Chapter 33

Y/N went to her room to see what Nayeon is doing and there she saw Nayeon sleeping peacefully. The woman is going through a lot right now and Y/N feels bad for her. That asshole father of hers really threw Nayeon out like that. Luckily Y/N won't allow Nayeon to end up on the streets.

Y/N does have a plan on how to take away Mr. Im's position, but it includes his affair with Mrs. Minatozaki. Y/N wants to reveal those pictures in order to create a bad image about him and her plan was to do it today but after what happened with Nayeon, she couldn't bring herself to do it without telling Nayeon first.

Nayeon might not like her dad, but she definitely cares about her mother, so finding out that that man is cheating on her, will make Nayeon mad for sure. Y/N has been thinking about what to do. She needs to reveal it in order to bring him down. She has no plan B, but she knows that Nayeon won't agree with this plan since she still cares about her family despite them treating her like shit.

She could do it without telling Nayeon, but then Nayeon would be very angry with her. So the only thing she can do right now is to convince her to reveal those pictures herself. Y/N doesn't know how to tell this to Nayeon so she grabbed the pictures from her safe and put it on her desk in the hope that Nayeon will see them in the morning.

After putting the pictures on her desk she went beside Nayeon and caressed her hair. She looks absolutely beautiful which made Y/N smile to herself. Nayeon is so vulnerable and hurt right now, that Y/N wants to protect her at all costs.

"Y/N?" Nayeon mumbled when she felt a presence next to her.

"Don't mind me, continue to sleep."

"Can you join me?" Nayeon pleaded to which Y/N nodded and laid beside her. The moment Y/N laid on bed, Nayeon snuggled closer to her.

"Are you okay?" Y/N questioned.

"Yeah, as long as you're with me, I'll be okay."

"I will always be with you." Y/N kissed Nayeon's forehead. That is if Nayeon still wants Y/N beside her after she finds out that Y/N wants to destroy ImTech.

"Y/N..."

"Hmm?" Y/N looked into Nayeon's eyes.

"I love you." Nayeon stated and Y/N raised her eyebrows. Is Nayeon still sleeping? Did she say it by accident? Y/N already knows that Nayeon loves her, but she never expected for Nayeon to tell her.

"You don't have to say it back. I just wanted to let you know." Nayeon added after Y/N kept silent for a while.

"I love you too, Nayeon-ah." Y/N smiled weakly.

"You do?"

"Hell yeah, I do." Y/N chuckled. Y/N might have never fallen in love before, but she knows her feelings towards Nayeon and all the signs point to her being in love with Nayeon.

"You're not just saying that to please me right?" Nayeon is doubting Y/N's words.

"No. I love you. You better accept that." Y/N cupped Nayeon's face and kissed her lips. Nayeon's heart is racing right now. She didn't mean to say I love you but she said it anyways. She didn't think that Y/N would answer, but she was wrong about that.

How could Y/N possibly like her back though? Y/N is so much more than her. Nayeon is scarred and has traumas left from her childhood. Why would Y/N love someone like that? It doesn't make sense, but then again she's not complaining.

"If it weren't for you, I already would have given up. You give me strength and you motivate me to keep going." Nayeon admitted.

"It's the same in my case." Seeing how Nayeon is getting treated by her family only makes Y/N want revenge even more.

"I want to bring them down, Y/N. I want them to suffer like I did and like I do. I want that company so bad so that I can make them regret whatever they did to me." Nayeon explained and Y/N thought about telling her plan to her, but again she couldn't bring herself to do it.

"I promise, they're going to regret everything." Y/N said in a serious tone. They're going to regret treating Nayeon badly, putting Mr. Chou in jail and most importantly killing Mr. and Mrs. Park.

"Let's sleep now, we'll think about what to do tomorrow okay?" Y/N asked and Nayeon nodded as she buried her face in Y/N's neck. Both of them fell asleep shortly afterwards.

It's morning and Nayeon woke up with no Y/N beside her. She guesses that Y/N already woke up since Y/N likes to wake up early. She got out of bed and got herself ready to go downstairs. Right when she was about to leave the room, something caught her eye on Y/N's desk. She went closer and saw some pictures. She hesitated wether or not to look at them. She might be invading Y/N's privacy by looking at them, but still Y/N wouldn't leave something personal on her desk like this, would she?

So Nayeon decided to look at them and the moment she did, she furrowed her eyebrows. She couldn't believe her eyes. She knows her dad has an awful personality but she didn't expect for him to go this far. It's one thing that he's cheating, but above that he's cheating with Sana's mother? This is too much.

"Nayeon-ah, did you..." Y/N walked in and stopped mid-sentence when she saw Nayeon with the pictures in her hand.

"Where did you get this?" Nayeon asked Y/N. Why does Y/N have these pictures? How long has she known?

"I..."

"Tell me!" Nayeon suddenly yelled startling Y/N.

"How about we sit down and talk about this?"

"You knew about this and didn't tell me?" Nayeon's eyes teared up.

"I wanted to, but I just couldn't."

"How long have you known?" Nayeon questioned.

"For a while now. I asked Dahyun to keep an eye on Jin and your father and this was the result."

"This is a one time thing right? Like they just had a one night stand or something, right?" Nayeon is hoping that her father only did this once, but the way Y/N looked at her tells her that it's not.

"Please tell me it is." Nayeon said once again.

"It's not. I think this has been going on for a while now."

"Fuck!" Nayeon yelled in frustration and threw the pictures on the desk.

"You're planning to do something with this aren't you? I know you well enough." Nayeon isn't stupid, she knows Y/N has a plan with it. She knows Y/N left those pictures on her desk on purpose.

"Yeah. We could use this to our advantage."

"How?" Nayeon is confused.

"By revealing it. If this gets out it'll ruin his reputation and I could..." Y/N tried to explain but Nayeon interrupted her.

"No, we're not doing that Y/N. I might hate my dad but I can't do this to my mom. This will break her." Y/N knew that Nayeon was going to say this. She needs to find a way to convince her.

"Look, this could put an end to everything. This could make you the CEO, Nayeon-ah. Please give it a thought."

"How is this going to help me?" In Nayeon's eyes this will make everything just worse.

"I'm the largest shareholder right now, after this news gets released none of the shareholders would want a cheating man to be the CEO of the company that they put their money in. I could arrange an urgent shareholders meeting and that way I could suggest to change the CEO. There will be a vote and if you get their votes, you could become the CEO." Y/N explained.

"I-I don't know." It does sound like a good idea, but Nayeon doesn't want her mother to suffer in the process.

"Just at least think about it, okay? But don't think too long, we don't have a lot of time." Y/N informed. She'll give Nayeon the time to agree on this, but if she doesn't then Y/N has no choice but to do this behind Nayeon's back.

"I'm going to work now. I'll try to come home earlier. If you get bored just hang out with Tzuyu or Chaeyoung or with my mom even. They're all home today." Y/N said and kissed Nayeon's cheek before she left the house.

Nayeon has been thinking for hours about Y/N's suggestion and she really doesn't know what to do. This could lead to her becoming the CEO, but this will also mean the end of her family. It's a tough choice that she can't seem to make.

If she keeps staying in Y/N's room like this all day, then she'll lose her mind. But where can she even go to? She can't go home, she can't go to the company and she doesn't have any friends to hang out with. She could call Mina but that would be awkward since Mina is Sana's best friend and her father is fucking Sana's mother. So she just decided to go to the kitchen to look for some snacks.

"Ah Nayeon-ah, what are you looking for? Are you hungry?" Ms. Chou asked when she entered the kitchen.

"I'm just bored." Nayeon sighed. She should have gone with Y/N, but she didn't want to bother her.

"Well, I'm preparing dinner. Do you want to help?"

"I can't really cook." Nayeon admitted.

"I'll teach you, c'mon." Well, it's better than to stay in that room all day so Nayeon agreed.

"Just try to cut these, like this." Y/N's mother demonstrated.

"See you're doing a good job." The woman smiled and patted Nayeon's arm making Nayeon smile as well. She's just so nice and charming, now Nayeon gets where Y/N got all her charms from.

"I know you're having a hard time. If you ever need to talk to an adult, you can talk to me."

"Thank you, Ms. Chou."

"You know, I'm very thankful towards you." The woman suddenly said.

"To me? Why?" Nayeon raised her eyebrows.

"Well, Y/N is pretty stubborn and she's not very social either but after meeting you she changed for the better. She looks happier and it seems like she finally realizes that she can like someone too. Please don't leave her even if she makes mistakes. She cares about you a lot, please remember that." Nayeon just nodded upon hearing that, but she doesn't quite get what the woman means. What mistakes could Y/N make and why would Nayeon leave her?

"You're a very good mother to Y/N and Tzuyu." Nayeon smiled.

"I hope they think that too." The woman sighed. She knows Y/N is still mad at her even if she's not showing it.

"Y/N might be mad right now, but she doesn't think of you any differently than before. Believe me."

"Thank you, Nayeon-ah." Ms. Chou feels kinda bad for thinking badly about Nayeon all these years. Turns out that Nayeon is actually very nice.

"We should ask Nayeon to hang out with us." Tzuyu suggested while hanging out with Chaeyoung and Jihyo.

"What? Why?" Chaeyoung doesn't like the idea.

"Y/N unnie told us not to leave her alone remember? She's going through a hard time, we should try to help her."

"Since when do you care about people?" Jihyo chuckled.

"I don't, but Y/N unnie does."

"Still, I don't like the idea. Why do we need to include her?" Chaeyoung kept protesting.

"Tzuyu is right, Chaeyoung-ah. She just got thrown out by her father, she's probably not doing well." Jihyo added.

"Yeah, shouldn't you understand her better since you went through the same thing?" Tzuyu asked her.

"Fuck you, Tzuyu. Ugh fine then, but you ask her. I won't do it."

"I'll go get her." Tzuyu stood up and went to Y/N's room, but there was no one present. Where could she be? Maybe her mom knows where she is, so she went to the kitchen.

"Mom, did you see, oh here she is." Tzuyu said when she saw Nayeon with her mother.

"Something wrong, Tzuyu?"

"No, I just wanted to ask Nayeon-ssi if she wants to hang out with Chaeyoung, Jihyo unnie and I." Nayeon is a bit surprised that they're asking her to hang out with them while Y/N isn't even here.

"What a good idea. I'll do the rest Nayeon-ah. You go hang out with the girls."

"Are you sure?" Nayeon doesn't want to leave it in the middle.

"Of course, go ahead." The woman smiled and Nayeon did as she was told.

"You met Jihyo unnie before right?" Tzuyu remembers Y/N telling her that they went to Ms. Park's restaurant.

"Yeah once."

"She doesn't know anything about what happened so please keep what you know to yourself, okay?" Tzuyu pleaded.

"Of course." It's not Nayeon's place to tell anyways.

"Found her." Tzuyu and Nayeon finally arrived at the living room where the two other girls are.

"Hello, Nayeon-ssi. It's been a while." Jihyo greeted her.

"Hello." Nayeon bowed lightly. Normally she's not a shy person at all, but why is she feeling so shy right now? Maybe because these girls in front of her are very important to her and she wants to leave a good impression on them.

"When will Y/N come?" Jihyo wondered.

"Y/N just messaged me, she'll be home in about half an hour." Nayeon mentioned. Y/N has been texting her all day to make sure Nayeon is doing okay.

Y/N just arrived at home and went straight to the living room since one of the maids told her that Nayeon and the girls are there. She was surprised to see Jihyo there as well. Y/N still finds it hard to approach her after she found out that Jihyo is her half-sister.

"Y/N unnie! You're finally here!" Chaeyoung yelled.

"Yah, no need to yell." Jihyo scolded her.

"What's up Chaeyoung-ah?" Y/N messed up her hair.

"I really hate when you do that." Chaeyoung glared at Y/N. "I'm not a kid you know."

"Yes, you are in my eyes. Even if you wear leather jackets and ride a bike, you're still a kid to me." Y/N chuckled as she did the same thing to Tzuyu, which made Tzuyu glare at her as well.

"Jihyo-ssi, didn't expect you to be here." Y/N doesn't know what to say, she's just trying to act like she did before.

"Why? I come here quite often, don't I?" Jihyo asked.

"True that." Y/N smiled and approached Nayeon.

"Hi." Y/N suddenly kissed Nayeon's cheek, which made Nayeon blush intensely. The three other girls looked at each other smirking.

"Hi." Nayeon said in a cute tone.

"They didn't bother you right?" Y/N sat next to her.

"Yah, why would we bother her?" Chaeyoung asked.

"They didn't. In fact they kept me company while you were gone and your mom too."

"Mom too?" Y/N raised her eyebrows and Nayeon nodded. Seems like they're starting to like Nayeon.

"Are they dating for real?" Jihyo whispered to Tzuyu.

"I have no idea." Tzuyu answered. The two act like a couple, but Tzuyu is pretty sure that Y/N won't ask Nayeon to be her girlfriend due to the circumstances.

"What are you two whispering?" Y/N asked.

"Nothing." Jihyo shook her head.

"They were talking about you two." Chaeyoung answered instead.

"Yah!" Tzuyu and Jihyo both scolded her. Chaeyoung can never keep her mouth shut.

"About us?"

"Don't mind her unnie, she's lying." Tzuyu tried to save them and luckily Y/N didn't question any further. The five girls kept hanging out until Jihyo decided that it's time for her to leave.

"Y/N can you show me out?" Jihyo asked and Y/N nodded.

"I see you're falling hard, huh?" The girl smirked.

"Fine, you were right. Happy now?"

"Hell yeah, I knew this was going to happen." Jihyo cheered. "But you don't look happy. Why's that?"

"She's an Im, is that enough explanation?"

"She doesn't seem like she's one of them though." Jihyo shrugged it off.

"Her family put my dad in jail and killed your parents. She may not be like them, but she's still from that family." Jihyo does know who killed her parents, but of course she doesn't know that her mother is also Y/N's mother. She also doesn't know that Y/N was the cause of their death.

"How can you be so calm about this?" Y/N doesn't get why Jihyo seems to forget what happened.

"You think that I forgot about everything? Of course I want her family to pay for what they did but I also want you to be happy and if Nayeon makes you happy then I'm fine with it. It's not like she killed them, I doubt she even knows about it." Jihyo explained.

"I still feel like shit for liking the daughter of that asshole."

"Don't Y/N. We don't choose who we fall in love with. I just want you to be happy." Jihyo caressed Y/N's arm and suddenly Y/N pulled her into a tight hug.

"What is this for?" Jihyo hugged back in confusion.

"Thank you." Y/N feels so bad for her. She badly wants to tell her that she's her sister, but Jihyo took a very long time to get over her parents' death. In fact she only recently started doing well again, Y/N doesn't want to add onto her pain.

"Anything for you, Y/N-ah." Jihyo pulled away.

"Y/N, can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead."

"Can I help you? I know I said that I didn't want revenge, but I feel like I owe it to my parents. I just want to help."

"Are you sure?" Y/N is a bit worried. When Jihyo finds out that they died because of Y/N, she might never want to see Y/N's face again.

"Yes, please let me help you."

"But there's nothing you can do. I'm almost there anyways." If Jihyo gets in contact with Jin or Mr. Im, there will be a possibility that they'll tell her about what actually happened.

"Please, even if it's a small thing. I want to help."

"Okay fine, I'll call you if there is something." Y/N gave in and Jihyo was about to leave.

"Wait!"

"What's wrong?" Jihyo stopped in her tracks.

"Why don't you call me unnie? I'm older than you." Y/N wondered.

"Yah, I used to call you unnie, but you got mad every time I did it so I stopped doing it." Jihyo reminded her.

"Oh yeah right." Y/N never saw Jihyo as her dongsaeng so that's why she didn't like it when Jihyo called her unnie. But now that she knows that Jihyo is her younger sister, she kind of wants Jihyo to call her unnie.

"You want me to call you unnie now?" Jihyo raised her eyebrows.

"No, no, it's fine." Y/N lied but Jihyo didn't buy it.

"Bye, Y/N unnie." Jihyo felt weird saying it, but she could sense that Y/N wanted her to call her like that.
