Chapter 111

At the thought that something might have happened to Caroline, Alice didn’t dawdle and rushed toward

Ethan’s car. Then, she opened the door, wanting to get inside.

Since she had already told Keith about her marriage with Ethan back inside the Woland Residence,

she thought there was no need to hide it from Keith.

Keith wanted to stop Alice, but it was her choice to get inside Ethan’s car, so he didn’t have the right to

stop her. However, he couldn’t stand seeing Ethan as overbearing, egotistical, and also arrogant.

That was why he suddenly shouted when Alice was about to enter the car, “Alice, remember our

promise. I’ll wait for you.”

When Keith said that, Ethan narrowed his cold eyes, and a sneer slowly appeared on his lips.

Alice glanced at Keith, thinking, This guy’s not afraid to stir up trouble. When did we make a promise?

Wait for me? Why would he be waiting for me? What’s wrong with him? Why is he saying such

Back inside the car, Ethan’s gaze had chilled down even more. I’m right here, and she’s still making

eyes at Keith? Also, did Keith say he’s going to wait for her? What does that mean? Wait for her to get

divorced and then marry her? Dream on!

Meanwhile, Caleb was terrified because Ethan looked very frightening at this moment.

Luckily, Alice didn’t respond to Keith’s words and got in the car.

“Get out.” Right after Alice got in and sat down, she heard Ethan ordering in an emotionless voice.

Alice froze. She had just gotten in, but he ordered her to leave. Didn’t he stop the car here so that she

could get in?

Ethan narrowed his eyes and suddenly reached over to grab her.

He saw Alice get in and Caleb get out, followed by all the windows closing. Since the window panels

“Ethan, what are you doing? Come at me if you have any grudges. Why are you making things difficult

for a woman?” By now, Keith was really worried about Alice.

when doing things.

Ethan’s words were clearly directed at Alice, but he wasn’t looking at her or out the window at Keith.

here to ask for your hand in marriage?”

he asking me?

“Did you enjoy your conversation with him? Huh?” Ethan’s eyes were still fixed on her, and his lips were

slightly curved. But his voice was still deep and slow as he sat there like a stone and didn’t approach

Alice.
