Chapter 28

A few days have passed since the news came out and ImTech's stock prices keep dropping. Of course Y/N took advantage of that and spoke to some of the shareholders. She managed to buy some of them and now she has more shares in ImTech, but it's still not much. However ImTech did release a statement today saying that they are going to sell some of their shares, which of course Y/N is planning on buying all.

Y/N couldn't visit Nayeon in these past few days because she's being followed around by Mr. Im's men. If she goes to visit Nayeon, then they'll know where she is. So Y/N had to come up with a plan to get rid of those men that keep following her around, which was of course successful. She made Tzuyu dress up like her and gave her car to her so that it would look like she's Y/N. Those men believed it and started following Tzuyu instead.

"Where the hell have you been? You said you were going to come visit me!" Nayeon said when Y/N finally came.

"I know, I'm sorry. Your dad's men keep following me around."

"Did you get rid of them?"

"Yes, I did or else I wouldn't be here, would I? By the way I brought food." Y/N put some food on the table.

"When can I go back home? I'm crazy bored here."

"Soon, Nayeon-ah. Just give me a couple of days." Y/N pleaded.

"What's your plan Chou Y/N? I read that you bought some of our shares. What the hell are you going to do?" Nayeon approached her and that was when Y/N told her the plan.

"You know this is very dangerous right? The chance of this plan succeeding is really low." Nayeon sighed. "And tell me why would I want to be the CEO of a company that won't be even ours anymore. You'll basically be the largest shareholder."

"I'll give you some of my shares once you're the CEO. I already told you that I don't want ImTech, I just don't want Jin to get that position." Y/N lied.

"Why do you hate him so much? What did he do to you?"

"Let's just say he hurt some people that I care about." Y/N stated. Nayeon didn't ask any further because she knows Y/N won't tell her anyways.

"I'm worried, Y/N. We put ourselves in some huge danger." Nayeon said weakly.

"Hey, look at me." Y/N lifted Nayeon's chin up. "We'll get through this. The both of us. As long as we stick together, this can't go wrong."

"It can, Y/N, it can. My dad and brother they're no joke. They'll hurt both of us."

"They can't. I won't let them. I'll protect you and myself till the very end." The CEO assured.

"They're looking for me right?" Nayeon questioned.

"Yes, everywhere but don't worry they can't find you. Now how about we eat? I brought ramen." Nayeon's eyes lit up hearing that. She is really hungry.

"Do you want to go to the beach?" Y/N asked once they finished eating.

"Really? I thought you told me not to go outside." Nayeon tried to go outside a few times, but Y/N's driver stopped her every time saying that it's dangerous.

"You can when you're with me. Besides no one is around here anyways, it's literally just us. So do you want to go?"

"Of course. I'm crazy bored in this house." Nayeon sighed.

"Alright then let's go. I think if we leave now, we'll make it on time to watch the sunset." Y/N informed and with that the two went to the beach.

"Let's sit here." Y/N said as she sat on a hill that had an amazing view over the beach and the sunset.

"Wow, it's beautiful." Nayeon stated as she sat down next to Y/N.

"I used to come here a lot as a kid. It was my favorite thing to do. Just sit here and watch the sunset while hearing the sound of the waves."

"You don't come here anymore?" Nayeon asked.

"We still do from time to time but not as much as before. We used to come here every weekend. We always took Chaeyoung and Jihyo with us. Sometimes their parents would join us as well. The four of us would be running around the beach and playing with water while our parents watched us play. Sometimes they even joined us, which was really funny." Y/N remembered and smiled upon the memories.

"It sounds like you had a nice childhood."

"Yeah, I did." She did until everything went downhill when her father started doing business.

"I never had that. Every time I wanted to go play at the playground, my dad would yell at me. My childhood just consisted of yelling, screaming and hitting. I never had fun as a child. I never got to experience what it was like to have fun." Nayeon looked down and Y/N felt bad hearing that. She was lucky enough to have such an amazing family but Nayeon wasn't.

"C'mon, stand up." Y/N suddenly stood up and offered her hand to Nayeon.

"Where are we going?"

"Just come." Y/N said and offered her hand once again which Nayeon accepted. Y/N started running out of nowhere and Nayeon had no choice but to run as well since Y/N was still holding her hand.

"Yah! Y/N! Slow down!"

"C'mon, you're so slow!" Y/N laughed still running until they finally reached the water.

"Take out your shoes." Y/N demanded.

"No way, the water is probably crazy cold."

"C'mon don't be so boring and just take them off." Y/N said as she took hers off and went into the water.

"You just play yourself, no way I'm going in." Nayeon shook her head multiple times.

"You asked for this, Im Nayeon." Y/N suddenly lifted Nayeon up bridal style.

"Yah! Put me down!" Nayeon started to hit Y/N's chest but Y/N just laughed it off and went into the water.

"Now I'll let you down." Y/N said and put Nayeon down in the water.

"I'm going to kill you." Nayeon said in a scary tone and started to splash Y/N with water.

"That's how we're going to play, huh?" Y/N smirked and also splashed some water on Nayeon.

"Yah stop it! My clothes!"

"They're not yours anyways, they're mine so shut up and just have fun for once." Since Nayeon came here without her luggage she had to wear Y/N and Tzuyu's clothes for the past few days.

"I'm really going to kill you." Nayeon started to go after Y/N while Y/N ran away.

"Yah, come here!" Nayeon yelled but Y/N went deeper into the water and so did Nayeon. Y/N finally stopped going further and Nayeon managed to catch up. The two continued to splash each other and they were having fun. Nayeon kept smiling, which made Y/N happy to see. She wants to give her the experience of what it's like to have fun at the beach since Nayeon never had any of that. Y/N is proud that she actually managed to make Nayeon have fun.

"It's getting dark. We should leave." Y/N said after their fun time.

"Oh yeah, but not before I do this." Nayeon splashed some water on Y/N again and started to run away. Luckily Y/N is a fast runner so she caught up to her and lifted her up.

"You're going to pay for that." Y/N said in a deep voice which Nayeon found very hot.

"Hmm what are you going to do?" Nayeon asked in a seductive voice as her face got closer to Y/N's. Their faces are very close to each other right now.

"This." Y/N looked at Nayeon's lips and approached her. Just when she was about to put her lips onto hers, she let go and ran away laughing. She likes to tease Nayeon because her reaction is always funny to her.

"You're dead, Chou Y/N." Nayeon said and went after her. How dare she to tease her like that? Luckily the two managed to leave the beach and went back to the house.

"I'm all wet aish." Nayeon said in frustration as they went inside.

"Get changed and shower then." Y/N suggested and that's what they both did.

"Why did it take you so long? You just had to take a quick shower aish." Y/N said in frustration when Nayeon finally showed up in the living room.

"First of all, I couldn't find any clothes that fit me and second of all you ruined my shoes so I had to look for one of yours."

"You look good in my clothes." Y/N loves the look.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm so tired." Nayeon stated as she threw herself on the couch next to Y/N.

"Y/N..."

"Hmm?"

"I had fun today, thank you." Nayeon hasn't had this much fun in a while.

"It would've been even more fun if you didn't keep complaining." Y/N chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not used to things like these." Nayeon rested her head on Y/N's shoulder and Y/N could hear her own heart beating faster.

"It's okay, I know you're not."

"I didn't expect you to be this fun though. You look all serious and intimidating, but deep down you're a little kid." Nayeon stated. She saw a new side of Y/N today and it makes her like her even more.

"I only show this side of me to people that I like."

"And you obviously very much like me." Nayeon smirked as she lifted her head up and faced Y/N.

"You like me more, so shut up."

"I do." Nayeon suddenly grabbed Y/N's hand and put it on the place where her heart is located.

"Do you feel how fast it's beating? It's always like this when you're around me." It was beating crazily and just by feeling it, Y/N's heart made a turn as well.

"It's not just your heart, that's doing it." Y/N grabbed Nayeon's hand and also put it over her heart. "I'm never nervous around people, but you make me nervous Nayeon-ssi." Y/N admitted.

"Is that a good thing?"

"I'm not sure." Y/N admitted. At this point Y/N knows that it's not an act anymore. Something which started out as an act, is turning out to be reality.

"Aren't you going home? It's getting late." Nayeon asked as her hand left Y/N's chest.

"I was thinking of staying here, if that's okay for you."

"Yeah, I'm lonely here anyways." Nayeon nodded.

"Your heart was really beating fast though." Nayeon suddenly laughed.

"Yah, don't tease me." Y/N warned and Nayeon buried her face onto Y/N's chest. Y/N was taken aback at first but eventually put her arm around Nayeon and pulled her closer.

"You smell freaking good." Nayeon stated.

"I know I do."

"You're quite narcissistic aren't you?" Nayeon asked facing Y/N.

"As if you aren't." Y/N chuckled. "You love yourself more than anything."

"I figured that no one will love me so what better idea then just to love myself."

"Who said that no one will love you?" Y/N furrowed her eyebrows. She hates that Nayeon thinks like that about herself.

"No one even likes me let alone love me." Nayeon laughed but deep down she isn't laughing. She's hurting.

"Don't you ever say that again. I like you and I'm sure there are other people that like you as well. Just because you have a shitty family that doesn't know how to treat their children, doesn't mean that you're not worthy of love." Y/N cupped Nayeon's face as she looked deeply into her eyes. Y/N could see that Nayeon's eyes are getting teary.

"No one has told me that before." Nayeon said weakly.

"It's the truth. Just like everyone, you are worthy of love as well." Y/N caressed Nayeon's cheek and put her lips onto Nayeon's, kissing her very slowly. This might be the slowest kiss that they've ever had, because it was an emotional one. Both could feel the invisible fireworks going off around them.

"Thank you, Y/N." Nayeon said when she pulled away. Y/N always knows how to make Nayeon feel better just by saying some words. Y/N smiled and crashed her lips onto Nayeon's once again. This time the kiss was full of heat, nothing like the slow one they shared before. Nayeon put her arms around Y/N's neck while Y/N wrapped hers around Nayeon's waist. The kiss deepened and eventually turned into making out. They made out for some time when they finally decided to go to sleep.

"You just take my room again, I'll sleep int the guest room." Y/N said and was about to walk away but Nayeon stopped her holding her arm.

"Sleep with me."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." Nayeon said with 100% certainty. Y/N just nodded and the two of them went to bed. Nayeon fell asleep pretty fast since she was tired from playing at the beach. Y/N really used up all of her energy by making her run all the time. Y/N on the other hand,  can't sleep because the fact that she's starting to fall for Nayeon is bothering her. She thought about how Jihyo warned her about this. Jihyo told her how an act could turn into reality but Y/N didn't think it was possible because she didn't like Nayeon's attitude at all. In her eyes she was some spoiled brat, just like how everyone describes her to be.

Little did she know that Nayeon is nothing like what she's portraying to be. Y/N sighed deeply and looked at the sleeping Nayeon next to her. She took a close look at her face and Nayeon is definitely the prettiest woman that she has ever seen. She always thought that Nayeon was pretty but her attitude ruined it for Y/N. Now seeing the real Nayeon, everything about her just makes her attractive to Y/N.

Y/N smiled weakly and kissed Nayeon's forehead as she caressed the sleeping woman's hair.

"I like you too." Y/N whispered but this time she didn't lie like she did the other day when Nayeon confessed to her. This time she was being serious. However she still can't accept the fact that she likes the daughter of her biggest enemy.

"What am I going to do now huh? This wasn't in my plan." Y/N sighed. She doesn't want to be emotionally attached to Nayeon, but it's kind of too late now. She can't stop herself from doing that anymore.
