36. Stuck Again!

Author's POV

Noah was walking ahead and Julie was sulking while following him.

"Why this man always have to kidnap me? I want to play games."

She saw him not looking behind and tried to run away.

Noah was quick to grab the back of her neck and pull her back.

"Don't use your oversmartness in front of me, kiddo..."

He threw his arm on her shoulder and led her away.

She whined when he stuffed her in the car.

"What's wrong with you, what do you want?"

Noah rolled his eyes annoyed and warned her.

"Keep your green mouth shut or else you will be punished."

Arabella on other hand looked at Knight brothers.

"What are you doing here?"

"Nothing, We just wanted to see the carnival. What a surprise, you are here too."

Oliver hugged and kissed her cheek making her face go red.

"Chief knew about it."

She cleared her throat.

"Yes, don't know about him but I came here just to see you."

He kissed her another cheek and now her face was fire.

Oliver glared at Arthur mouthing.

'It's my day'

Arthur just shrugged with smirk.

"What were you doing?"

Arthur asked.

"Nothing, I am just looking for Julie... She was here when I went to washroom."

She looked around for her.

"She is a big girl. She can find her own way."

Oliver suggested.

"Why don't you go for a ride until she comes back?"

"No"

She shook her head.

"She is a walking definition of problem when she is left alone and we came here together. How can I enjoy without her?"

On the other hand, Julie played the loud music in the car she was caged in. Noah covered his ears frustrated.

"Are you fucking stupid? Turn it off!"

He pressed the button and music stopped.

"Then what do you want me to do? You ruined my day..."

She whined and threw tantrums like a child.

"I want to play games."

"Shut up!"

He scolded her.

"Stupid kid!"

She glared at him and suddenly spotted Arabella who was looking for her.

"Arabella, Hey!"

Noah quickly clasped her mouth.

"Shut up, you really want to die or what?"

Julie saw Knight brothers with Arabella and gasped. She removed Noah's hand from her mouth.

"You kidnapped me so your two bosses can spend time with my friend?"

She looked at him in disbelief.

Noah looked at her amused, he wasn't expecting her to break the code.

"Don't blabber rubbish."

"I know, I know... I am not a fool..."

She squealed.

Noah grabbed his gun and placed on her temple.

"I said, keep quiet."

He threatened.

"Uncle, you didn't unlock your gun. I know because they do this in movies."

She grinned mockingly.

Noah groaned frustrated and pulled his hair.

"What will you take to keep your mouth shut? Listen, I don't like kids and don't call me fucking uncle."

She was evilly enjoying his annoyance. She now knows that he is not going to hurt her.

"I'll keep quiet if you play shooting game for me. They have green bear as a price, I want that."

He scowled.

"There is nothing like green bear."

"There is! There is! I can see from here... Looks at the soft toy they have hung there. I want that, uncle..."

She knows that he is young to be called uncle but she had nothing else to annoy him and it's her revenge for calling her kid.

"Will you stop calling me uncle after that?"

He questioned and she nodded with naughty grin.

"Okay, come!"

"Yes!"

She quickly jumped out of the car and followed him.

"Is that Julie and Noah?"

Arabella asked surprised when she saw them near the stall.

"See, your friend is enjoying without you and here you are looking for her."

Oliver chuckled.

"What the hell is Noah doing?"

Arthur frowned.

"Julie?"

Arabella approached her.

"Shh, he is focusing on the target."

She said while Noah shot the bear.

Arabella and Julie slapped their heads when he did that.

Men looked at them confused.

"What? I hit the bear. That's what she wanted."

Noah shrugged.

Julie whined and banged her head on Arabella's shoulder.

"Please tell this man... I'll going to hung myself in place of that bear."

"Noah, you have to hit the target below that bear..."

Arabella explained him.

"Ohh!"

He laughed.

"My bad!"

He purchased another coupon and this time hit the target. Julie jumped excitedly when she got the green bear.

"Yes!"

Arabella smiled at her happiness.

"Thanks, Noah. For taking care of my friend."

He smiled awkwardly.

"My pleasure!"

"Which one you want, Kitten?"

She looked at Oliver when he asked that.

"You can get two, it seems!"

Arthur smirked.

"They can only win one each. Choose wisely."

Julie encouraged her.

"After winning once, they can't play again."

Arabella looked at the soft toys.

"I can't decide. Help?"

Julie pointed at huge kung fu panda.

"That one. And that Charizard. Oh my god, it's so fluffy."

"Yeah, it's cute."

Arabella smiled excitedly.

"But the targets costs more than other and it's difficult to hit them... They are tricking us. Waste of money!"

She shook her head.

"Let it be!"

"Are you sure?"

Julie teased.

"Because they have already grabbed their guns."

Arabella saw Knights and gasped.

"Oh my god!"

"This gun looks tampered, can I use mine instead?"

Arthur suggested to shopkeeper.

Man's eyes widened when he saw real gun.

"Chief!"

Arabella grabbed on his shoulder in panic.

"You are scaring him."

Arthur chuckled and placed his gun back.

"Just kidding, Dove."

Oliver rolled his eyes and hit his target.

"Done and dusted. Fabrication of gun is just a reason to cover failure."

He handed the panda to Arabella.

She looked at Arthur, nervous that they will start an argument here.

"Thank you!"

She handed the panda to Julie.

Arthur just scowled at his brother and hit the target, winning another soft toy.

"Yes! Jenny will be so jealous."

Julie jumped excited while grabbing all three toys.

Arabella smiled before grabbing a water bottle to drink water.

"Uncle, can you keep these in your car?"

Julie asked Noah to keep soft toys in his car because they were big. Arabella choked on her water when she called uncle to Noah.

Noah snatched the bear from her hand and Julie screamed when he tried to tear it.

"Stop!"

"Will you call me uncle again?"

He asked madly.

"No, I am sorry!"

She snatched back her toy.

"Sorry, sorry!"

"God! You two are so problematic."

Arabella shook her head amused.

"What's next?"

Arthur asked.

"I also want to play shooting game."

Arabella looked at the game curiously.

"It looks fun."

"But you don't know how to use gun. You will waste money."

Julie suggested.

"Don't worry about it."

Oliver replied, buying another coupon.

"I'll help her!"

Both brothers said in unison and she got alert when they glared at each other.

Now they will fight for it. She was again stuck between them.
