Chapter 774
Meet My Brothers
Luna paused, feeling somewhat awkward. âI was just concerned about you being alone in the hospital
without anyone to take care of you.
âSince you didnât want me to come, I thought maybe you would prefer Aunt Sharonâs help. I only
wanted to ensure your wellâbeing.â
âIâve mentioned this before. Your concern should only be for Asher, not me. Please donât waste your
energy on me,â Timothy reiterated firmly.
Luna felt embarrassed by Timothyâs straightforward response. âTim, youâve misunderstood. I simply
didnât want you to be alone without someone looking after you.
âIf you hadnât brought up these things to my mom, she wouldnât have come to the hospital and gotten
injured in the first place,â Timothy snapped at her.
âBut Aunt Sharon got hurt because of Ms. Monalize,â Luna blurted out.
Feeling a pang of guilt, she struggled to elaborate further. âI⦠I just happened to witness it by chance,
thatâs how I knew.
âThen tell me, why did my mom come to the hospital and not search for me, but instead. went
downstairs to find someone else? What exactly did you say to her?â Timothy retorted. coldly, seeing
through Lunaâs scheme in an instant.
Just then, the doctor emerged from the emergency room. âWhere are the patientâs family
members?â
Timothy stepped forward. âHow is my momâs condition?â
âThe patient fainted due to emotional distress, putting her at risk of a stroke. Fortunately, she was
brought in just in time. Itâs important to avoid upsetting her to prevent another episode,â the doctor
explained.
Timothyâs expression hardened. âI understand.â
Shortly after, the unconscious Sharon was wheeled out, with Timothy accompanying her to the hospital
room.
It didnât take long for Sharon to regain consciousness. Spotting Timothy by her side, she exclaimed
excitedly, âTim!â
âIâm here, Mom.â
As he approached Sharon, Timothy gently took her hand, offering comfort. âThe doctor said youâre
okay, but you need to rest.â
Observing the situation, Luna quickly stepped in, saying, âAunt Sharon, you canât imagine how worried
Tim has been. Heâs been waiting outside the operating room for you.â
Sharonâs expression softened with relief, but then she noticed Timothy, also dressed in a patient gown.
Suddenly, a memory dawned on her. âTim, why are you in the hospital?â
Timothy responded calmly, âItâs just a minor issue.â
âAre you still trying to deceive me? You obviously intend to donate your bone marrow to that womanâs
child. Itâs incredibly risky. Do you want me to be consumed with worry?â Timothyâs expression
darkened. âMom, I explicitly instructed Luna not to tell you about this.
âBut Luna only told me because she was worried about you,â Sharon said.
Lunaâs complexion paled. âTim, please listen to me, I-
âEnough! Your opinion doesnât matter here,â Timothy snapped.
He didnât even acknowledge Lunaâs presence. Instead, he turned to Sharon and insisted, â Mom,
donating bone marrow isnât as risky as you think. Itâs similar to donating blood.â
âYouâre lying! Donating bone marrow canât be compared to giving blood. I have no idea how bone
marrow is even extracted. If something were to happen to you, how would I cope? Remember, the
entire Barrett family depends on you!â
Sharonâs emotions were running high, but Timothy remained composed. He retrieved his phone and
said, âMom, hereâs an article explaining how bone marrow donation is done.
Please read it first.â
Although she was skeptical, Sharon relented and took the phone.

However, Luna remained defiant. She was well aware that donating bone marrow involved. donating
hematopoietic stem cells, yet she intentionally misled Sharon.
As Luna was on the verge of speaking up, Timothy sternly instructed, âYou, come with me.â
Despite her reluctance to leave, Luna was forcibly escorted out of the hospital room.
With a chilling glare, Timothy declared, âEffective immediately, youâre moving out of the Barrett
residence. Leave Asher with my mother.â
