Chapter 775
Meet My Brothers
Upon hearing Timothyâs words, Lunaâs face drained of color. âTim, Asher canât be separated from me!â
âFine, take Asher and leave. Donât ever return to the Barrett family. Iâll provide you with enough money
to live comfortably for the rest of your lives. Thatâs it,â Timothyâs voice was firm, showing no willingness
to negotiate.
Luna was frantic. âTim, please reconsider. This is my fault. I shouldnât have meddled. I will apologize to
Ms. Monalize and even beg for her forgiveness on my knees. Please, donât make us leave.â
Luna felt torn about taking Asher away.
Leaving the Barrett family would mean losing her status, and having gained nothing in the
end.
Given the considerable effort and time she invested in becoming a part of the Barrett family, why would
she agree to leave with Asher?
She couldnât understand how Timothy could be so harsh as to kick her and Asher out of the Barrett
family over a mere standâin.
âItâs too late. Iâve offered you numerous opportunities, all of which youâve squandered. You can leave on
your own, or take Asher and go. The decision is yours!â
With those words, Timothy turned to Heath. âGet her out of the hospital immediately.â
âTim, this isnât fair! Aunt Sharon, she⦠hmph!â
Lunaâs words were abruptly silenced as the bodyguard covered her mouth, and she was escorted out
of the hospital without any opportunity to resist.
With that resolved, Timothy entered the hospital room. Addressing Sharon, he said, âMom, please
focus on resting well here.â
âTim, must you go through with the bone marrow donation? While it might not be as daunting as it
sounds, the process isnât simple, and itâll be difficult for you.
âHow about we expand the search for more matches? After all, our family can offer financial support.
What do you think?â Sharon tried negotiating with him.
Timothy responded calmly, âIâve already committed to being a donor, and Iâve been on
medication since last night. Itâs too late to change course now; everything necessary has been
completed.â
Sharonâs eyes blazed with anger. She couldnât hold in her fury anymore and blurted, âWhy do
you cherish that woman and her baggage so much?â
She couldnât understand why Timothy treated a mere substitute with such regard!
Timothy frowned. âGinger isnât baggage. Sheâs my daughter.â
âI really wonder what kind of spell that woman cast on you!â Sharon exclaimed.
Why was Timothy so determined to be with Monalize and treat her child as his own? Luckily, itâs just a
daughter and not a son. Otherwise, what would happen to Asher in the future?
âMom, perhaps you should get some rest now.â
Timothy chose not to elaborate further. He turned and exited the hospital room, making his way
downstairs.
Sharonâs frustration was palpable as she watched Timothy walk away, feeling utterly helpless. She
knew she couldnât change his mind. After all, Timothy was resolute in his decision to donate his bone
marrow.
As Timothy descended the stairs, he spotted Mia outside, engaged in a serious conversation with
Peyton.
Her typically carefree demeanor had been replaced with a focused and authoritative air.
Approaching them, Timothy overheard Miaâs stern words. âI donât want excuses, I only want results. Iâve
invested a lot of money in hiring him to handle this matter.
âIf he canât resolve it, then heâs not fit for this role. Give him one more week, and if thereâs no
improvement, he can leave,â Mia stated, her irritation evident.
However, upon noticing Timothy approaching, Mia swiftly adjusted her expression. âMr. Barrett, how
are you feeling? Iâve heard there might be side effects from the injections.â
Timothy responded calmly, âIâm doing fine.â

After a brief pause, Mia glanced at him and asked, âHowâs your mother holding up?â
âItâs nothing serious, she just needs a few days to rest.â
To Miaâs surprise, Timothy didnât delve into further details, nor did he bring up Sharonâs fall. Mia
regarded him suspiciously and asked, âWhy arenât you questioning me about her fall?â
âThereâs no need for me to ask,â Timothy said calmly.
âArenât you even a bit suspicious of me? Hasnât Ms. Maynard complained to you, claiming that I upset
your mother or perhaps even pushed her?â
After all, such scenarios were frequently portrayed in TV dramas, and they were also tactics commonly
used by cunning individuals in real life.
Following a brief pause, Timothy remarked, âI donât believe you would do something like that.â
