the picture” She said I nodded agreeing something had to be going on between those two.
