Chapter 18

"Come on Hyung hurry!" I dragged Tae Hyung along with me

"What is your obsession with sunsets!" He was struggling to keep up

"You won't know until you see! I'm telling you this is the best sunset you'll ever see!"

"Okay kook slow some of us aren't physically fit like you!"

I slowed down so he can breathe, waited a couple of minutes until I saw that he had caught his breath and proceeded to drag him again.

"Ahhh I am gonna break up with you! If- I-f ah! If you make me run." I took a big breath of air in to try and catch his breath. "I can't run like this! I already let you force me into lifting!"

"And you look hot! Come on!" I slowed down for his sake even though I couldn't help but be excited

He stopped trying to catch his breath and his mouth fell open as he tried to take in the view. We both stared at the body of water staring back at us, what an unexplainable sight that was. The beautiful sky slowly turning bright orange as the sun was slowly setting into the large body of water. It was a sight I hadn't seen in a long time.

"I told you Busan has the best sunsets hyung!"

"Wow!" his eyes got wider as he staring into the sunset unable to say anything. There was an orange hue slowly appearing on his face now. I noticed how quickly I smile when I look at his face for too long.

I didn't realize how much I loved staring at the side of his face. His fluffy wavy hair that perfectly frames his face as it stops perfectly at the tips of his ears, his jawline sharp and squared, his smile- boxy, perfect - he was like that in all angles. Perfection. At that point I realized I would rather stare at him than anything else, the sunset was beautiful but nothing compared to him.

"So did you come here a lot- Yo- You're doing it again Kooks!" He shyly looked away after he caught me staring at him

I looked ahead quickly trying to ignore the fact that my cheeks burned up every time he said that. I didn't know if it was the embarrassment or the fact that I made him shy.

"What? You were prettier than the sunset! What do you want me to do?" I asked flirting subtly

"Stop being so gay!" He said hitting my arm

"Stop making me!" I said slightly pushing him

We had to be subtle with it all. There were people around, and it was awkward. I wish they weren't there because all I wanted to do at that moment was kiss him. I nudged Tae Hyung to sit on the sand with me. I moved closer to him as if I wanted to say something to him that only he can hear.

"Hyung! I am so happy you decided to come here, you know that right?"

"Only cause you promised you'd come back to my hometown with me!" he smiled

"Of course, I wish I got to meet your grandmother but your parents sounds amazing. I want to see your farm too!"

"It's nothing compared to all you have Kook!"

"Why? Why do you worry about that? I don't care Hyung, you know I don't!"

"I know but I do!" his voice wavered

"Why? I love everything about you, every single thing!" I started, not looking away from him once, "I don't care that your family is poor, I don't care that you guys have a farm, and I sure as hell don't care that you don't have money. I love you!"

"Kook!" he started

"No hyung! I don't think you understand how much I love you!"

"I know! Baby I know!" he stared at me with love in his eyes, it was so clear to me

"Baby?" I asked smiling

"Too soon?"

"No, perfect!" I gleamed

"Okay then! Baby, I know you do but I know you're used to a certain life style and I get upset that I don't have that to give you!"

"But I don't like that life style. I want to make our own life style! why can't we do that?"

"Kook!" he smiled, "I always think it'll be hard but everything is always easy with you!"

"I wanna tell my mom about us hyung!" I couldn't believe it came out of my mouth so suddenly

"What?" he was stunned

"I want to, I really just want her to know to stop trying to find girls for me, I found someone."

"No, I don't know, isn't it too soon?"

"Why?"

"Kook! We can wait till we're done with school. We have a good year left and we can tell them then."

"Why hyung?"

"Cause they're paying for everything right now, so you know if this makes her kick you out or something, I mean we will just do this thing on our own!"

"Wow!" I giggled nervously, "You've thought really far into all of this!"

"I tend to think a lot!" he shrugged, "I can't help it. They're all gonna hate us, makes it feel like we should hide forever to not disappoint them." he got quieter, his voice sadder

"Hyung! It'll work out! They won't hate us forever. I can handle a year of loans!"

"No, I will not let you! Just.. we won't tell anyone for now, okay?"

"Mhm!"

"Don't do that! Don't pout!"

"I am not pouting!"

"Baby, you're pouting."

"Stop that!" a smile took over my pout causing him to giggle

I watched the people there clear out and quickly learned over to kiss his cheeks!

"Kookie!" He whined whipping his head back to see where people were

"They left! Duh!"

"Still!"

"Aren't you the one that always grabs and kisses me when we're alone for like two seconds Hyung?"

"Yeah but I'm just shocked at how daring you are these days!" He said being shy again

"Yeah and I thought I was the shy one, guess a lot is changing!" I nudged him causing him to give me the cutest smile as he moved his head onto my shoulder.

We got back to laughter as the rest of the hyungs were doing something crazy. I opened the door to Hobi Hyung dancing on top of the table. My eyes got wide but I shouldn't be surprised at drunk Hobi Hyung. This is the beginning stage, basically he's not drunk at all. Cause when he's really drunk, you'll see him quietly sleeping on the couch, he turns into Yoongi Hyung.

Yoongi Hyung however turns into crazy loud psycho dude - yelling and laughing, total opposite of his usual demeanor - basically turning into Hobi Hyung.

Joon and Jimin Hyung basically calls everyone bitches, the blabber mouths. They have such different personalities on the norm but when they're drunk they both turn into fuck boys. I don't wanna mention when Joon Hyung mistakenly kissed Jin Hyung thinking he was a girl. We try not to bring it up because one, Jin Hyung is a beautiful man so we see why and two he was a victim of a hate crime and I don't want him to be reminded.

Speaking of Jin hyung, he's the depressed drunk. I can tell he's drunk cause he'll start saying things like 'you know what's sad?' or 'maybe I'll always be alone'.

Tae Hyung! I don't know what kinda drunk he is as he barely sips on alcohol. He's always the one that takes care of the rest of us.

Then there's me. I pass out. Hard! My body can't handle much alcohol but I'm trying to build an intolerance to it, even though Tae Hyung tells me to stop as he's not strong enough to carry me. I blabber on too much too, I never know what I even say.

"Hobi Hyung! We starting already?" Tae hyung asked stepping in behind me closing the door

"You guys let's play a drinking game!" Hobi Hyung said still dancing

"Can we not?" Tae hyung asked a bit concerned, "Can we talk?"

"What's there to talk about? We talk all day long let's have some fun!" Joon Hyung said

"I don't know, I'm not in the mood to hear you call me a bitch all night Hyung!" Tae hyung said complaining to Joon Hyung now

"I would never call you that Tae!" he was acting so innocent. Maybe he really does black out when he's drunk or maybe that's his excuse to finally act immature?

"Beer pong?" I asked

"You only know beer pong I'm convinced of that!" Jin Hyung yelled from his bed room, "I got instant ramen and tteokbokki though, so we can talk and eat!" He said with two plastic bags in hand, filled with goodies

"Okay so it's called never have I ever! For example if I say never have I ever made out with a guy, the five here that have will have to take the shot!"

"Five?" Hobi Hyung asked counting on his finger

I rolled my eyes at what was happening!

"Yes, Yoongi Hyung, Tae, Kook and we can't forget Joon Hyung who kissed Jin hyung!"

"When did I kiss Jin hyung?" He asked defensively

"I am sorry did you forget how you made out with him? We had to pull you off him hyung!" Jimin Hyung said in a sassy manner making the rest of the group giggle at the memory

"I don't remember this so I don't have to take a shot!"

"I almost killed you ass face! It definitely happened! He stuck his tongue down me! I don't know how I stayed friends with your ass!" Poor Jin Hyung. I was trying not to laugh at him but that was hard to do.

"So if I said never have I ever dyed my hair blonde Jimin would have to take the shot?" Taehyung asked

"Yes, right! But you can't direct a question at someone like that! I am the only blonde one here! Let play fair huh?" Jimin Hyung was getting a little defensive, which meant he was scared that Tae Hyung would in fact direct all his questions at him - very Tae thing to do.

"Okay okay! I'll start!" Yoongi Hyung said, "never have I ever questioned my sexuality!"

I took a shot, along with Yoongi Hyung and Tae Hyung! Yoongi Hyung glared at the rest of the crew, "I better see the rest of you take this shot! All of you are a bit gay!"

Jimin Hyung took the shot smiling as everyone eyes immediately went to him.

"Hyung? Really?" I asked

"I mean sure! Men are attractive!"

"Damn, we gonna learn a lot about each other in this game!" Hobi Hyung declared taking the shot along with Jimin Hyung earning a smile from all of us that took the shot. I guess it made sense the lawyer dudes were the straight ones, I mean I won't bring up when they made out with each other again.

It was the 50th question or so it felt like it and I could feel my head tighten up and my eyes droop. I am gonna pass out any second.

"Okay I have one!" Hobi Hyung started, "never have I stared at my naked body in the mirror!"

Jimin Hyung and I stared at each other and started to laugh, my laugh coming out in a sleepy way.

"You both better take the dang shot! I have sadly caught both of them do this!" Hobi Hyung said shaking his head

"I just learned from Jimin Hyung!" I said innocently causing Jimin Hyung to slap me on my arm as he laughed with his head falling back

Tae Hyung shook his head smiling at me. I took the shot, throat burning. I could almost feel the alcohol coming back up as I gagged.

"Okay that's enough of this game!" Tae hyung declared getting up from his seat and walking over to grab me. It all started getting fuzzy by then.

I don't remember much other than Tae hyung forcing me to lay down in bed and me convincing him I am not drunk.

"Give me a kiss!" I would sleepily yell randomly

"Baby you gotta be quiet!"

"Call me that again!" I yelled as I felt him warm hands close in on me, pulling me into a tight embrace as I felt him giggle, placing kisses on top of my head until I eventually passed out

"Son, mix it really well!" Mom took the spoon from me doing it herself. I don't know why I ever try helping her when she's going to do it all anyways

The hyungs were still sleeping. I somehow managed to get up earlier than them and came over to see what mom was up to. She was cooking and I decided to be an idiot and jump in - forgetting that she had a hard time letting anyone do anything in the kitchen.

"Mom I know how to stir, I do it all the time for Jin Hyung!"

"Well Jin Hyung won't be there anymore you need to start cooking for yourself!"

"Mom you don't even cook for yourself anymore!"

"Well I told you we'll get you a house over there and have people there to cook for you..."

"Mom! I told you I don't need all that!"

"It's like your ashamed! Most kids with parents that have money would wanna show off. You're being too much Kook! You don't even drive your car much over there, why did I buy you that?"

"I drove it to come here didn't I?" I rolled my eyes mixing the soup in front of me with no interest now

"Oh!" Moms eyes lit up, "before I forget look!" She was opening something on her phone. "Look at this girl! So cute right?"

"Mom! You're showing me pictures now?" I wasn't interested so I didn't even need to look

"Why don't you look? Her dad's one of Dads clients! It'll be so nice if you both got to talking don't you think? They have a good family!" She was trying to shove the phone in my face again

"Mom please! I am not interested!" I dodged the phone that was placed right in front of me

"Son, how can you not even look?" She asked looking sad

"Fine let me see!" I took the phone from her. I saw a small figured girl with a pale face and soft wavy hair staring back at me. She was dressed in a soft white dress, looking as girly as ever.

"She said she thought you were good looking too! What do you think about her? Just meet her once Kook!"

"Mom I'm not into all of that!"

"Is this girl not your type? You don't like the pretty girls? Are you into the sexy girls?"

"Mom please!" I whined "I am not into any girls at this moment in time, mom!"

"Why are you not into girls? What are you into then? Guys?" She asked slamming her phone down on the countertop

I stopped mixing, and I started into the hot bowl of soup that hasn't yet boiled yet

"Jungkook!" She sounded more mad, not this early in the morning

"It wouldn't be the worst thing!" I mumbled

"Do what?" She asked

"I SAID!" I accidentally yelled, my voice had no control at the moment, "that it wouldn't be the worst thing if I were into guys!"

"Jungkook!" her shocked face turned into disappointment as I saw her eyes glisten, "don't talk back to me like that ever again!"

"Mom I didn't talk back! I just stated a simple fact!" I couldn't control my mouth, all I wanted to do at that moment was to stop talking but my brain and mouth had no correlation

"Simple fact Jungkook? What are you telling me?"

"Mom! I study well! I don't do drugs or party, I am a good kid, always have been. Haven't I always listened to you? I'm staying in school for you! Can't you just let me be myself for once?" Stop talking Jungkook, shut your big mouth Jungkook!

"What are you saying jungkook! I always let you be yourself! Stop talking like this!" I saw my mom slowly hyperventilating, her breathing getting heavier now

"Mom, it's nothing. I'm fine." I said worried I had gone too far. I started to walk away from her, "I'll wake the hyungs up."

"Jungkook tell me! Are you telling me what I think you're telling me?" She stopped me mid step, "Are you telling me you don't like women because - be- because you like men?" She looked disgusted

"I don't know mom! Will you still look at me with that disgusted look on your face if I did?"

"Jungkook!" She objected

"No! I saw your face. Told me everything I needed to know mom!"

"Jung- " she started to catch her breath

"Mom it's nothing please! It's fine!" I was worried for her now, "I didn't mean it. I just want a break from being forced into talking to girls that's all."

"Jungkook! Tell me the truth!" She said again calming down

I stared at her blankly, "Mom I don't think I need to tell you something you already know."

"No!" She let out a cry now, not stopping

Not knowing that to do next I walked away, I walked out as I heard her tears. I should have kept quiet. I shouldn't have said anything at all. The thing that makes me myself disappoints her. It'll disappoint everyone, Tae hyung was right about that.
